I was there for a week two years ago in November 2019, with a pelvis fracture (crack-no surgery). They were wonderful. They had available, and in fact required, plenty of showers. Food was great. Staff was sufficient in number. Nurses, techs, therapists, and doctor were dedicated, courteous, and seemed very knowledgeable. Program was very organized, although it could have been more rigorous with more or longer therapy sessions. And, I never had to wait long upon ringing the call bell for assistance.

I am currently here, for a broken pelvis and tailbone. I have had nothing but excellent care here. The staff is very knowledgeable and compassionate. Food, imo, is excellent, great menu selection and amounts. Duh its bland- you season yourself bc not everyone can have salt🤦‍♀️When I press the nurse call button, longest its taken has been maybe 4 minutes? People Need to realize there Are other patients and these nurses Are doing their very best. If you have to wait a few minutes, you should Not gripe. Ive spoken with Dr.T every day and couldnt have received a better Dr. I am so very impressed with this facility and the people here. I was Very anxious and nervous when I got here, never had anything like this happen to me,but All the people here have made me feel very comfortable from day 1! Even Chuck, transport was awesome. Dr.T, Shonda, Shannon, Kylie, Emily, Brittany, Megan, Kalab, Carson, Greg, Kristy, Lily, Andre- theyve all been absolutely wonderful. And I k owing the nurses and staff I didnt meet-I highly doubt there anything but great too. God bless them all❣🙏🦋

My mom just spent approximately 20 days in this facility. Due to Covid there was no visitation except through her window and via phone. I did however get to visit the facility once and it is so clean and nice inside. The staff were wonderful. If you ever have a loved one in need of some physical therapy or rehab I highly recommend this facility!I wish to once again thank the staff for all their help and support during this difficult time.

The doctors, the staff, and almost all we had communications with were unprofessional, often unhelpful, and confused about their own responsibilities toward the care of their patient. It was a horrible experience.

They say you can deliver packages to your loved ones. But the experience I just had was rude and hateful. And my temp was 97.7 I dont have covid Ive had to take all the precautions because I live and take care of my husband. Who is now what feels like being held hostage in the facility.

My Mom was here for 12 days after a full hip replacement. She had fallen and broken her hip. She said everyone was super nice and helpful. I was so relieved she was in such goods hands since I couldnt be there due to covid-19.

Fantastic, experienced, talented staff who really care about their patients and patient families short and long term success. Amazing therapists, kind, caring nurses, doctors and techs, attentive efficient administration. Just a great group of people and a very nice facility.

Very very disappointed! Care definitely not what had hoped for or expected. Dr Cunningham allowed blood sugar to run in excess of 300 and over 400 a few times for 4 days! Inexcusable!!! No family consultations to discuss goals, progress or discharge. Feels like a number going through the motions in order to collect Medicare or insurance check. I wont ever recommend this place to anyone!

My experience of Health-south St. John wasn’t as rosey as some of the other reviews.First of all, when you go to use the pager, you don’t get to talk to an operator you have to wait for someone to show up to your room, to see what you need. Sometimes the wait can be as long as twenty minutes. When the person shows up, they are a nurse tech, and when you tell them what you need They tell you they have to go find your nurse. That process always takes the longest. After you’ve been waiting anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes, and hit the pager button, the nurse tech finally comes back and tells you she couldn’t find your nurse. If you do this process at shift change it will take over an hour to see your nurse. I really don’t know how they can get away with this. What if somebody had a medical emergency they could not wait around 10 to 20 minutes for a nurse tech to show up.I know I will never stay there again, I actually felt like I was in prison. Most of the nurses and nurse techs are pretty though friendly. So at least they have that going for them.
