Ulta is my second beauty store I enjoy going to. They always have a great selection of products. I end up buying more than I go for every time.

I just got my hair done here and Tory did an absolute amazing job on my hair and she was so friendly along with the other associates as well!! I will definitely be coming back to her to get my hair done again!

We just spent almost $500 in your store because Jasmine was AMAZING!!!!! My best friend wanted a make over and we just came in to look but this pretty, curly haired young lady was so attentive, informative and knowledgeable AND patient!! What an AMAZING shopping experience!!! Please give that girl a raise!

Went in to buy some YSL cologne but I couldnt find the exact item on the shelf. An associate searched multiple locations until she found it and was very pleasant along the way. I dont need to shop for cologne/cosmetics often but its amazing to have a standout experience like the one I had today. Great job!

I am SO disappointed with my experience here today. I went in to get a concealer and needed help finding the right shade because it was my first time buying this brand. I walked around the store for 20 minutes waiting for a sales associate to help me. No one said a word to me, meanwhile other customers were walking in the store and they were immediately greeted by an associate asking if they needed help. It made me feel horrible. Finally, a young woman (who I am assuming was the manager) asked me if I needed help. I said, Yes, I have actually been here for 20 minutes waiting for someone to help me. She apologized and helped me find my shade. She was nice, but then I go to check out and the cashier was not very nice. From now on I will be shopping at Sephora inside the Mall of Georgia, they have a friendly and attentive staff. After all, I can afford to shop where I am treated with respect.

I hate having to go in this store but I just needed one thing. I thought surely I can run in for 5 minutes and avoid rude staff. But no lie couldnt even make it 5 minutes. Seriously where do they find these people?! Heres a tip try hiring people who have some sort of customer service skills. Last time I make this mistake. I would rather order online directly from the makeup site. I seriously dont even want to order from Ulta online.

Have not been in for a few years. Nice changes in arrangements ok f sections and registers. But walked out of line because so far counted 7 people with masks under chins. Not holding to 6 ft in-between. Line very slow at register no employee walking around store I could find.

Location is the closest to my house. This location has everything in stock most of the time. I just wish they had more sales associates on the floor to help with specific departments. I needed help finding a toner and the associate showed me other beauty products instead of a toner. I had to ask another associate to help me again.

Seems like I’m not the only one who has had a bad experience with the manager at this location. Went to pick up an online order for a friend who added me as an alternative person for pick up. Got to the store and the sales associate said she couldn’t find my name on the pick up order so she went to get her manager. The manager was extremely rude. She had the WORST attitude. The way she spoke to me was as if I was the biggest inconvenience to her. All she had to do was look it up in their system and sure enough they found my name, took her 10 seconds to do that. I definitely won’t be shopping here. That’s why I stick to Sephora who always has good customer service. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a trip to this horrible establishment.

Purchased some things online... went to store to pick up not even 20 minutes ago all for the EXTREMELY RUDE lady to say “she didn’t have one of the things I ordered.” Because “someone else ordered it too and picked it up before you”.... WHAT?! Why in the hell would you tell me it’s ready for pick up IF YOU DID NOT HAVE MY ORDER?! I was also charged for the item and she tried to say I was not. Even after I showed her the receipt. WILL NOT GO BACK!Will not say WHY she acted this way towards me. But I will say “pay attention to what’s going on in the world currently” she thinks she has the right. pretty sure you know what I mean.

The layout of this ulta stresses me out lmao. johns creek makes more sense and has way better lighting. employees here are really nice tho!! but whoever designed this layout was clearly clinically depressed

Today around 5:30, I needed to know where a product was located, instead of the manager offering to tell me where the item was located, she told me the store was probably sold out. Two reps said the same thing, it wasn’t sold out, I just didn’t know where it was. Finally the 3rd rep went to go find it. The atmosphere is dull and the employees aren’t helpful. Highly disappointed in the service I received today.

Never have I ever had such an awful experience at an Ulta. Ulta is/used to be my happy place until I moved and this was my new closest location. I wanted to return some things and the manager was doing the returns for me but her attitude was extremely rude, she couldn’t do the returns and was getting so frustrated that the items weren’t pulling up that she slammed the merchandise on the counter without giving me any explanation of why it was taking so long. It was such an awkward and long experience that I even apologized for it taking so long out of her time to what she only mumbled back “it’s okay”. If I’d wanted to deal with a rude crew, I’d shop at Sephora. Needless to say I’m never shopping at this location ever again. Would rather drive 45 minutes to my OG location at Peachtree Corners where everyone is nice and the service is always great!

