I went in to have a full body check out to make sure there wasn’t any skin cancer. They took me to the back within just a couple of minutes of my arrival and I was shocked at how quickly the doctor came in to see me! She was very quick but also efficient in checking me all over. I have been checked for skin cancers in the past but never so thoroughly. I would highly recommend this place, especially the female doctor and Michelle, I can’t remember her last name.

Visited the Brandon office for a couple months. I was seen by the PA, not a MD. Each time I tried to schedule with a MD there was some reason why only the PA was available. After, 2 months of treatment with the incorrect medication, that worsened my condition, I sought a second opinion. I was able to see a well established MD/Dermatologist who told me to discontinue the prescribed course of treatment immediately and started me on a completely different treatment plan. The results were amazing within one week with the new completely different treatment plan.

Came in to notify that I wanted to take a break from the treatment previously prescribed because it had little to no effect on my facial acne and if anything causes my condition to be worse. The stand-in physician came in and was very impetuous. No one asked for me to remove my mask in order to see any results from the treatment. It was supposed to be a “follow up” but no one offered to even have a conversation about a different type of treatment. The visit with the guy took about 2 minutes and the whole visit from walking in the office to walking out took less than 15 minutes. Also I was charged $106 all while I received absolutely no further treatment, medical advice/opinion, or even attention to the lack of results I received from the previously prescribed medications.

My mother is on continuous oxygen and needed Basal cell cancer removed from her nose. The MOHS procedure was not routine because of the added issue of cauterizing around the oxygen. Dr. Dane and his staff, Jamie and Kristie (sp?), were so patient, communicative, and efficient while Mom went moments without the oxygen to keep us all safe. We are so grateful to everyone involved!

The skin cancer team is literally world class. They practice Mohs surgery which assures you that your cancer is completely eliminated.

Made an appointment with the doctor, arrived to said appointment and couldnt see the doctor because she was in surgery. PA prescribed meds that are to be filled by a compounding pharmacy for a lower cost. Its been going on 3 weeks since my appointment and still no medicine and getting anyone to engage with you is a like pulling teeth. Extremely disappointed in the Brandon location!

Patient care sucks can’t ever get a live person on the phone. Went for follow up appointment and they wanted more money follow ups are supposed to be no charge at least where I come from had to wait for a month to get labs office staff took no action to get them so beware if you choose this place

You can have the best doctors available, and without even marginal customer service, it is not even worth your time. And time I have wasted! They have a centralized telephone system that is impossible to get assistance from. They might be able to schedule an appointment, but that is where it stops. On 3 separate occasions I have lost hours, afternoons and days trying to get assistance. A live voice can transfer you to the office that dumps into a ghost voicemail. I understand office staff gets busy, but after two days and no return call, it becomes unacceptable. My PCP called, left messages and faxed for 2 days before letting me know they were having trouble getting a response. I then called and was sent to voice mail and left a request assuming that it would be checked and addressed. Two days after that, my PCP called again to let me know they still were unable to get any reply at all. Five days from initial contact, I then spent 3 frustrating hours calling, demanding to speak with anyone other than the call center, repeatedly being dumped in voicemail and speaking to staff assuring me that they always returned voicemails and faxes rather than actually addressing the issue at hand. My office visit with the doctor and nurses was great. The nurse practitioner was not rushed and address all of my concerns with care and professionalism. HOWEVER, there was a mistake in sending a prescription to the wrong pharmacy and 2 weeks later, my pharmacist and myself are playing the same game with the phone service provider and I have yet to get the Rx resubmitted.

Dr. Bruner definitely cares about each patient and treats them as a valued individual.She is not only very knowledgeable, but she also takes the time to carefully explain her diagnosis and the treatment regimen.Her staff is very nice, her technician is friendly, my wait time was a blink-of-an-eye and my whole experience was memorable.As a matter of fact, when I related my experience to my husband, he was convinced to make an appointment for himself.UPDATE: Fast forward six months later. I returned to Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, and had the good fortune to have Omar Doobies, PA, as my provider.From the moment he entered the room, it became apparent how much he loves his job and values his patients. Omar is a welcome addition to the practice and enriches his patients lives.Highly recommend!

