Best trainer Ive ever met. Would recommend to anyone!

My dog Henry absolutely loves going to Alert for daycare and boarding! ❤️ He gets so excited to see his doggie friends when we pull in the parking lot! 🐾😂

Ryan and crew are amazing. They really care about the well-being of the dogs. I did the group training classes and it helped tremendously. I now routinely do doggie daycare and my dog couldnt be happier. I recommend Alert K9 to anyone with a dog

I highly recommend Alert K-9! Ryan and his team are amazing! We have a young golden retriever. After our initial assessment with Ryan we opted for 4 weeks Board and Train due to our schedule. We have 2 small children so this seemed to work best for us. During the 4 weeks we received updates on progress. On pick up day it was absolutely amazing to see how far our boy has come. Our lives have completely changed for the better. Before training we were living in complete chaos. Ryan has given us the tools we need to keep moving forward. We will continue to use Alert K-9 for continuing education/training, boarding and daycare. I honestly can’t thank them enough. Amazing team!

Just went for a consultation with Ryan for my aggressive dog. I learned alot in just a short amount of time. He showed me a of couple things on how to handle my unruly large dog. I can walk him now with no pulling. Before my hands would hurt from walking him because hes huge and it felt like I was the one being walked. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable. However, I was most compelled to write a review not solely about his knowledge but about his honesty. My dog has been very aggressive for the past 3 years. He was realistic about what he observed and given my dogs history that he may always be aggressive but could definitely improve his obedience which would help me in alot of other areas. He also recommended that I find someone in my area that could work more often with me snd my dog (Im an hour and 15 mins away from K9 Alert). While I was there he reached out to a couple people in my area that he recommended. Very good experience. I would recommend anyone in the Brentwood area who needs help with their dog to definitely check this place out.

Alert K-9 is by far the BEST place to take your dog for training. Ryan trains the owners too. He is patient, very knowledgeable and very kind. I took my now deceased lab there for training 10 years ago, was the best dog I’ve ever had! Now I’ve taken my new baby and already he’s doing well. Can’t recommend Alert and Ryan enough!

I bought my K9 in a few days ago for orientation. Ryan was very knowledgeable, thorough, and detail oriented with his explanations and suggestions. My dog has had no training whatsoever and Ryan did a few behavioral corrections during the 45 minute evaluation and my K9 responded immediately.Upon our return to our home we noticed a change in our dog that we attribute to the positive reinforcement she received from Alert K9 under Ryans direction. I highly recommend Alert K9. If your dog wont come to you (when you call), it should be coming to Alert K9.

Ryan and his team are awesome! My puppy was reacting to Ryans commands within minutes of meeting him and has improved drastically with his basic commands in just a couple months. We look forward to bringing him back so we can learn how to train our pup :)

Anyone looking for someone to take amazing care of there Dogs either for daycare, boarding or training. Hands down this is the best place to take care of your fur children. Ryan and Meegan have taken care of My German Shepherd Sadie and now my new German Shepherd Coors. They also take care of my sons Golden Retriever Max. I wouldnt trust my animals with anyone else and recommend them to everyone.

Our Bentley has been going to Ryan and the great Alert K9 staff for 8 years now. He goes for everything.. his favorite is daycare! Ryan is the BEST trainer, and it is up to the Owner to make sure to keep her dog in check :) Bentley and Ryan will both agree!! I tell everyone about how much we love daycare, training and of course boarding!

My Maisie is four years old now and has been going to Alert K-9 since she was three months old, I knew absolutely nothing about caring for dogs before I met Ryan, but with his help and all the other staff my dog today is well trained and so am I. I have boarded her there several times sometimes for a month while I went out of the country, and for six months while I was very ill, a part of that one of the staff even took her in without charging me a penny. I am so grateful to Megan, Ryan, Denise and Brittney. My dog and I consider them our family. As for training your dog you can not get a better teacher than Ryan, lastly the facility is clean, spacious and plenty of of grounds for the dogs to run.

Absolutely the best! We love this place! We feel like family here and its no wonder we drive 3 cities over to have our pup spend time here with boarding, training, and doggie day care. They are fantastic! Best decision weve ever made training with Ryan and his wonderful staff!

We recently completed basic puppy training at Alert K9. Our experience was fantastic. Ryan and his team were extremely professional and have mastered the art of teaching puppies AND THEIR HUMAN PARENTS how to follow instructions. While this class is not a socializing with other puppies experience, we found that having our 5 month old Labradoodle around 13 other dogs, (ranging In size from tiny 4 lb breeds to very large puppies close to 100 lbs) was an added positive experience.Our primary goal was to learn how to train our dog to walk on a loose leash, calmly by our sides without pulling. By the end of the class we had accomplished this challenging feat, along with several other new positive behaviors. We highly recommend puppy training with Ryan and will be back for continuing education very soon.

