I dont usually take the time to write google reviews but I felt like this one might benefit someone else who is as anxious as I am and thoroughly checks google reviews before new appointments.I was referred to Dr. Strand for a root canal. When I called BA Endodontics to make an appointment, the scheduler was extremely nice. A day before my appointment, I called back to ask more questions specific to my procedure and Liz really calmed my nerves the best she could.Of course, when I got there, I was so nervous. His assistant brought me back to do the evaluation and she talked super fast + seemed like she had already had a long day (it was almost lunch time too, so I completely understand) but it made my nerves strike up even more to the point I couldnt keep my hands and feet still. I will say she did answer all the questions that I had.Anyways, back to the real reason for this review - Dr. Strand. As soon as he came into the room, he immediately introduced himself and explained what he was going to be doing. I told him I was nervous, if he couldnt already tell, and I asked if it was going to hurt. His response was, It shouldnt but if you feel any pain at all, you let me know and Ill fix it. Then, he took my scans brought me back to his office to show/explain to me what had happened with my tooth.After he took the time to help me understand the process and listened to all my concerns, my anxiousness completely settled. During the procedure, if there was ever a chance that I could feel something, he told me before he did it. He also spent time telling me about his family to keep my mind off of the work he was doing on my tooth and, luckily, it worked! I felt no pain during the procedure or immediately after (since I was numb) but I did have soreness for about three days after. Ibuprofen was all I needed to take to help with that.There are certain people out there that have a way of making others feel comfortable and he is definitely one of them. Very personable and professional. The best endodontist that I could have gotten.Thank you!

Fantastic experience. If you need a Root Canal done, they make sure there is no pain whatsoever. Dr. Woodward was very fast and efficient. Customer service and experience 5 star hands down. Thank you yall!

Nice equipment...HORRIBLE experience. The doctor (Strand) was pushy...careless and very rough! I was very uncomfortable the whole time. Not once did he try to make me feel comfortable, his assistant was caring and almost looked ashamed for the docs actions. I paid for my service with no problem...even the extra bs I didnt need and I AM still having pain...but there is NO way I would go back. And he might be knowledgeable but I DIDNT appreciate the way I was treated especially when you were Referred to him. 👎👎

I had a great experience with them. The Dr and his wife came in during a snow storm to help me out. They both made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the process and I’m very great full for that.

I was referred to Dr Strand for a retreat of a root canal. His office staff is amazing! His assistant was such a blessing. I was so nervous and in such pain when I got to the appointment. She was so kind and caring during the entire visit. Theres not enough positive I can say about Dr. Strand. He explained everything so well, the good and possibly bad things that could happen. Which I really appreciated. The numbing was the worse part of the entire procedure and it wasnt nearly as bad as I was already hurting from my tooth. Today is the day after and the pain is gone!! Theres some soreness in my jaw from having it open but thats expected. If I ever need another root canal I will be coming here to have it done. I wont even let anyone else try.

Dr. Strand is amazing! I had a dentist mess up a root canal many years ago. Dr. Strand has saved my tooth, my smile, and my confidence! Cant say thank you enough for explaining every step of the process. If you want exceptional service visit here! His staff is very kind and professional, no funny business here.

They have a very kind staff, the latest equipment, and were very efficient in taking care of my root canal. outside of getting the original numbing shot, there was absolutely no discomfort at all. I would highly recommend them to anybody!!

I want to thank Dr. Woodward and his staff for their integrity. I went to Dr. Woodward for a root canal on the referral of my dentist. After thoroughly testing my tooth and reviewing the imagery they took with their equipment they were able to see that a root canal was not entirely necessary. It was a difficult location and my dentist was not able determine the extent of the decay with their equipment and was erring on the side of caution. After examination Dr. Woodward called my dentist and consulted with them and the two of them agreed that a root canal was not necessary. I really appreciate that they did not proceed with the root canal just because it was referred and I was in the chair and ready for it. He and his staff make a comfortable environment and were a pleasure to work with. I am certainly not seeking a root canal, but if I needed one, I assure you they would do it. Thank you very much Dr. Woodward!

Dr. Stand is the best! My dentist referred me to Broken Arrow Endodontics for a root canal. It was an emergency appointment. I was so scared because of past experiences 30 years ago, but I was received with a warm welcome. Reassured by Dr. Strand and his assistant that the procedure would be quick and painless and it was! The dental office is beautiful. The equipment is so modern. The room was clean which made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Strand is very personable. I love the country music playing while I waited for the procedure to take place. Relaxing for sure. Thank you Dr. Strand and staff for your warm welcome, politeness, efficiency, accuracy and no pain!

I have seen Dr Strand for several teeth and he has always been amazing. He is straight forward if you need a root canal or not. I trust him on his evaluations completely. He also did a retreat from a different dentist and did a great job. The entire office is very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind

Broken Arrow Endodontics saw me very quickly as I had a lot of pain and swelling going on. They were so caring and informative throughout the entire process. It was a wonderful experience! And hey, Dr.Strand even sang to me...so it was like dinner and a show, but a root canal. I highly recommend this group and will definitely go back to them.