Cashier was nice. Two staff members were absolutely rude! Other Ulta stiares have nicer staff.

Jasmine S did my make up look today. It was really easy and simple process. All I had to do was purchase $60 worth of Mac make up products to get an entire face glam. She was on time, friendly, and asked me what type of look I wanted and took her time. The best Mac rep Ive ever used. I will return to Ulta. It feels good to pay for make up to take home and have a glam look out of it.

Every time i come in to this location the staff is off to the side having personal talk while i aimlessly wander around the store. No one ever offers to help. This use to be one of my favorite Ulta’s now i will be driving 30+ minutes out of my way to go to the next closest. RIDICULOUS.

Horrible service. I have given this store many chances to see if they’ll improve and it’s always horrible. Staff are incredibly rude and very judgmental! I had to help customers myself since the employees just love sitting around.

I had the BEST experience at this store! I came in initially needing to change shades of my Estee Lauder foundation but I met two of the most helpful staff that helped turn my visit into an educational experience! One of the young ladies was named Zakiyyah. I had a piece of paper with the other young ladies name (she was also a Black woman, natural hair and glasses) but I lost it! She worked the same shift as Zakiyyah on 9/25/2020 and she was such a gem!!!I not only left with my new shade but I let with other essential items I needed to update in my makeup regimen.As a Black woman, it is hard to find staff that are knowledgeable about my makeup hurdles but that also know the high end and drugstore brands that will help. Not once did I feel pressured to keep shopping on the prestige side of the store and not once was I treated differently for preferring products on the drugstore side. I REALLY enjoyed my experience with the two ladies here and for that reason I will be returning and referring all of my friends to this location!

Just came in for the brow bar and it felt like they were just making reasons to charge me more because they kept saying what I usually do would cost extra for some reason. All I asked was if she could clean up the peach fuzz on my forehead after she did my eye brows so that it wouldn’t look weird after. It really felt like they just didn’t want to do it so I left, the one in athens is amazing I’m heading there next.

Dirty, appeared ransacked. Stock strewn about, unorganized. Looked for help, one woman rushing around trying to help people while another hid behind a display to text. Ill just pay shipping. Going to the store was a waste of time.

This was my first visit, and I guess with my wife and daughters needed some of their supplies, this will not be my last. I was actually shocked at home many products they carry, and that would almost be my one gripe. There are so many products, and not all of it is out to purchase off of the shelf, so it was hard to get help to track down the product we wanted to purchase.Once we did track the product down, the checkout staff was polite, efficient and helpful. Overall, it is a nice place.

Firstly, I don’t leave Google reviews. I’m very busy, and I have other priorities in life. But I feel I must here. I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars in this store. I’m in monthly and buy the same very expensive products each time. Without fail, EVERY time when I check out I have the same experience: disinterested clerk-phone number? Me-I’m not in your system, it’s fine thanks. They then give me total attitude, and tell me without my phone number there are no returns. Which is absurd, but I assure them I won’t be returning products I’ve used for ten years. After that, dead silence. Nothing. Won’t even look at me. Toss the product and receipt in the bag and say ‘next customer’. The clerk on my last visit (and I do mean LAST), Sophiya, was the final straw for me. She didn’t even try to hide her disdain. I actually said after she tossed my bag on the counter, blanking me, ‘you’re welcome’ and she just smirked at me. So here’s a hint to this store: I, and everyone else, can get the exact same products online or elsewhere, and cheaper. And without the nasty attitude. I’ll never set foot in there again. A shame really, and so unnecessary.

I would normally order online, but i knew Ulta had what i needed so I went to find it. I asked the lady working in the hair area where the product was, and she seemed annoyed but advised me. it still took me a minute to find the product, but then i had questions between two different products. so i went back to the lady and politely asked her my question, and she was rude and sarcastic to me by just saying what i could already read directly on the box. i probably wont come back to this location.

