Probably the worst eye exam I’ve ever had. He took all of 10 minutes to tell me the complete opposite of what I’ve had a prescription for the last 23 years of my life. I only went here instead of my regular eye doctor, because I wouldn’t have to take time off of work, but I won’t make that mistake again.

Front desk receptionist was rude and unprofessional ! I had a scheduled apt with a reminder text however the girl at the front could not find my apt or info that was submitted via email /online . Even after I showed my confirmation text and email I had to wait for a new apt Not only where they unorganized, the rudeness I received was unprofessional. The doctor was good, efficient, and respectful however I wouldn’t recommend this place because of the service I received from the check in receptionist.

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses. Received the call that my glasses were ready for pick up. When I arrived to the office I was told that they messed up on the prescription lens and that it would require for them to remake them. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for a new glasses. I requested rush remake because of an upcoming trip, but that got denied. Definitely not using them again.

Ordered eye contacts 6 weeks ago. Still no arrival. Prior to appointment, the DOCTOR was very rude and rushed. The DOCTOR would not answer simple questions, and instead stated that their staff would be able to provide the necessary services (for a question?). After dealing with the STAFF, I figured my argument was met with the same results. SPEND THE MONEY YOU PAY FOR INSURANCE ELSEWHERE!!!!)!

First time using this company. Went to go pick up my 2 glasses and this happened when I got home. I was just showing my husband and then POP. Just bummed. Thankfully I got two pairs. Hopefully they can fix it. The weird part was that these were the expensive pair.

Pretty disappointing experience I had over the phone. All I wanted was my prescription information for my contact lens. My only options to acquire them were pick up in person or fax. Respectfully, its 2021 and people seldom use fax anymore.

I had never been to America’s best before and I absolutely loved it! I will never go back to where I used to go. This location was close to home and easy to book an appointment. The best part was the customer service. I know how hard it can be to deal with people but these ladies and Dr. did such a great job. Everyone was super nice, professional and patient. I felt real comfortable and the prices are amazing! They have such a good deal going on right now. I will recommend everyone I know to go here! Thank you ladies and gentlemen so much! You are all appreciated.

I had a wonderful experience here from the moment I came in to the moment I left. Dr. Palmer was absolutely amazing. I’ve had trouble in the past at different eye doctors with getting a prescription, and Dr. Palmer not only heard me and my needs, but was also easy to talk to and connect with. Ronda was so lovely and helped me make sure I had frames I liked that would work well for me. Overall, fantastic experience. Would highly recommend.

I’ve always gone here for contacts and glasses. They’re pretty reasonably priced. My complaint is that I was charged an extra fee of $88 this time for what they called a “contact fitting fee”. I’ve had contacts for 17 years so I know how to put them in and no one even asked if I knew how to. This was a bogus charge just to get more money from me.

I called after a week to inquire about my glasses because I hadn’t received a call to pick them up. I was informed that they were backed up due to COVID which I understand but I’m sure they already know that when they schedule appointments. I was assured that I would get a call when my glasses arrived. Almost three weeks later I called again and was toldmy glasses were there and I never received a call. Overall the people who work there were nice but I am posting this in hopes that their corporate office will see this and they can work on better communication with customers because the person who took my call had a “ not my problem “ attitude which didn’t help at all. I won’t go back to the Brighton location again.

I have been 3 times in the past 3 weeks for myself, my son and my husband. I have gotten the same excellent service and help by the staff all 3 times. I received my glasses in a timely minor and was not pressured to upsell at any time. My family and I couldnt be more pleased with the staff and the service. We are life long customers! Thank you!

