I was looking for a place with the neccesary tools for my autistic son.... I advice them before his appointment, If they told me we cant deal with a child with that condition ...I wouldnt have gotten mad, promise! But give me this results and charge for that, is an offense for my self and my baby ....... When I arrive I told the lady (who was a different one from the appointment) to turn on the screen with a movie or something, she looks upset when I suggest that, but she did it... when my son start to cry she change me to a different seat where I can hold my son my self but she was never worry about turn on the screen or help with my son situation..... looked like she just wants to kick me out from the salon with my kid because she had more kids in line ..... almost 28 dlls for this hair cut

Way over priced. Only place I know that charges for sanitation. Person who cut our hair was very anxious and left my kids hair uneven we had to fix it.

1st time at this location and it will be the last time I asked for a specific style for my child and wasn’t even close to what I asked for then I asked if she could fix it she said I would have to wait until they closed which was an hour and half later. They charge almost 30 dollars for hair cut and can’t even give the quality of style of which you ask for

Nice place to get haircuts for children. Good entertainment for young ones. There are several seats that are themed. They also offer to display a movie or tv show that the children can choose from. A tad pricey, but youre getting entertainment for your child while they get a haircut.

New to little boy kid hair cuts so tried to explain I wanted to keep my sons hair longer. Helen suggested using the buzzer and me, thinking I already said I wanted it long and thinking she knows more about what the buzzer can do than I do, I said ok. She gave him a standard buz cut. I was upset so I let my husband take over. Now people keep commenting that his haircut looks terrible. We have friends who go here and they like other stylists so maybe we will try again in the future. But I will NEVER let Helen with her terrible communication skills touch his hair again.

Great place, nice staff. They have cool chairs and toys/games for the kids. Tammy is our sons favorite.

Horrible experience. Walked in and the place was nice, play area and toys for sale, tvs with videos and a little boy looked like he was having a nice time. My husband and I walked up to the front counter to check in. Helen asked for the mothers name but since we had made the appointment with the kids names I was confused and assumed she meant the appointment name so I gave the kids names. No, she said, I need the mothers name. We made the appointment under the kids names, so her name wouldnt be listed, my husband said. She than turns away from him, to me she says Mothers name please. My husband and I were both shocked by her rudeness. Seriously? My husband said. But I went ahead and gave her my name. Youve been in here before? She asked. No. I reply. Then in this crazy snotty voice, still ignoring my husband she says, Oh, because if you HAD been here before thats how I would have found you in the computer. Instead of explaining that to us in the first place she decided to be extremely rude and made us play out the little bit with a horrible attitude all the while. At this point my husband lost his temper. You know what, lady, you are rude. You are unbelievably rude. Im not giving you my money. He then got her name to call her manager the next day to complain. I know sometimes people have bad days and Im not a person who enjoys conflict, I tend to let those things slide, but she was really out of line. We went to Fantastic Sams around the corner and got wonderful service from everyone there. Well never be returning to Cool Cuts for Kids on Imperial Hwy.

The staff is great with kids, both shy or screaming, and the personal tvs or games to play at each station is a perfect distraction, but you get what you pay for. $25ish for a standard cut (plus tip). Expensive, but worth it if your kid doesnt like haircuts or wont sit still.

Super great staff. My son loves getting his hair cut here. We absolutely love Mary and have been going to her for a couple of years now. All the staff is patient with the little kiddos too.

Great place. Exclusively take the kids here. They absolutely love it. Do yourself a favor and call ahead and get yourself an appointment with Wendy and you cant go wrong.

Came in after a mishap with trying to buzz my sons hair and Wendy made him look amazing! They have planes and a tv to distract my 20 month old and the stylist had her own tricks for my active boy to hold still while she worked. I recommend this place and Wendy!

4 hair stylist standing around and I come in with my son for his first hair cut, which I was already hesitant to do but a blonde comes out from the back and says to the girl at the register no more walk-ins then asked what she can help us with... we were a walk-in. If there were other parents with children waiting around for their appointment I would understand being turned away but when there is no customers and four women able to do one hair cut it should have been made possible. Bad business. As a business owner ourselves we would never turn away a customer. We are already somewhere else who is happily giving their service we will be paying for.

The staff is very nice but the last two times Ive brought my three year old son they have cut him. First time was a nic on the ear so I figured it was a accident. Second time the lady cut his neck with the scissors. It was a small cut but enough to hurt my child. He yelled I want my momma. I didnt realize he was hurt until we got home and I could see blood behind his ear. My child was not moving either because he likes to watch the TV. I will not be coming back to this location.

I call and ask if I need an appointment, they tell me as long as I get there before 4:30 (they close at 5:00) I don’t need to make an appointment because they take walk-ins. I thought great! I show up at 4:20 and tell me they could not take my daughter in because I need an appointment. That made me upset because that was the whole purpose of calling, and they just wasted my time. Customer service is obviously not a priority, they all need to be on the same page. I don’t recommend anyone going there.

We made an appointment to get my son a haircut Bc his usual salon was booked. My mistake. I don’t think the “stylist” are trained Bc it looks likes someone butchered his hair. I strongly would not recommend this place.

I took my little brother to get a haircut, (teenagers are kids right? Well no... still,) they were very nice.We came in with little to offer and they helped choose what cut to get.

Brought my 2 boys with in 10 minutes there both Playing games while getting a hair cut... damn lucky kids..