The staff here are lazy, unhelpful, and uncaring. They won’t go out of their way to help you, they don’t care to help you. They don’t seem knowledgeable about the products or anything about promotions, coupons, ect.I had a coupon that should have been working but for some reason it wasn’t. They did not do anything to try to fix the problem. I was like “did the coupon work?” The person was like “idk I guess not.” I literally had to keep pushing them to get help. They have me reason after reason of why it might not be working, reason that weren’t the reason! Like it’s because you don’t have $15 worth, uhm mam my total is $25 try again. I had a valid coupon, if they really couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working which they didn’t even try, at least take off the amount that was on my coupon. In the end I didn’t get to use a coupon for no reason. Literally because they were lazy and uncaring.

Great as always. It was mermaid day, many girls that work there were dressed as beautiful mermaids. Thats at the Jacksonville fl airport location.

Awesome selection of makeup! This is a great store to buy anything you need beauty wise. The only reason it doesnt have 5 stars is because of the staff. They are friendly once you find one that can help you but until then nobody comes up to you and asks if you need help. You also usually will only find staff at the front desk or on another side of the store. Also nobody has the same opinion on products. You can go in one day and somebody says its great, then go in another day and someone says its not a great product. I would really like some consistency and a staff that has more knowledge of the products.

Real nice makeup real cheap. I can think of no simpler phrase to describe Ulta Beauty. I have sensitive skin and prefer oil free makeup and they were able to meet my barometer of needs. I found some great products that I will definetly go buy again.

This store has gotten a lot better recently. I’m not sure what has changed exactly but the staff seems better all around. There is a particular manager, her name is Lori, that is always super helpful. I shop there often and she always remembers me and treats me like an old friend. You just don’t get old fashioned service like that often anymore. Sometimes the line is a bit long but usually they eventually get help and get through it. This store is very busy on the weekends so I prefer to shop at the beginning of the week when I know I’ll get better service.

Staff always friendly & helpful, but the price markup is steep. Only buy things that have price control. Its a lovely, clean, organized store, the prices for many things are just too high!

I would have given this store one star if it were not for Justine. This girl was so helpful and nice and knowledgeable of the product. The other staff members didn’t do much to help me, one even said she was going to look for something for me and never came back. You should definitely come here though and ask for Justine, she is so patient and helpful, I cannot express enough how great she is at her job.

I really should review this as 3 stars; just liked. The manager is somehow managed to forget she was confirming an item was on sale. I had already purchased and had to reenter the store to get it corrected. I should have been memorable. I was the only customer there.The other staff was friendly and helpful. Quite the usual one expects from Ulta.Just hope the manager doesnt have to help you. For some reason, cashiers arent allowed to do any refunds or returns. None. Every one must call for a manager. So they distrust all employees but managers? Interesting question.

Fantastic experience shopping for make up in this store. This was my first time at Ulta and I was a little overwhelmed by the massive inventory and variety of brands. They had a great promotion going on when if you spend $20 on Ulta beauty products you get a free makeup bag filled with swag. Now Im a big fan of Ulta after using their liquid liner, eye pallet, lip gloss, primer and more... I will be back for more. :)

Hillary did an amazing job on my hairstyle... shes got a client for life. Im so jazzed with my new haircut I went short which was a little scary but I showed her what I wanted with a picture and she nailed it! Super nice staff too.

I did not care for customer service of Timara. I walked up to this location at 9:57 am, Timara let an employee in, but told me, “We are not open yet.” I then asked, “Oh, what time do you open?” She said, “10 o’clock. You have 4 minutes.” I shook my head and waited patiently. Once I got inside I picked up an order on hold and everyone else was friendly. However when I was checked out Timara, her tone was very cold. This was my first time at Ulta and I think I’ll stick with my usual go to - Macy’s.

Walked in with a small cart from next door and one of the employees started pushing me and my 1 year old out. I was going to exchange a product because I accidentally grabbed a tester, but after the rude exchange, I opted for a refund instead. There are no posted signs saying carts arent allowed in-store to warrant this extremely rude behavior. There was simply no reason to be so rude as if I was supposed to know about this rule. Especially considering Ive been in the store with my toddler in a cart twice.