Met with PA Casey yesterday and she was awesome! Listened to my concerns, looked over my questionable dry skin, and prescribed me some cream that I hope takes care of things. Thanks Casey!Knocked off a star because getting a call back from the office, or in touch with anyone for that matter, is impossible. They gave me a prescription that did not go to my local pharmacy so I just wanted to discuss. I have left at least 4 messages and have received 2 call backs. If you dont answer, good luck getting in touch with that person when you call back. Casey is great but man, dont try getting in touch with anyone in the office.

Advanced Dermatology was a great first visit. The office is clean and social distancing guidelines are in place. Staff was friendly. Doctor made my daughter feel comfortable. We will be back!

The billing department is horrible. Over charged me for my office visit. I sat on hold the first time for 30 minutes someone finally answered told me she would take care of the billing issue and call me back, almost a week later, no response. Called back yesterday sat on hold another 25 minutes, by this time it was a few minutes after 5 pm, the message then changed to, we are experiencing technical difficulties, which more or less means we have gone home for the day. I left a message still no call back, it is a joke to deal with the billing department.

From making the appointment to checking out, this was by far the easiest doctors appointment I’ve had in years! They truly respect me and my time!

Every thing went well. Minimal wait time before the appointment. COVID19 protocol is followed by all. Procedures are fully explained by the staff and carried out as quickly as possible, with minimal discomfort.

Great experience. I saw a PA who was very friendly, very thorough and took her time to listen to my concerns. They followed up with the biopsy results in the time frame given to me. Would definitely recommend.

This place was nice and clean. And I thought was a decent place. Until it took 6 weeks for me to get someone on the phone to let them know I haven’t received my medication. Then to be told I need to contact the third party they do business with. And she didn’t even seem to care or have any intention on helping me in a hurry. She pretty much rushed me off the phone.

Pros:1. I saw a PA, instead of a MD. It was easy to get an appointment and she took about 5 min to perform a full body screening.Cons:1. I was not involved in treatment decision making, no one explained anything to me2. I was not informed of the cost associated with their decisions3. They dont have a portal. No one called me regarding my test results. It has been 15 days, I still havent got my results at this moment, after leaving two messages and calling 10+ times.* I called the front desk and complained, after that, the nurse/PA picked up the phone immediately.

I never leave reviews but I decided to leave a review for Advanced Dermatology. Advanced Dermatology gave me the best experience that I could ever have for a dermatology group. From start to finish. When I first arrived I was seen within minutes. The medical assistant was very attentive and very detailed in writing the reasons for my visit. Dr. Leynes is fantastic she cured the problem that I had for years with one topical cream and an antibiotic. Thank you!

I had worst experience at this office. 1. I called the office and asked for an appointment. They provide me slot very next day. Then I asked is dermatologist is going to see me? She answered “yes”. Then I asked is he or she is MD Dermatology ? She said “yes”. 2. When I visited office, Physician’s assistant did evaluate my case instead of Physician. 3. She just spend 1-2 minutes of time in evaluating my case and she said I don’t see any kind of discoloration on my skin. 4. She even didn’t use any kind of magnifying lenses to observe affected area.

My first visit and I’m so pleased! Rebecca was so amazing she came in 2 minutes after I was told to wait and addressed the issue and got me something right away. Such an amazing personality with that woman. I will definitely be seeing her as my dermatologist. Thank you Rebecca!

I arrived 10 mins early for my 8 o’clock appointment. The front door was locked. At 8 am I hear the door unlock but no one opens the door. After I sign in I see employees walking around chatting and then someone finally says good morning and oh by the way the dr won’t be in for 20 mins, would you like to reschedule? No apology. They do an amazing job of while being polite, letting you know they do not care.

Very positive experience. The dermatologist was extremely friendly. He explained the nature of the problem very well, and allayed any concerns I might have about it. He was quick and efficient, but thorough. I would highly recommend.

Rebecca was very thorough with my mole exam and she was a great listener!

Staff was very courteous and quick up front but unfortunately I felt rushed by the derm I saw. Felt like my concern was not taken seriously and that they didnt want to help me solve my issue. Probably saw the Dr. for 3 minutes and they were rushing out. You just need a good feeling with your Dr. you trust and I just didnt get it here.