The girl who checked me out after my exam and everything was super nice. She was new and took a few seconds to do everything, but she helped me figure out my insurance and was very kind and patient with me. I really adored her and will continue to go back just because she was so sweet. 10/10 customer service m

This is a crazy time to be getting glasses, but here I be getting glasses in the middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic! They were very good with sanitation between patients in the exam area! I went there because of the commercial offering two pairs for $69.95 and a free eye exam. Living on Disability and medicare unfortunately doesnt offer vision benefits, and elsewhere it will cost you both arms, both legs, and then some pressure on your wallet. I will update this review when I return in two weeks to get my specs, but from what I can tell theyre pretty good glasses. They are true to their word, $69.95 and a free exam. Im excited about getting new glasses!

The Doctor was friendly and informative the staff was also polite, my issue is that my insurance was not pulled correctly. My husband and I went in for an exam and eyeglasses he had never gotten glasses before and hadn’t had an exam in years. I have been wearing glasses for years and have had the same insurance for years my husband is now the primary on our insurance. I noticed something was off when I was asked if I wanted a warranty and our insurance comes with one when I mentioned it the woman going over our insurance looked again and said it’s covered. I was asked if I wanted coating on my lenses for an additional cost and I stated that I thought it was covered by insurance and she told me it’s not and there are no discounts I asked if something changed and she said that’s what it said on her sheet of paper. Meanwhile my husband was with another person next to me clueless and just agreeing. When we got home I checked the insurance again myself and I was we were covered for both UV and scratch resistance at not charge as well as transition lenses. I gave the info to my husband to call them and he was told that they couldn’t change our insurance and that it was up to the insurance company to update things they can only click what they have the option for. This was all bull because what I pulled up was from January 2020 and we went in on February 5,2020. My daughter had also gone in a couple of weeks before us she is a college student and is on our insurance and magically she got all of her benefits. Needless to say we won’t be going back and I am very upset that I now have a pair of plain plastic glasses with no UV protection and nothing protecting against damage and for the record they were reading the insurance info off of a piece of paper not a computer screen so the woman saying they only click on what they have the option for made no sense. Do better America’s Best when you pay for high option you want what you paid for insurance.

All of the staff were friendly and they tried to help us a bunch. The doctor was friendly too. I asked for a prescription to check for other places because my daughter was being picky and they had no problem with it. We have another appt tomorrow with my oldest and of course we will be in to order the glasses we should have ordered today.

Must buy frames AND lenses, cannot bring old lenses to buy new frames for them because their frames are specially designed not to fit lenses from any other manufacturer. How is this the best? It is intrinsically American, but not the best.

Dr. Palmer is by far the best Optometrist I have ever been to. She is ecstatic about her job allowing her to show care towards patients. She identified some issues that no other O.D. has noticed simply by asking the right questions. She is clear and concise in her explanation and conscious of patient response. Highly recommended!

I had A Very unprofessional experience. I dont recommend this place. It also dont help that their receptionist that are in the front dont speak English very well and dont know about hipaa laws. They really need to work on that and they should hire some people that speak English and understand how insurance works. Just a awful experience with the ladies up front. GO ELSEWHERE!

I found the staff to be very nice and friendly. I went last year and had a wonderful Dr. This year the Dr was not so wonderful. He did not have eye contact with me and was very impatient when I would look at the screen and asked 1 or 2 is better and they both looked the same. He would go which is better and repeat it very impatient. Not sure I will go back. This young Dr had no patience.

Really, I dont know why this place has so many negative reviews. The people there were friendly and fairly helpful. If you go in with reasonable expectations about their deals, its really pretty good. The wait times were average. Little long for someone to help with the frames... And there were a couple people that might have been able to help, but they were doing other things like signs and stocking. One downside is their waiting area. The chairs/benches are metal and really not that comfortable. One upside, the place was pretty clean.

Just finished with my appt. there. I am thoroughly impressed! The doctor diagnosed my issue when no other doctor did in my entire life. Unfortunately my prescription wont allow me to get a great deal but the people were great! Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because I dont have my glasses yet. I WILL be going back.

