Absolutely a positive environment with the best staff. Everyone is friendly and so attentive to residents and families. Great food! Lots of fun activities! So clean and nicely decorated! They have made visiting your loved ones so easy by creating a user friendly app that even my family members that hate technology can use.

BA Brookdale has been a good living arrangement for our Dad. The caring staff was key to his recuperation after a hospital stay and now hes ready for a more independent lifestyle. The environment is always clean and safe, and very well managed during COVID restrictions. Our sincere thanks to BA Brookdale!

Our family had to find a place for my dad under difficult circumstances in spring 2020, just after the pandemic began. Luckily, an attorney we know recommended Brookdale Broken Arrow, and he was assessed and became a resident quickly. We cant put into words how much we appreciate the quality of care at Brookdale BA. It starts at the top with executive director, Kari Willard, and shines through the faces and actions of every member of her team. They quickly and intuitively established a bond with Dad during the months when we could only talk to him over the phone and consciously built a relationship with my mom, my sister, and me. In-person, in-community visits started up again recently, and our family has received the same loving care that Dad does every day. This is an exceptional assisted living community with strong leadership, a high service orientation, and intuitive staff members who truly love the residents and care about the families. Our peace of mind and gratitude are immense.

This is probably the worst place in the entire country for your loved ones. My mother was just banned from selling my grandmother because of a lack of communication between center employees and family guardian. That is not alright and I will be raising hell with whomever I must to fix this.

Visiting a loved one should not be as hard as it is at Brookdale, especially for someone who isnt super technologically savvy. My aunt tried to visit her dying friend and the process was difficult. To visit a resident, you must download an app and be invited to book an appointment by Brookdale. Neither of us could find the app in the App Store and when each of us called for help, the people at Brookdale couldnt walk us through it (Im 23 and constantly have a phone in my hand and even I couldnt find the answer). Each of us was told that theyd call us back to speak with someone about the problem & book an appointment directly, but they never did. My aunt missed the opportunity to say goodbye to her friend of over 50 years because of this policy.

As a hospice nurse, I have been in and out many assisted living/nursing homes. Brookdale broken arrow is leaps and bounds above the other Brookdale’s and nursing homes. It is the most structured and clean out of all the facilities I have been to since being a hospice nurse, but what makes Brookdale Broken arrow special is the staff. You will not find another facility that will provide your loved ones with the care and compassion that they will receive here. Every resident is treated as family and taken in as one of their own. I know this because they have extended this same love to me as I come in to take care of my patients. It is something I have never experienced while visiting a facility and it has truly left and impression on me, which is why I wrote this review. Kari is the most involved, compassionate, empathetic and proactive administrator I have ever worked with. Most administrators sit in their office  and have no desire to help or show love to the residents that they are lucky to have. She has only hired staff that share her same ideals and have a passion for the elderly. Under her leadership, there is no better place for your loved ones to call home. I am a third party and I do not work for Brookdale

We were very concerned about placing my mom in assisted living due to the need for a 14-day quarantine. We tried having her live with us, but it was just too much.Kari W. and her team did an excellent job of outlining expectations and receiving mom into the community. They work very hard to balance safety and resident care needs.Mom moved in September 22, and is in a clean, safe, healthy, positive and fun environment. A key indicator of this has been the positive attitude of all the various team members such as Abby, Alley, Anne, LaTroya and Paul.We greatly appreciate the weekly communication with the team via video call. I feel confident that my mom is in the best possible living situation for her condition. She is happy, is clean and well fed, has a social network, and enjoys the activities and pets that live there. A huge thank you from our family to Kari the Executive Director for her leadership, and all the staff of Brookdale Broken Arrow!

I have been familiar with this facility for probably ten plus years. I have had the pleasure of assisting seniors with placement and this has been my go-to place for all that time. The staff is devoted, the administration is attentive and the building is lovely. They truly attempt to make their residents feel like this is their home and will do just about anything to accomplish that! They do fun outings, from going to get ice cream to looking at fall foliage. Schools and churches will come to the building for activities, which the residents enjoy. Most recently, the facility hosted Trick or Treating and I dont know who enjoyed it more-the kids or the residents. I am always confident when I place a senior at Brookdale Broken Arrow that they will receive excellent, compassionate care.