I normally love Ulta stores. They have great prices and a full selection of beauty items. Although this location is convenient for me, I would prefer to drive to a different location due to the RUDE staff. Every single time Ive forced myself to go to this location I have regretted it. I would say 90% of the staff act like they are better than you and too busy to help you find anything. I guess they forgot they work in retail. If your able to avoid this location, I would. Save yourself from the bad attitudes at this Ulta location.

Went there to get some Ulta Exclusive brand - Makeup Revolution. Online they said they were out of stock of the concealer I wanted, but I decided to stop by anyways just to check. They had in in stock! So I was super excited about that. The store was super clean! Though there were some of the products opened and played with ( no they were not testers. ).

These women are so helpful and passionate about their job! Love the assistant manager she was great! So many great products!

Do not go to the salon for hair extensions application with Carolina. Shes very nice but didnt know what she was doing and I had to leave for another salon the morning of a family wedding. Stressful.

Posting this on behalf of my wife. Unacceptable experience and a poor haircut by Ultas stylist!My wife went in to get a simple haircut trim to make her hair even and get rid of dead ends. Instead, she walked out with her hair completely uneven, shorter than she wanted, and what the stylist called a waterfall style. My wife had never heard of this style nor had she asked for it and had told stylist she straightens her hair. My wife will have to live with this haircut until her hair grows again. Clearly, the stylist did not have professional experience or knowledge of what was asked and the poor job she delivered. Salon manager was helpful and understood the situation. She refunded the charge after 3-4 weeks of my wife calling to complain about her experience with no return calls. My recommendation is train your stylists to listen and understand what is being asked and deliver a quality haircut to meet client needs. I suggest staying away from this location for salon service needs.

Hillary is awesome! She has cut my hair several times and I always get compliments on my haircuts. Always an excellent experience!

I did not like my experience. I came to do my roots ONLY, got charged 60 something dollars and left with COLOR ON MY FOREHEAD. Also my hair is very simple to blowdry....the stylist was horrible having m put my head forward with all my hair, brushing so hard as she was drying my easy already straight hair.My hair left puffy and coarse. Not smooth or silky.Needless to say I will not be coming back.

This place has quite a bit of hair and makeup options. They also carry hair dryers and other hair styling tools. You can find various perfumes and colognes.

The sales staff was very helpful in assisting my teen daughter with her search for appropriate makeup. They showed her reasonable items and stayed on budget.

Always love coming here. For one the store seemed well stocked. Much better deals than sephora.

Im not a fan of makeup, but my wife is. She loves their sales, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I like Ulta and have found my new makeup there thanks to a couple of very good sales ladies. But there are some who are very unhelpful depending on when Im there. Its close and that nice the prices are a little high but no higher than Dept stores, which is nice that I dont have to go in them.

I disagree to gave you my phone number . That it is my private information and the cashier said(Jasmine. Store 80). If I want to return any item I need to gave her my name and phone number. I hate and dislike to gave my phone to the store for all the scams calls and the stole my identity Or somebody call me to offer your promotions . This is the last time I will buy for your store. . If I could give zero stars I would. The staff here is rude and unprofessional. I was in the store for over 30 mins, and never once was I asked if I needed help or offered assistance... but the sales associates went out their way to follow me around the store as if I was stealing. The cashier was extremely rude and only cracked a fake smile when she say I was a Diamond status rewards member. I will be following up with the area District Manager on my poor experience.

We just moved to the area and loved Ulta at other locations but I’ve never come across such RUDE and unprofessional staff at the Buford location . We absolutely won’t be shopping here anymore . I’ll happily drive to a more friendlier store .

Spent at least 30 minutes looking around before I was even acknowledged by an associate. Had not been in this store in a while and not I see I havent missed much. Still ended up spending 70$. Should have gone back to mall and spent that at Sephora. Much better service there better stocked shelves and cleaner.

Today I went to this location to buy a pallet I’ve been wanting. I asked for help and the lady ignored me. I asked someone else she was kinda helpful directed yme in the right direction. They were sold out. And I get they can’t help that. But then I asked a third lady for help and she wouldn’t make eye contact with me. So I just left.