I can’t say enough about Ryan and Alert K9 as a whole. We walked in feeling like our dog was out of control and left in 45 mins with some minor homework that change everything. Of course there’s more to it and it’s a process that we are still working on but I’m happy to say we have restored order back into our home with our fur babies.The daycare is a great way to socialize and Ryan takes time to see and evaluate each dog as often as possible. He just has a way with these guys and the owners 😉.I’d highly recommend them!

Ryan, Meegan and all the staff with Alert K9 are wonderful. After trying many other options we finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Ryan is direct and straight forward in his techniques. Now we have multiple neighbors who are all clients of Alert K9. Its fun to share success stories at the dog park.

Ryan and his crew have been fantastic in helping us turn around the difficulties we were having with our dog who was a rescue. We love our dog but it was a tough start, he was terrible on walks, would take food off the table, pull the toilet paper roll through the house, jump and bite people when they came into the house. Lucky he is only 12 pounds so he never hurt anyone, but I was about to give up on him as we had worked with some other professional trainers. Then we met Ryan, and little by little we saw improvements. He is now relaxed on walks no more crazy barking menace dog. He will sit when people come into the house. He is socialized with other dogs. We have even gotten a new puppy and he has been great with the puppy. He still needs some work but at least we can enjoy him as a family pet. Thank you Ryan. Easy 5 star review. Would give 10 if I could.

Ryan and Ashley are great communicators, able to move between a dogs body language and an anxious, sometimes overzealous, pet owners concerns. (At least, for us!) Well be going to back for more training on how to convince our little puppy to a little more human-like. Thanks AK9!

Weve been taking our two dogs to Alert K-9 for 3 years. Ryan trained our dogs, one of which was a rescue and had aggression issues. Hes a new dog now! We not only have training there, but the daily doggie daycare they provide (at a very reasonable rate) is instrumental to our dogs socialization skills. We also have boarded our two furry family members and we can leave them there for a week and know they are loved and cared for! Ryan, Meegan and their staff are professional and friendly. You will feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. I have a friend in San Francisco who was looking for a good trainer and I referred him to Ryan and he brought his dog there to train and now drives out to board his dog there, even though there are much closer boarding facilities near him. You cant go wrong with this great group of people who know what they are doing! Your dog and you will be much happier for the experience.

Alert K-9 is absolutely one of the best Dog training boarding daycare facility there is i can’t say enough about them ..our boy max has been going there for the past five years .they treat everyone like family they love our fur babies as much as we do I would give them 110 stars

Couldn’t be happier with this facility and the people who are caring for my pet. We have been coming to Alert K9 since we realized we had a headstrong little GSD on our hands ! Ryan and his staff were wonderful helping to train us and in turn we learnt to train her !!! Fast forward 3 years and our animal has transformed into an obedient and mindful dog! We use their facility to board her as well and would not be able to enjoy our trips without the knowledge that she is in good hands and is happy!!

Coming from Working in the veterinary field for the past 15 years and also working with Ryan and the Alert K9 team for their veterinary needs, I finally needed them for my own very tuff, scared, nervous & aggressive Ms Ava. Ryan is amazingly knowledgeable and I was blown away with our evaluation appointment. BLOWN AWAY!!! He is a true master at what he does.Back story: I had to take our Ava in after a incident at home that involved our other dog and our teenage son.With the instructions from our evaluation, we are busting our butts to get “her and us” corrected and trained properly. AND let me tell you- night one Ava is knocking it out of the park!!! I could not do this without Ryan and the staff at Alert K9. We have some future private appointments for her and I’m so excited to have Ryan train us.Ryan and Meegan- we are forever grateful- even if it’s just the beginning. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my baby girl. Thank you and I look forward to our next training.

Been a customer since circa 2005. Trained both of my dogs there. Owners are awesome! Great staff! They do owner/dog training, boarding, doggie daycare (must do training classes 1st), etc. Wouldnt want to board my dog anywhere else. Highly recommendrecommendaa

Great place to take your dogs for training and daycare. Great results from trainng and all the dogs at daycare are very well behaved.

My extended family has been clients of Alert K-9 since our first training lessons and boarding experiences in 2005.We truly love Alert K-9 Training Center. Our most recent puppy is a rambunctious Norwegian Elkhound, whom we totally adore, but were having trouble training. We went back to Alert K-9 and participated in the 4 week board and train program, and some one-to-one training .We highly recommend Alert K-9 for training and are SO HAPPY with the results of our board and train experience. Not only did we learn a lot, but our puppy was able to socialize with the other dogs.Ryan is a magician in my book, although he denied it. : )The facility is immaculate, the dogs are well-cared for, and the staff is friendly and well trained.We will contiue to do doggie day care and boarding when we travel at Alert K-9.
