I found them through my insurance, since I walked in the first day they have been nothing but amazing. My first visit they did x-rays and recommended I did a deep cleaning since it has been a while since I had a cleaning I was okay with that even when my insurance did not pay for it, it was for my own benefit. When I went to get my regular cleaning I complain of some sensitivity in my teeth whenever I drink or eat hot or cold things, they recommend a couple things I could try and also recommend a special paste that could help. Let me tell you it has been like day and night I can eat ice cream and not be in pain among other things. I never been comfortable with the dentist but the Dr. has amazing hands, I had to do 3 fillings and I had to space them out since my insurance only covered one half of them. When I went to do my first filling I was super nervous and scared, the Dr and the assistant where super nice and understanding with me, 30 minutes later I was leaving the office super happy and calm and without any complaints whatsoever. I will keep going to them as long as I need because I haven’t had a dentist as good as this one is in years

PLEASE READ ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS!! THEY ARE NOT LYING!I went in for a dental cleaning. The dentist performed 20 different X-rays shot, a gum test/assessment and told me I needed a deep cleaning. My insurance only pays for X-rays and regular cleaning. I declined the deep cleaning and asked for the regular cleaning, and they denied the service. They gave me the X-rays and told me to go somewhere else.I have a question for the community. Can a dentist decline a service like this once you are a patient of them?PS: from my experience at this place, the office manager tries to sell you everything, pressures you, and provides you with no alternatives other than the most expensive.From reading other reviews, I learned that the office manager is the husband. And it makes sense because the person who denied the regular cleaning service was the office manager. At that moment, I asked to talk to the dentist again to hear that from her, and the office manager refused to let me speak to the dentist by arguing that I would have the same answer. I was never treated like that before at a medical office.

They are always patient, kind, and respectful and attentive to my anxiety. They always go out of there way to make sure I am comfortable, informed, and happy. Love Dr. Cervantes and her staff! They dont push unnecessary things on me (like buying electric toothbrushes from them etc). They dont rack up a bunch of fillings and deep cleanings that I dont need. They tell me what needs to be done only. Love that they have Saturday hours! Also the TVs on the ceilings are the best 😊.

This dentist definitely will try to force you into what she wants. I had an emergency situation with my teeth and instead of helping me she made things worse. Use your options. There are better places.

Ive been coming to this office for years (as long as Ive lived in Tampa) and Ive never had any issues. The hygienists and dr Cervantes take great care in cleaning and maintaining your teeth. Even when I had like 4 cavities at once (what can I say, I like my sweets) they did a fab job filling them in. Just an example of high quality care. Highly recommended!

They were very kind when you walked in. However the doctor just wants money. The hygienist who I saw first was very sweet and honest about the amount of cavities I had. By the time the doctor came in, she just about doubled the amount I had. She even told me that one tooth was fractured and needed a crown. Needless to say I never went back. New dentist told me that a crown was most definitely not necessary as there was no fracture, just a cavity that needed filling.

I give this office no stars (have to give one in order to post). I had an appointment set up to fill my cavities in May. The owner/husband of the dentist told me to bring a letter saying its okay to get the dental care being that I was in my first trimester of pregnancy. I brought the letter from my PCP since I didnt have a prenatal care visit yet since it was too early. When I get there the dentist assistants told me that letter isnt good enough and I could sign a waiver to get the x-rays done but basically scared me out of it so I said I would wait.When I finally get my letter from my prenatal care doctor 2 months later I call and I make an appointment SPECIFICALLY to get my fillings done. I asked the girl SPECIFICALLY on the phone (front desk girl with birth mark on her forehead) can I get my fillings done after I have my x-rays? She said yes.I get to my appointment 10 minutes early and fill out some paperwork, I wait AN HOUR to be pulled to the back and they take all the x-rays (this took 5 minutes).The dentist came in to tell me about the x-rays and I said I just want to get my fillings done, she said we cant do that today. I said what do you mean I specifically made this appointment to do that. The dentist said well it took so long to do your x-rays and were booked. I got out of the chair and said Im leaving.Now upset and frustrated and pregnant with raging hormones Im really upset crying on the side of their building. My mom pulls up a couple minutes later, I tell her what happened and she goes in there and says how do you book an appointment for my daughter to get her fillings done and not do her fillings? They front desk girl said okay to my mother like they were going to do them so I go back in and she pulls me to the back to tell me again THEY OVERBOOKED, not my fault, theirs for not knowing how to schedule...so I get even more upset and raise my voice, the owner/husband to the dentist comes back there yelling and telling me what I can and cant do and I did start cursing at that point, he said, Im the owner and you can get out. I said thats fine and I wont be coming back.I leave and ask my mother to get my dental records and she goes back in to get them, they tell me to come back in, she said how dumb is that you kicked her out and now youre asking her to come back in? When I go back in the office the owner/husband is pointing his finger very threatening like in my mothers face and telling her she needs to get an education, and telling her she cant do anything with a Bachelors degree and that hes from Europe as if he is better than us. He was demeaning, disrespectful, and very customer unfriendly. The whole time he is going off his wife the dentist is just standing there saying nothing just looking.I am explaining to the dentist (still saying nothing as if she is scared of her husband) that I have been there over an hour, Im pregnant and they sit there and tell me I can get my x-rays done and then my fillings just to tell me they cant do it because they overbooked, the only smart one was the other dental assistant who said, that is very understandable that youre upset and the front desk girl had the nerve to say she never told me I could get my fillings done as if my pregnant self would sit there for over an hour for just some x-rays.Not to mention they did not give me my FULL dental records. They only gave me only 2 pages and that included one x-ray and a bill for possible services in the future which Ive had at least 2 x-rays at their office so theyre withholding my records illegally!!I will NEVER go here again and my family members that were going there are not going back either, they just lost 4 customers thanks to their unprofessional, degrading comments and behaviors.