She was so patient and helpful with me and had a beautiful attitude for me to start my week with and I really appreciate that. Glasses got trashed in Gunnison Colorado.Was told my prescription was out of date. The Americans best in Brighton Colorado said the doctor could make the choice whether to let me use the prescription in Montrose Colorado.This was an emergency situation.The lady at the Brighton office said she would have the Dr call me back that day. That never happened. I am very blind without my glasses.Finally after two weeks I called back and the Dr authorized the prescription. Now at long last I can have glasses in two hours made the same day in Montrose Colorado .Thanks one hour eye docs in Montrose.

Its sad that you need to write a negative review in order to get anything done in terms of customer servicemy wife went in to get a eye exam and new glasses and they did the eye exam and the doctor said that she was in between 2 prescriptions so they went to the higher prescription and after receiving her new glasses they immediately made her nauseous and gave her a headache she tried to tell them, they told her she was wrong and that she would adjust. she didnt. my wife then proceeded to make a follow up appointment that was rescheduled for a time that wife couldnt make it to because the doctor wanted to leave early that day still no resolve on this issue been a americas best customer for kver 10 years never going back

Had my appt at 1020 am. Was told to be present early to fill out paperwork(arrived at 1005). It is now 1045 and I still have not been seen. This place is rediculous. No one has even said anything, when I asked was told I would be seen shortly. I’m now walking out.

Went in for an eye exam and contacts over two weeks ago.Exam ended up costing $40 more than I expected. I informed Marleny that my insurance covers all but $10.00, and she told me my info was faulty. My insurance recommended this location. Should have only been charged $10.00.I ordered a 6 mo supply of contacts, and two weeks later get a call that they’re in. My wife goes to pick up the contacts, and it’s one pair. When she asked where the rest were, the employee was rude and had no idea what she was talking about. I’ve lost the left from the trial pair, and now I have to wait another two weeks to see. This is BS. I didn’t want another trial pair. Now I can’t see. Again. As soon as my order is fulfilled, I will NEVER set foot in this place again. The staff are inept and rude.Save your money, go somewhere better.

I went in at the beginning of the year. Customer service was great however my exam was done in less than 10 minutes. A week later I get a call my glasses are in, I paid about $200+ for them. I go in and didn’t go with my vision at all. I was told I need to adjust, so I wore them for about two weeks and still I couldn’t see correctly and my eyes hurt when I used them. I called back and they said they would call back and they never did. Hopefully I can take my frames in somewhere else, they were expensive.

Great place to get cheap glasses but not contacts. Was rushed through my contacts appointment, didnt have a sample for me to try and so I had to order. I hate the contacts I have now but cant afford to get new ones. And my prescription went down but I still see better out of my old glasses than I do my new contacts. I will be going elsewhere for contacts next time but for glasses they are fine.

I had made an appointment online and was happy with the convenience and prices , however when I called to confirm my appointment I was put on hold for over 7 minutes and then when I asked any questions regarding my appointment I was treated very rude as if my questions were inconveniencing them and when I thanked her for her help she hung up on me, I called and asked to speak with a manger to let them know I will not make my appointment and I rather pay more and travel further to have good service.Very disappointing

I have gone to them for 4 years now. I have bad vision, and like stylish frames - they are cost-effective and know how to use my vision benefits to the best advantage. They have always been well-staffed when I have been in for my appointments, and quickly get me through the process. I will keep going back!

If i could give you guys 0 stars that would be amazing!!! I’m writing this on behalf of my spouse. He Made an appt with you guys in Brighton, mind you he lives in Denver, just to be told we don’t know what’s wrong with you go to this other place. They rushed him out as soon as possible because he scheduled his appt around 6pm and they closed soon. Anyways, he got in there and they said that they weren’t able to give him a glasses prescription, but we’re somehow able to give him a contact prescription. His vision is 20/40. They just said “yea, I don’t know, just go these guys and they’ll help you more.” They said that!!!!! Like you can’t prescribe something and you have the audacity to push him out of the office?!?! No wonder you guys have the worst reviews I’ve ever seen. You deserve it.

