Deaconess Hospice has been a great asset to our facility. Morgan is very helpful and a great resource with many things we may need, even if a patient doesn’t qualify for their services she always has suggestions or ideas that are helpful. Their Director David and his staff went above and beyond with a particular patient to be sure his needs were met safely upon discharge home from a brief respite stay.. I appreciate each member of this team and dedication.

Deaconess Hospice has a great local team. My family has received services for 4 family members through the team at Deaconess. We have been very satisfied with the services provided and appreciate the staff who are so much more than nurses/caregivers. They are more like friends and family! We appreciate you all, and would definitely recommend you to others who have a need for their loved ones.

My father was diagnosed with Covid 19 at 90 years old. We knew what the outcome would be and having Deaconess Hospice was all the comfort we needed. The staff was professional, courteous and most of all, compassionate. The nurses were available at any given moment for reassurance and guidance. During this dreadful pandemic time, My Daddy was allowed to be comfortable and peaceful with his daughters at his side when it was his time to let go. From the time of the referral until the time the last piece of equipment was picked up, they were there to guide and were allowed to focus on the last bit of time we had with our precious Daddy. Thank you to all of the staff, Morgan, David, Darlene, Courtney and Robby. I highly recommend Deaconess during this time for you and your loved ones hospice needs.

Our home health agency often refers patients in need of hospice care to Deaconess Hospice Brookhaven. They are prompt and always ready and willing to assist our patients and their families in any way possible. Hospice nurses, CNAs, chaplains, social workers, & bereavement coordinators are such a blessing to patients and families during their hospice journey.
