My first time I took my dog to just see how she would react to be around dogs for a full day. She did amazing, and the I boarded her last week since I went to my vacation she loved it kept calling for updates and I am amazed on how they took care of her for the time I was out. She loved the time she spent there with all the other dogs and the staff. The place has lots of areas where dogs can play and enjoy their time. Thank yall so much and to anyone reading this this place is amazing recommend it!

My Lab Buddy had fun! His first time out of the house and he made two friends over at the retreat which I am now calling it Camp Snoopy to my Buddy. From being a little monster at home he is now relaxed , calm and looks like he has even picked up some manners when brought home! I bought the package for 10 days because he will be going there a lot. I am so glad I found this place, and they even send you photos to your phone or email address of your dog having fun, I think more if you leave him for a few days but if you dropped him off for 8 hours Im sure they will send you some photos if you ask. Excellent pick up hours! I do recommend the retreat to everyone!

We couldn’t have been happier! It was our first trip away from our pups (2.5 & 1 yrs old), and I was sooooo nervous. When I first arrived, I met Colt the owner. I wasn’t expecting it, but he gave me a tour of the place…….I was honestly blown away. The place is huge, so much room & activities for the dogs to do. While we were gone I called just to check in, and the staff were more than happy to talk with me and give me an update. Not that the dogs talk to me (well, maybe they do every now & then), but if they did they would’ve told me that they loved it at the Derty Dog!!!

Been going here for months, my dog and i love it. He runs in and has a blast.

Our dog, Groot, always has a great time at Derty Dog. We know the staff takes good care of him and we receive updates as well as a report card. Excellent customer service since our visit in 2019.

🐾This place is the best! The staff is super nice & they sure do take care of our doggies. They do an awesome job. I have a St. Bernard & a daschund & my daughter has a corgi & she takes her dog there too. They enjoy going there that they just know where to go & they have fun with all the other dogs. I really like how you can follow them on FB & I see pics. of my dogs too having a great time! I like how they take time to do special surprises as well. Like pics in a paper frame & paw print ornaments. Thank you guys @ Derty Dog your an awesome bunch! 🐾🐶

The workouts on the treadmills are awesome. My dog loves running full speed and there is no other way for me to get him such a great workout. I have used DD several times and it has been a good experience.

We didnt know what to to expect going in but they took good care of our American Bulldog (Chester). They do a great job of finding the right area to place your dog. Staff was nice and welcoming. We will be using them again.

Our pups are 11 months old and we have complete peace of mind knowing they are in the care of Haley, Colt and the Derty Dog Family. They send updates and make themselves available for check-ins. We got caught in some bad traffic coming back from Tahoe and they went out of their way on a holiday weekend so that we could pick up our pups later than expected. So grateful for good people. 💕

You will not find another place like this. They have tons of space for play and are great about giving each dog what they need. My dog has a very unique personality and he loves it here. I wouldnt take him anywhere else.

Love the place. My dogs love the place. Not a sterile bank of cement kennnels. Our old dogs sleep on the sofas in the office. They enjoy The treadmills— our oldest is 16! Acts like a puppy.Sorry about the dog that got out- Some dogs just bolt.

The owners *get* dogs. This isnt a sterile petsmart type daycare, but rather they give the option of having your dogs run on a treadmill, play in the yards, whatever. Its awesome. My dogs dig the treadmills- I want one for my house! Weve boarded our dogs here and take them fairly regularly. For the price and the experience, you cant possibly find something better. The only reason I didnt rate 5 stars is the aesthetics of the place- its down home rustic and could potentially be a turn-off for folks (but dont let it be, trust me)!!

How do you lose a dog, especially a large one? How do you not do everything in your power to find her? Yes, word is getting around... UPDATE: The beautiful dog they were caring for was found around the corner from their place deceased after being hit by a car. One of these reviews said they get dogs. Yes, they get dogs lost or dead. Now well all move on to Yelp....

Derty Dog Canine Retreat is a great place to let your dogs energy escape and be released in a positive way by doing so creating a stronger bond between owner/handler and dog and allows your friend to be set up for success by freeing the built up energy that usually developes bad habits. A good dog is a tired dog 😉👌

We have been sending our Chorkie there for two years now. I love that the dogs are outside all day. They are in large cages but those are outside. They have many superstar play areas and let the dogs be dogs! Most other boarding places only let the dog out for 15 mins a day or they charge you more. Derty Dogs allows your pet to be outside all day. I love that for my Chorkie who loves to be outside. This is such a good choice!!!