I came in very nervous & left very happy, how many times have you heard that when you’re needing a root canal. Dr. Strand was incredible as well as his staff. The root canal he performed was less painful than the filling i had done on that same tooth by a different dentist. I left pain-free & relieved beyond belief. Ive always enjoyed going to the dentist.  I send my mind to a happy place of deep meditation, relaxation. I hear whats going on but I ignore it because Im so deep in thought.Today during my root canal, the dts attached a severe torture device as he told his assistant to sit back & let it run its course. It kept going (7 minutes). The uncomfortableness escalated at an alarming incline. I did not raise my hand as a sign of mercy because I am tough & figured it had to be done.  (Nope) I came alive, from that point on, there was no more relaxing as it washed away the numbing medication.If you need a root canal, dont let them use a new technology called GENTLE WAVE PROCEDURE.  Its a new toy a great salesman sold for over $80,000, this office bought 3, they are almost quarter million invested in this equipment. Its rented to us for $85 (7 mins), no insurance covers it & u will not be asked. Up front - You ask the question & just say NO.There only 4 units in the state of Oklahoma. Its not necessary. 3 of the units are where I went today. Everybody else doesnt have it because clearly its not needed.Say NO to GENTLE WAVE

Dr. Woodward was thorough, kind and very professional. My experience there was as good as experience that I can imagine while getting a root canal. Very professional assistants, front desk. Very clean, calm environment.

Dr Gibson and Mandy were amazing! If you need a root canal done, go here!! They are gentle and explain everything you need to know! I wouldnt go any other place now after going here! Great job and you can tell they really care about their patients, not just for the money!

Dr. Strand and his staff were phenomenal. From the moment I was checked in to the moment I checked out they were nothing but professional and made me feel at ease. Dr. Strand and Kelli made my root canal like a walk on the park! Even though this was my first time meeting them they made me feel right at home, like Ive been going there for years! I highly recommend this practice!

I have been to several dental offices. This office in particular seemed only interested in my money. They have this fancy new scanning machine that they say, Isnt required to get done, but it MAY give the specialist more to see. This scan is $160. I got it done and he couldnt give me any further conclusions from what he said before the scan. And the he was so pushy even though it was supposed to be my choice. Specialists in the past didnt need this scan to tell me there was some issue going on (maybe he made too many mistakes and needed this extra equipment to prevent that, but I dont actually know). And you dont either! There are better offices to go to out there. Please seek other options if they are available. Im not the person to critique every place I go, but I knew I had to share my experience. Hopefully it will save you $160.

My husband was referred to this facility because he had to have a root canal & out dentist was not comfortable performing the procedure because it was so close to his nerve. I was nervous for my husband but Dr. Woodard did an excellent job & my husband is pain free thanks to him & his staff. I highly recommend this facility for your dental emergencies. Thanks for making a nervous wife comfortable by taking excellent care of my husband.

Dr. Strand was so wonderful. The root canal that he did was much easy on me than many fillings that I have had in the past. The new techniques he uses are amazing.

I visited Broken Arrow Endodontics today for a root canal procedure with Dr. Strand after first visiting another endodontic specialist in the area that was unable to handle a special circumstance in my treatment. Dr. Strand was so accommodating to my needs and took excellent care of me. He was willing to go above and beyond to ensure I felt no pain or discomfort. I’m truly grateful for this clinic. Dr. Strand is AMAZING! I went to another endodontist before coming here and they just told me they couldn’t do anything to save my tooth and told me to extract it. I came to Dr. Strand for a second opinion because they have better equipment. They took a CBCT scan, Dr. Strand was 100% sure it was savable. He did the root canal and I’ve had no issues at all! The process was quick, easy, and painless. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Dr. Woodard is the best endodontist I have ever had and I have had several. He and his staff, especially Joni, have made me and my spouse feel like we were the only patients they ever had and they made difficult procedures painless, quick and often enlightening. We would never consider going elsewhere.

Doctor Strand and his assistantl/nurse were so nice and accommodating ! They made certain I was relaxed and not in pain from an extremely painful exposed nerve! They fixed the tooth and even made me aware that my “oral surgeon” had made a mistake that needed to be corrected! Without Dr Strand, I would never have known that a “root tip” was left in my skull! So grateful that my general dentist sent me to him! Also, the nurse who helped him was wonderful and made me feel safe! I looked at the bad reviews and all I can say is, take it with a grain of salt. Look through what people are actually upset abou . In my experience, it usually isnt the place being reviewed. I went in for a root canal. I have aspergers and sensory issues. These people were more than accommodating and they didnt even know I have aspergers. The doctor had a very social bedside manner. He took my mind off the fact he was sticking metal instruments in my mouth. He even helped me get through the noises. I highly recommend them.

I had an unexpected need for a root canal and my experience with Dr. Stand and his staff was great! I went in with a lot of pain and was going to come back in a few days for my procedure, but less than 30 minutes after I got home, they called and said they had a cancellation and told me they could do it immediately! They got me in, numbed me up, and got to work quickly. I didnt feel any pain or discomfort. I had them use the gentle wave system to completely clean the canal and I am very happy with my results. It has been two weeks and my mouth feels great. I only had discomfort for a couple of days, which was mainly my jaw being sore from being open for so long, and my gums where they had put a bracket to isolate my tooth. Amazing experience for a root canal.

My husband was referred to them from our dentist. They did their service and he needed another service done the next week. They said they needed payment for today’s service and the next one also. Apparently they are more worried about money than the patient in pain. Do not recommend them.

My husband was recently sent here for a broken tooth. He had been 2 other times for a root canal and crown. The front office lady, which we were told one was the wife, was incredible rude and condescending when asked about payment plans. The other lady rolled her eyes. My husband was recently laid off and it was Christmas time, so we were trying to figure out a way to pay so he didn’t have to be in pain until my HSA kicked in January 1st. How about suggesting Carepay or one of the other financing options out there for healthcare services before degrading someone??!!! ! Our vet even has a payment option!! No need to make someone, especially a former patient, feel worthless because he is down in his luck. I’ll let everyone know to avoid this place!!!

I have had root canal‘s before and they were miserable . Dr. Strand was awesome he made sure that there was no pain and made me feel comfortable with the process. He and his staff are professional and friendly.
