Have gone here for years, many different stylists, very few complaints. The fact they are so short staffed, I still get quality haircuts, and can get an appointment usually when I need it says a lot. Hoping the staffing problem works itself out for them.

Friendly stylist excellent job. Just showed her a picture of the cut I wanted and she took it from there.

Stylist was very sweet and cut my hair very nicely. Didn’t catch her name but ark strait hair. I’m a cosmetologist too we had a good conversation about coloring and stuff. Very sweet!

When I went and had my hair coloured the lady got die all over my face my ears my neck and I am looking for a refund since I have to have this redone as it wasnt even coloured underneath.I cant even look I the mirror without crying!

Aliana was great! She listened to exactly what I wanted, and took the time to make sure I was happy with my cut. Which not every styleest will actually do. She was also a very pleasant conversationalist, and took the time to make sure everyone was looked in after as well as valued my time, which is also a hard balance! Especially since she was the only person running the salon when I was there. SHE DEFINITELY DESERVES A RAISE AND THE PRAISE! Thank you!

Haircut was fine. Return policy sucks! I bought an item a week ago and tried to return it. Was told no slip, no return by the same person that sold it to me. What kind of policy is that? Either refund or credit would have been appropriate. Not going back ever again.

I have been a client a Smart Style in Brunswick for 5 years or more. The stylists are current with cuts and styles. Shampoos are amazingly relaxing. My highlites are always beautiful and blend perfectly with my gray hair. The best part is admiring a friends hair and finding out they go to Smart Style too! I am always happy with my results.

The lady that cut my hair was nice enough but I have been growing my hair for two years and I asked the girl if she would section my hair into ponytails before cutting so I could take it home and donate it to an organization that gives free wigs to children in need and she said of course we just dont do donations here and send the hair out which I already knew as I have been researching for a while. So she measured it at 8 inches and I was like I think I will go to ten inches so she started cutting at this point I still thought she was just showing me what the length would look like... Next thing I knew she had cut half of my hair and never even put it into ponytails and in the instructions on donating hair it specifically states it has to be ponytailed before cuttingI was so disappointed I cried all of my hair was in a pile on the floor I will never go back.

I have been going to Katie for over 4 years now, she is completely amazing, talented, kind and truly knows so so so much about all types of hair (especially working with curly hair). The atmosphere is fun and enjoyable! All of the girls are so kind and talented! Absolutely recommend going to Katie!!

I stopped by yesterday afternoon, but the wait time was too long. They wouldnt let me schedule an appointment for the following day. Most SmartStyle salons Ive been to allow you to schedule in advance. I get here this morning and am told that there is a 10-15 minutes wait. So I do some shopping and come back.Now Im told that they forgot about another customer ahead of me. Well, it would be nice if I could sign in like you do at literally every other SmartStyle. Now Im told that I have an additional 15-20 minutes wait. Oh, and I have to find a bench in the store to wait. They wont even let you wait in one of several empty chairs inside the salon.Im visiting from out of state, here for my nieces graduation. I didnt have time to get a trim and wax before I left for the trip, but thought it would be no big deal. But Ill just have shaggy hair and brows for family portraits. This place is pathetic and unprofessional. Not getting my business.

Katie is a wonderful hairdresser. She always listens intently to my requests, makes suggestions for my hair type and sets to work. She has always given me a fabulous style. She is now my permanent hairdresser. I trust her implicitly.

Brooke has cut my hair for over a year and does an excellent job. I first went there to have a correction from another salon. She did a great job.

I went there 45 before they closed to find both stylists sitting down talking and was refused service with the excuse that there just wasnt time.Great business model I guess it takes 50 minutes per hair cut there.