So my husband gave me a mom moment today and told me to go have fun shopping for a few hours. Ive wanted to try Shape Tape for a while, but Im terrible at shade matching. I had the opportunity to go into this store today and spoil myself, I chose not to for one reason. Your lines are always rediculous! I would wait to be shade matched, but didnt want to wait an unnecessary amount of time in line.I dont want your credit card, there needs to be a faster way to pull up accounts, and you possibly need more cashiers. I understand not rushing with customers. But if I have to spend 20 minutes in line JUST TO CHECK OUT, Ill pass and go somewhere else.Ive not had an experience with a rude employee, its just inefficient methods.

Very rude manager in this store. She looks like she hates her job. Girls on floor are very helpful. You have to make sure to ask for special gifts of some promos.

These guys are are very organized, caring, fun to work with and gave me a very wonderful hairstyle/color. Highly recommended!

Extremely rude African American employee named Somone who was just standing around doing nothing. With an angry tone of voice she ambiguously and lazily answered my question and was not helpful at all. She hypocritically treated an employee who works there kindly, but with me as the customer she treated me as a pest by insulting me with an angry tone of voice rather than the little sweet voice she responded to one of the employees. She was also accusing me that I can see the product from far when she was pointing at it but I told her I couldnt see it, and she kept arguing with me that I can see it. I told her Im not lying to you I have stignatism and I cant find the product Im looking for. I know for sure I wont be buying from this Ulta. Ill just buy it on Amazon. This incident occurred on Tuesday May 21, 2019 at 7:30pm.

I have never had such bad customer service before. The clerks outwardly ignore you and treat you like a nuisance if you force them to notice you. I thought it was just a fluke the first time but it happened again when I went back 3 weeks later. I simply asked where the matte primer had been moved to and, without making eye contact, the silly clerk said the drug store items are all up front. Excuse me but its not a drug store item or I wouldnt be in your store. She was so condescending. So, I left empty handed and wont be back. Good luck finding a job when us decent folk resort to only buying online because of people like you.

The staff is very helpful in what you need to find and is is willing to help you out if you cannot find a certain product or if you need help to find something that suits you.

If I could give zero stars I would. My first time in, I walked in with my 2year old in a shopping cart. I immediately got YELLED at from across the store from a rude woman. You cant come in here with a shopping cart. Ok...I take my kid out along with my 2 Nordstrom bags and proceed into the store to buy and get my eyebrows done. Employees just looked at me, no smile, no hello, nothing....I walked out and went somewhere else to get my products. Bad energy in that store.

This was my first ever visit to an Ulta store and I wont be back. I went in to do a color match because I have a hard time finding a foundation that isnt too yellow. An employee approached me and offered help, but made me aware that they do not do color matches on the brand that I wanted. She told me to go to Target to try them. Another employee then proceeded to talk about a bunch of stuff that didnt make much sense, and when I asked about another product, she led me to it and dropped me off. This location didnt have any of the products I planned to purchase and nobody offered to order or suggested a similar product.Its overwhelming when you go into a store like this, not really knowing what to expect, and the employees are supposed to be your guide. I was excited about the rewards program after looking online and had planned on ordering the products online, but I ended up getting the foundation from Target and the skin care products directly from manufacturer.

Almost everything I needed was out of stock and most of the testers and palettes on display had been distroyed. I put my few items back on the shelf, walked out and ordered what I wanted online. It was in my hands less than a week later and in pristine condition. I feel like most ultas and sephora locations are increasingly disorganized and like this one. I will stick with ordering from their app.Edit - as of 06/21 this store has improved leaps and bounds. We were there today and it was clean, well stocked, organized, and properly staffed. I was able to find The Ordinary products that Ive been meaning to order and now I dont have to. Kudos on the turn around!

I have been using Ulta for years and have NEVER experienced the crap I just did. I asked the clerk if she could look for some foundation because my color wasnt on the shelf. So she looks in one drawer, I asked if she could look in the rest if the drawers and she opened one and closed it. She didnt offer to look into the other drawers so I left. How can you expect to keep your customers if you dont go above and beyond for them??

I don’t often do this, but time and time again I’ve been having horrible cashier experiences at Ultas. Before I could say hello, cashier Brittany was extremely unfriendly and stopped me with “Phone number?” before I could say anything. She carried a conversation off to the side the entire transaction, threw my things in the bag and gave it to me without a smile and a very sarcastic ‘have a good day.’ I’ve worked retail and I know what it’s like to have a bad day if that’s her excuse, but this is yet again another time I’ve had an unfriendly Ulta cashier. I’ll go back to Sephora where I’ve never had a bad experience. I hope your day gets better Brittany, but I think you could use an attitude adjustment.