I was going to this dentist for years, but they started going downhill about two/three years ago. Theyve told me I had about 8 cavities, and said both my husband and I were starting to get early periodontal disease. When one of my friends who was going there said the dentist and hygienists started saying they and their spouse needed irrigation for their gums, too, I was starting to get uneasy but kept going there anyway for the Saturday cleanings. I decided to delay getting more filings and eventually decided to get a second opinion when my friend said another dentist confirmed their gums were fine. Sure enough, I only had two cavities and my gums were just fine. The workers here may be nice, but whether you are scamming or know your co-workers are scamming, shame on you. Once you drill someones teeth thats it, the damage is done. Been telling others to stay far far away, and I will report this. Sad to see this dentist go downhill.

I had the same experience as Jordan Terry. This dental office just wants MONEY and alot of it. Total scam and I reported them to my insurance company. They want to do work on my teeth that isnt even necessary. I went back to my regular dentist and he did not even give me the same diagnosis A&S gave me. If A&S respond to me that they did not have me in their system, I will post my bill they sent me cause these folks are crazy, in my opinion! If I were you, I would go some place else, unless, of course, you dont mind the over-kill on their diagnosis and have the money to spend. And by the way, I called them just to see if they would allow me to just get my teeth cleaned and not have the special work done that they quoted, they refused! I see how they are - all or nothing!!! SCAM, RUN!

My husband and I have both been going to this office for over a year for cleanings, fillings and crowns. The office is clean, and everyone involved in our care has always been professional and friendly. The most I have waited for an appointment is 10 minutes. Typically, when I arrive for an appointment, they are ready for me and call me right in.Dr. Cervantes does her best to minimize discomfort and pain, and she really cares about the outcome of her work. Even when I go in for a late appointment, she does a thorough job and does not rush. Fallon is a top notch dental assistant, always ready, smiling and caring. She really listens to my concerns and communicates them to the doctor if I forget, and of course she handles all the tools and assists the doctor during the procedures. She makes great temporary crowns, too. Sheyda has been our hygienist most of the time we have been there, and she has really helped my gums get healthier; I have had mild to moderate gum disease for years that is now almost completely gone. I saw Dr. Singh once for gum lasering; he was gentle and took his time to make sure it turned out just right. I am very happy with the services provided. So much so, I have recommended this practice to my friends.

Awful. The hygenist Ashley was so rude and so was the front desk. They tried to sell me things I did not need. I will not be going back here ever again. Im writing this review based on my personal experience. I read other reviews about this place and decided to give it a shot. I made an appointment for a cleaning. At my appointment, the hygienist gave me a probe test to measure my gum health and afterward proceeded to tell me I have gum disease. The dr came in and looked at my gums and teeth, agreed with the gum disease diagnosis and said I also had a cavity. The rest of my appointment was spent going over prices for different treatment plans-none of which my insurance covers. I felt extreme pressure from the Dr and staff to choose the more expensive treatment ($1000). I left the appointment without getting the cleaning that I made the appointment for. I didnt believe the diagnosis so I made an appointment with another dentist for a second opinion (but didnt tell them about my diagnosis bc I wanted an unbiased answer). At my appointment with the new dentist I was given the same probe test and exam by the hygienist and Dr respectively. No gum disease-no cavities. A and S dental wanted me to pay a grand out of pocket for something that didnt exist! Total scam and I reported them to my insurance company.

A&S Dental is a great place with friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend to those looking for a dentist in the Brandon,FL area.

The best experience I’ve had with a dentist!

I went for Filling and root canal but instead Dr.Sara did x-ray then Dr. came in and looked at my gums and teeth, agreed with the gum disease diagnosis and said I also had a cavity. The rest of my appointment was spent going over prices for different treatment plans-none of which my insurance covers. I had to pay $1500 out of pocket just for cleaning my teeth. And later for root canal and crowning Dr. estimated price more than $700 out of pocket which I did for less than $300 some other place.

When I moved to Tampa, I was looking for a dentist who would really speak Spanish and not just to attract more clients. Someone to whom I can ask questions and explain my doubts in my language. Without going into much detail in my dental needs I can assure you that Dr. Cervantes has magical hands. She knows how to do her job and is not guessing what she has to do. Its establishment is very clean and very comfortable and its assistants very cordial. I chose her as my dentist 10 years ago and for work reasons I stopped seeing her. But I went back to using her first class services this year and its nice to know that I can count on Ella as my Dentist. Thank you very much Dr. Cervantes.