When i took my son in for his first the staff was going through an transition from paper charts to electronic tablet check in. The staff was so informative in telling the patient what was going on and helping patient through the process even though their were patient complaing for the dun of it. I applaud them for their patience. It is not easy to deal with unhappy patient. I two work in a doctors office and know first hand what goes on. The doctor my son and i seen was so awesome. He gave me detail information on my son skin condition and what i needed to do to help. Some offices you go to the doctors are very short and only give you half the information and leave you puzzled. Our check was great! You guys keep up the good work and don’t let no one tell you that you guys are not doing an awesome job.

Never looked away from me. When I pointed at something. He looked carefully. He clarified every thing. He aloud me to wash my face in the sink and got up from his chair to see what I was talking about. He talked to me slow so I can understand. Told me what I had/ Have. What was the care we was going to do. Never in my life did I ever have a Dr. to do this. I felt special. I am finally getting the care treatment I need. I cried on the way home. Bc I never got this much care in the world. Dr. Tony Nelson is was being a dr is all about.Staff is amazing too.they listen and ask questions and answer too. Help help you out as much as possible. They all and the Dr. treat you like a person. They help you.

Disappointed... went to the brandon location in high hopes of a great staff, and a quick resolution for my acne. went and got antibiotics, was very pleased by the doctor i worked with. 2 weeks later broke out in serious hives all over my body and called the office 3-5 times in the last 2 days to see what the next step i should take would be. i was told numerous times i would relieve a call back with what i should do next with my medication and left numerous messages, and still no call back. very frustrating.. understand this is a busy place, but a allergic reaction is something serious as well especially with sever painful acne.

I have had a case of eczema which caused lots of problems. They are very nice and caring personal there. After one week of treatment am so much better. I can recommend then highly.

This was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had. The doctor I saw was extremely condescending rude unprofessional and did not bother to take his time with my children. He also told me green tea and use eucerin cream would remove my childrens condition.I couldve googled that, Thank God I have a great allergist, my sons condition is gone thanks to her.

My sister and I took my niece and nephew here since October all the way through to almost Christmas. My niece had contracted scabies at her school but we didnt know what it was. The entire family caught it including the baby. We continuously ask the doctors here is this scabies because they kept saying it was just an allergic reaction or a rash. They kept saying no its not scabies buy better lotions. They never once gave a prescription or did any kind of actual test. They just saw two lower-class children that had state funded insurance and never thought that they deserve better. Two weeks before Christmas we couldnt take it anymore and went to the ER. It took them less than two minutes to diagnose the severe outbreak of scabies. This doctors office should be ashamed for what they did not do. Whats worse is their actions exposed so many people to this parasite.

DR/ ARNP was fine. Follow up w/ staff was nothing. Called two days for lab reports, left messages 2X, no one ever called back. Day 15 went in to get results She told me they just received it on day 15, but the report was dated approx a week before. They would nor return messages. They do not have a patient portal at all. Have to go in in-oerson for any info. .

They overbooked patients and do not inform you ahead of time that you will be seen by a physicians assistant. The health issue I came for was not resolved with the prescription I was given. I attribute this to the speedy evaluation by the physicians assistant.

Dr. Rebecca with the Brandon office is one of the best! Dr. Rebecca listens to your questions and concerns. I would recommend Dr. Rebecca to any of my friends and family!

This place is very unprofessional warning to all stay away. They did a biopsy on my husband and diagnosed him with squamous cell and basil cell but told him they had no appointments available right then and they would call when they could fit him in well 3 weeks went by and still no call so I called them and then they made him wait at least another month to fit him in my husband got his procedure done by another dermatology surgeon before his appointment was scheduled at this place

All the staff was friendly and efficient.Dr Duffy has been diagnosing and treating my grandson, so I scheduled an appointment with him to diagnose bumps on my face after being dissatisfied with another dermatologist. I had several issues to discuss and he took his time to explain all my questions. He was very thorough.Lekeisha (not sure of the spelling) communicated with me and followed up about my medicines because my insurance company had some issues. She stayed right on top of it after many phone calls she and I made.So glad I switched dematologists!