The company is a great company I got my glasses faster then expected and for a good price the doctor was super nice but most of the girls there are really rude and very unprofessional only one of the girls was really nice and heleped me with everything I needed I should have got her name she was great. All the other girls were just sitting around on their phones talking about their personal life really loud. Hope you guys can get some good employees in there and not rude ones it was a bad experience to have to come across them. Other then that everything was okay.

I gave it a one star because it wouldn’t let me give it a zero!I took my glasses in for an adjustment because they were digging into my ear. The kid who “adjusted” them made it worse and also cut the nose pad! He gave them back after “cleaning” them and they were so smeared I couldn’t see out of them clearly. Another person “adjusted” my son’s glasses. They now skew to the right so badly he has gone back to using his broken glasses because they fit better. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

I asked them to price match Walmart for contacts, they looked it up on the spot and gave me a great deal. They also gave me a pair to wear while I waited for mine to come in. However, the eye exam was too brief, especially for the price. I wouldnt get an exam there again, but Ill be back to purchase contacts. Friendly people, great deals.

We made an appointment a week in advance. We showed up 10 minute before our scheduled appointment. After checking in a man came in with no appointment. He was seen before my son. I had to complain to get them to actually even see my son. Over 30 min past his schedule appointment. So I guess if you just walk in you can be seen before people who have appointments. We went to the Brighton location.

Disappointed. I paid for reflective coating on my glasses so there is not a glare on them, but there is a huge glare! I compared them to the other glasses I have from another company without the reflective coating on them, and the two I purchased from Americas Best are worse... so either they did not put the coating on like they said and still charged me, or, their coating really, really sucks and does not work. Either way, its a bummer because Im stuck with three pairs of glasses that all have a really bad glare :/

The girl that helped me was so slow she didnt even know what she was doing.I need glasses but walked out because she couldnt even answer my simple questions. Store is tuff to find. You do have to park kiddie corner of Heidis deli and walk up to the front (on the main street) but customer service is nice. From start to finish. Be careful to ask questions on the Xtras they sell you. the way its worded you can sound confusing and you will end up paying tad more. I do recommend getting the protection on glasses. I had pair break and it was a easy process for replacement.

Awful service! I was told my insurance was in network and planned my whole day around a 3pm appointment. Then, at about 3:30, they rudely said I would have to call my insurance company and verify I was in- network. Then the receptionist said I wasn’t really in-network but they would still see me. Yeah, right, not falling for that and getting a surprise bill. I wish there was an option for zero stars!

I went into this Americas best this year for contacts...which i have never used contacts before...i was really nervous to use them but the staff members that i was working with were very helpful and made me feel confident that i could do it and that it would be easy once i had a little bit of practice which they were right cuz now Im like a pro... Also as soon as i walked in the staff was very friendly, happy, & willing to assist me with whatever my needs were and i didnt have to wait even a second before someone asked me how they could help me. All my questions about my insurance were answered and all the staff was very very knowledgeable...i will recommend this Americas best in brighton to all my friends and family....Ohhhhhh and one more thing i could never forget i ordered my contacts on Monday and a staff member called me on Wednesday telling me they were ready. Absolutely phenomenal service......

I will never go here again nor would I recommend this company to anyone. Took my whole family for exams and glasses. My husband had a pair of brand name frames that we purchased somewhere else. (very expensive) that he wanted to put his prescription in. This is in addition to the rest of the family’s exams and glasses we purchased from this place I was told they got sent out to the lab but never made it back to the store. They never called to tell us they were in I had to call them and when we went to pick them up they tried to hand him just the lenses with no frame. What the hell are we supposed to do with just the lenses. Nobody in the place can tell me what happen to my very expensive frames and they don’t want to refund me what I paid for them. They won’t even give me the number to the lab where they supposedly sent them. THEY ARE THEIFS!! They could not answer any of the questions I asked all they kept saying was I’m sorry! Yes they are! A sorry company! Do not shop at America’s Best! They Suck!!!
