I felt immediate results in the pain disappearing!Here’s the backstory. I have a treatment plan for a foot neuropathy issue, and did 15 sessions. Then I had to leave town for 4 weeks. In 2017, I walked into City of Bridges Chiropractic with intense pain through my shoulder and arm. It was so bad that I couldnt sleep or focus. Dr. Alex and Dr. Mario assessed the situation and placed me on a 3-month treatment. With a combination of adjustments as well as home exercises, the bones pinching the nerve that caused the pain through my arm straightened out--no more pain!Now, I continue to visit COB twice a month to continue my healing. We became patients at City of Bridges a little over a year ago. I felt very listened to and was relieved to have someone to talk to about our struggles. He adjusted her very gently and let me know everything he was doing. I think the greatest testimony to this is my daughter, even at 2 years old, has never hesitated to jump up on the table and be adjusted.After her first adjustment, I buckled her into her car seat afterwards and she looked at me and said “Mommy.. I just so tired.” She had never given me sleep cues before. And she fell asleep on the way home! That NEVER happened! She immediately began napping a few times a week, almost always on adjustment days, which meant I got a mental break during the day. Her night time progress was slow but very steady. We saw improvement immediately, but we also had set backs. Each time, Dr Alex asked many questions and would modify her treatments. She was not a simple case and I know he was researching and preparing for her between visits, which meant everything to me as her mom.Within a few months, she went from an average of 5 times awake a night having one bad night a week, and now those are very rare. My husband and I began having normal sleep cycles again, and I stopped having anxiety about going to bed. We didn’t even realize what zombies we had been until we saw the difference!I began to be adjusted regularly a few months into my daughter’s treatment, and I still go regularly. At this point the entire family have been adjusted by Dr Alex, and my boys will even request an adjustment sometimes.It took reaching our wits’ end to schedule care with Dr Alex. Who knows what could have been different if we had our daughter adjusted from birth? I am so thankful for his care for my children and my family. He cares for the wellbeing of my babies like they are his own. And my next baby will be seeing him as fresh as possible.Dr Alex listens, and cares, about my and my family’s wellbeing at every appointment and he is always available to me in between appointments if something comes up- which it has, kids are kids and get their bumps. There’s no reason to wait to spend time with someone who not only cares about you, but can help you feel better.

After I started working at a desk full time, I began to have a lot of discomfort with my right shoulder blade. I went to Dr. Alex for an 18- week treatment, and now go about twice a month for tune ups to keep things in order. I have had a significant amount of relief, and gained more understanding of my own body. Dr. Alex is very professional and friendly. While he is also a part of Maximized Living, I do not participate in those programs, and he does not push me to do so, which I really appreciate. His initial consultations only require 2-3 xrays, as opposed to 1-12 with other doctors, who cash in on the fees. As a patient, you will schedule a general day and time for adjustments, and come in around that time with other people. Its first-come-first-serve in your general time frame, but each visit is very fluid with minimal idle time spent waiting. If I suddenly have to work long hours, I can simply call the office and let them know what other day and time Id like to come in. I definitely recommend him.

Let me share with you a story that will explain my 5 star rating for City of Bridges Chiropractic/Dr. Alex.My wife just had a baby ( emergency C-section) three weeks early. Our daughter was 5 pounds and the doctors were struggling with her size and weight loss. Personally, we were extremely skeptical of the doctors diagnosis/concerns and did not want to harm our daughter with unnecessary supplements. We didnt have anywhere to turn but Dr. Alex. He gave us his personal cell phone number and told us to call any time day or night.As our stay lengthen because of doctors differing opinions and a failed car seat test (she needed to be in the seat for 90 mins and she lasted 88), Dr. Alex offered and came to West Penn hospital to adjust our daughter and my wife. This act of kindness, which was truly a blessing to my wife and I, brings me to tears as I write this.How many of you out there can say this about your doctor? Dr. Alex really cares about you and your health. I dont trust doctors with my health, but I do trust Dr. Alex.

Dr. Alex, his staff, and family are stellar. Becoming a City of Bridges chiropractic patient five years ago is the best decision that I have ever made. When I walked through the door the very first time, I was on blood pressure meds, anti-depressants, 30 pounds heavier, and struggled to walk due to lower back and hip pains. Fast forward to 2018 and each of those ailments are no longer present. What is even more remarkable is that in 2017, in a span of 8 months, I was a victim of three car accidents and I am still able to enjoy my biggest passion - bellydancing.