Im tired of going to this store. The employees are cold and rude. They rarely greet me and are rarely helpful. Hire some nicer people.

Was helped by a young lady named Hillary. Knew just what i needed and knew exactly where it was. They have a great selection and good prices.

Brittany at Ulta salon was great. Definitely recommend (especially blondes). My highlights are perfect.

Cashier at the checkout gave me wrong advice. These employees need good training or should not be telling customers what they think.

Visited the store last week and was surprised at how empty the shelves are. I walked around at least 15 minutes, was never asked by an associate if I needed help, even though 2 or 3 walked by and clearly saw me looking. I finally assumed they didnt have what I was looking for, but I did find something I was looking for on a clearance shelf. When I went to the checkout, I also had an item without a receipt. I received it as a gift. I asked the clerk if she could check and see if it was from there, and was promptly told no. She said she could check my Ulta rewards number, which I told her again that it was a gift and my number wasnt used. After I left, I checked their return policy without receipt, and their website says that they could have scanned to see if they carry the item, and a store credit could have been issued. I wont be going back to this location. The staff is clueless.

Just went here with my MIL. She tried to return a can of Kendra hair spray. Because she didn’t have a receipt they said they would have to do a blind return. Which they told us would be the cheapest sale price for the product in the last 90 days. Ok fine. They look it up and say they’ll give her ONE PENNY!! So I ask to speak to a manager. The cashier tells me the girl beside her can help. So this other cashier says yes they can only give her a penny because somebody paid that for one using coupons and points. Needless to say I was livid. Not only did they not get a manager immediately when I asked for one, they are trying to refund based on how someone PAID for it not what they were CHARGED for it. Everything that you need for your beauty regimen. Certain things are pricier compared to the super chains but overall the shopping experience with the helpful staff makes it an enjoyable experience.

I only go there because that is the best place to see the most beautiful women in Gwinnett County...

Went with my GF and it was a pretty relaxing store with friendly helpful staff. This place smells really good if that counts lol 😀Was asked if we needed help by multiple staff which is good.As far as prices go... Its an Ulta store have realistic expectations.

I got the worst haircut at this place. I’d give it a negative five rating if I could. They chopped off my hair, too much of it, they don’t know how to cut layers, and according to them I had to get their “signature” haircut to get the look I wanted. It was a complete rip off and they were soooooo slow. I’m never going back and I will tell everyone I know not to bother.

Left this store without making a purchase. Was never once asked if I needed help. Watched every white customer who walked in be greeted and watched every other customer who walked in be ignored. I finally asked where an item was located and the store associate acted as if I was a moron for asking a question. I put my bag down and walked out. I will take my business where it will be appreciated. My money is just as green as anyone elses.

Staff at this store is generally unhelpful. Today I was at the store and had problems getting my gift card to work. The store manager was pretty unhelpful..she gave me the number to call but could have easily helped me by calling herself. She seemed irritated to have to help me. I will try a different ulta for my shopping now and wouldn’t shop at ulta if all the stores were like this one :-(.

Virginia at the Benefit brow bar, keeps me coming back. Beautiful brows and great customer service, makes for an AWESOME experience.

I really wish we had the option of not choosing any stars. Ulta made me leave because of my 6 lb Yorkie, which was in a bag. Why? Was it because of my race? I was in there before & saw a white woman carrying the same breed in her bag, however, she wasn’t even approached. It’s ok. No need to shop in this particular location anymore. Also, I was in the same location & the Lancôme rep convinced me to purchase a foundation that wasn’t for my complexion. Even though I stated that it wasn’t, she was very adamant stating that it was my color. Turns out, I did a flash test in natural lighting & sure enough the color was off. So maybe ulta need to better train their makeup representatives within the store instead of worrying about if my 6lb pup is going to jump out of the bag & attack them. Very disappointing. Customer service is horrible. And they even rounded up to talk about me while I went to go & put my dog in the car. My mother was there & overheard them. So it’s suffice to say that I will not be back at this location.
