I had an appointment here and my person said he would call my parents and never did. Also made an appointment and they said I wasn’t on there and we confirmed the appointment before we left and had to reschedule. Very small hot place wasn’t good whatsoever

Love Christie Powell, she helped me so much with my anxiety and depression throughout and after my pregnancy. She is very knowledgeable and understanding. She has great techniques for coping and resources.

I have seen Christie Powell for anxiety and panic attacks. I wouldn’t recommend her for anxiety disorders. She seemed really nice but not at all knowledgeable about anxiety. Maybe she is knowledgeable about other disorders? She was recommended to me by a doctor after my first panic attacks ever happened during this pandemic. I have gotten myself out and over the anxiety but I would say if you are struggling with panic and anxiety find someone who specifically specializes in that field only.

I have only been to one appointment but my therapist is really nice. I have been nervous to see a therapist for a while but she was really caring and answered my questions. I will be going again and I am happy that it went so well but I cant put 5 stars yet because I have only been once

I have been going to Dr. Christensen for several months and he is very insightful in helping me deal with several life changing issues. I have needed counseling several times long term in my life. I have had educated and non-educated, caring and non-caring, interested in my outcome, not interested in my outcome. Also counselors who told me what I need to hear, and also ones that told me what I wanted to hear. Dr. Christensen tells me what I need to hear which I am thankful for because otherwise how can I make change. The staff is always very kind, helpful and accommodating. They are good therapists and thats why they have a full schedule. They are definitely worth the wait if you truly want assistance.

I am not LDS and I would be very offended if any doctor tried to push their religion on me. I have found Dr. John Christensen to be one of the best informed, open minded, dedicated doctors I have ever met. He is up to date with the latest research and technology concerning the brain and how it functions. I would highly recommend him to anyone. P.S. He has never pushed anything religious or otherwise and has been nothing but genuinely concerned and insightful.

I have been to three different psychologists over the past five years, and Dr. Christensen is by far the best doctor I have ever had. Not only did he take time out of his vacation to contact me, he works from morning till night. I can tell he cares about me and all his patients. I am not LDS, but I have felt no religious pressure in his office whatsoever. He is an A+ doctor! I would recommend him to anyone!

Honestly, Ive never written a bad review, and I cant say anything about the therapists because Ive never seen them. I made an appointment, they called and cancelled because the counselor had something come up. ..understandable right? ! So I called back to make another appointment and the two appointments she had offered me in the message she had left... had already been filled. So I scheduled another one (2 weeks out) I showed up for my appointment (I live 30 min away) and they didnt have me on the schedule. Then she acts like Im the crazy one! Dealing with these people would make anyone need therapy! I think Ill be finding a new place.

I love the therapists there, but the same can not be said about the receptionist. Every time I call, it goes to voicemail. Its very frustrating.

John Christensen literally saved my life! I didnt know how bad my clinical depression was and didnt really believe in therapy before I met John. he convinced me that I needed to go to the hospital for psychiatric treatment which I desprately needed. That with continued therapy at Associated Psyc has gotten me back on my feet and feeling optimistic about life again. Thank you Mr. Christensen!

I have personally been to several doctors here and they are ALL horrible. Maybe they can provide some benefit to LDS members (using religious BS, not actual science) but if you are not Mormon STAY AWAY.
