Honestly Im here now unfortunately. The staff here has been good for the most part,some have been incredibly great, others have been absolutely terrible. Same with the other guests. Theres so much drama here, and thats the last thing that I ever wanted trying to raise my 3 year old son on my own. Im the only Male in a all woman family shelter, and and also my son is the only boy here also,they all have female children as well. Which in and of itself would be perfectly ok,except that the female children, both older than my son continually pick on him,and they team up too. Now the moms are picking on both of us as well. There is one woman in particular who has lived here for well over a year. And ironically she seems to be the one that starts all the trouble. Her name is Mary and she controls the entire shelter. This should absolutely not be allowed under Massachusetts law. I have contacted the staff on several occasions, for the most part they have been very helpful. But like I said, Im new here and trying to do everything right. I love my son more than anything in this world, I just want to raise him to be a good man. I have never had to rely on public assistance before, Ive always worked. Unfortunately I have fallen on hard times recently mostly due to COVID 19. But people like this girl Mary,that leeches off the system for 2 years at a family shelter even though she drives a Cadillac Escalade....the system is broken!!..

Family shelter helping everyone in need..its A Home Away from home and everyone gets treated the same.. highly recommended