Brookdale is a beautiful place. However Shawna in the front office is extremely disrespectful. And, unfortunately it discredits the whole community. Very distasteful.

Our mother was in Brookdale recently with severe dementia/Alzheimers and my siblings and I could not of been happier with all aspects of Brookdale. All members of the staff really provide outstanding care. The food is good; the place is clean and attractive, and the attempts to keep the residents engaged on a daily basis is outstanding. Billing was as expected and any requests were handled immediately. 5 starts for Brookdale

I would highly recommend Brookdale of Broken Arrow to anyone looking for extended care for a loved one. I admitted both my parents in July of 2015. They cared for my father until he passed in July of 2016 and are still caring for my 90 year old mother. The facility was not perfect when I first moved them in and Brookdale went through a couple directors from 2013 till now. Kari Willard has been the director here for the last ten months and has made great improvements in the areas of my concern in the past. Kari is a very hands on Director with the employees the residents and the families of the residents, and is very pleasant to work with. Anyone looking for a place to take care of their loved one, should check Brookdale out before making a choice.

Mom moved to Brookdale Broken Arrow the summer of 2016. Up until recently she was on Assisted Living side and other than a few bumps in the beginning, adjusted pretty well. The staff at the AL has become like family to us. They have always done everything in their power to make Mom and us feel comfortable and we never worried about her. Recently things have changed dramatically due to Moms condition and we are transitioning to Memory care. Though its difficult on the family, I am humbled and appreciative with how things have been handled in this tough time. Everyone is full of compassion and care and I sleep easier at night knowing they are there for Mom and us.

Earlier this year, my wife and I had to place her mother in a memory care facility. Our experience with the first facility was very poor as the quality of care, administration and security was inadequate. Consequently, we moved her to the Brookdale Broken Arrow facility and everything was 180 degrees to the better and it made a tough situation with her mother’s condition the best it could be under the circumstances. ALL staff (health care, administration, food service, maintenance, etc.) at ALL times were very professional, personable, responsive, considerate and sincerely caring for the health and well being of her mother. The patient was very challenging and did some things they had not previously experienced, but no one ever said one negative thing they just immediately adjusted where necessary and moved forward with a positive attitude. The level of care, communication, cooperation and performance was excellent and we could not thank or commend the entire staff enough for their fine service in all regards! We could name several staff that were excellent, but especially Anne Welch, Cory and Kari the Executive Director are highlighted. Kari runs a well oiled operation, has set high standards, has excellent communication skills, is responsive, considerate, puts the care of her patients at the highest level and went above and beyond in ensuring excellent services for my mother in law, my wife and me. We highly recommend Brookdale Broken Arrow.

My mom has been at Clare Bridge (the Alzheimers building at Brookdale, Broken Arrow, OK for three and a half years. Being an Alzheimers family was a new experience for us. The staff was very nice from the beginning, and answered our questions, helped us get Mom situated, and was there from the start helping her to get acclimated. Our mom was age 75 when she moved in. The move took some time for her to process, and there was a bit of a transition. But, as she slowly declined mentally, we saw as a family, that the move was appropriate for the future. We have loved Clare Bridge!!! They are respectful of the residents, very friendly and truly care for our Mom. When I arrive at the building, the receptionist lets me in, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The building has plenty of room for walking and several hallways with interesting pictures, and personal shadow boxes near each residents door. The display cases tell about the persons professional life, family and hobbies. Very informative and endearing, and we have had a great time walking the halls with our Mom talking about all that we see. The residents are all very nice, and if someone moves in who is rather difficult to handle, the staff will address it promptly in a timely manner. All of the support staff on the floor give 110%, and the nurses and assistants who dispense the medicines are very careful, conscientious with their duties. My husband and I visit once every 2 months, and we have met other families helping their loved ones, gives the feel of a team effort. We share our ideas, our ways of handling our loved ones in respect to the disease, laughter and tears combined. My siblings and I (there are 4 of us) each try and take a small part of Moms care to ease the burden. We are all very pleased with Brookdale. You will be very happy with this location! (The Assisted Living is called Sterling House and the Alzheimers building is Clare Bridge :) I very much encourage you to try this location. The director and assistant director have responded quickly in communicating with me, whenever I have had a need or question. Occasionally they will send a darling picture of Mom or a video, since I live out of state. Sincerely, T.R.
