Becky was the lead dietitian at the Renfrew of Brentwood, TN during my time there in 2018. She led various groups and ate many meals with us. At one of my last meals when I was struggling, she told me that if I didnt finish my food she would report back to my team and they would consider discharging me early (I was supposed to discharge two days from then and had been doing my best to eat every meal/snack up to that point). Threats and shaming are not tools that further anyone in recovery. If you want a compassionate dietitian for your eating disorder struggles, Becky is not that. She is knowledgable in her field, yes, but knowledge alone does not make a empathetic dietitian.
