Thank you for being so patient and kind with my anxious dog. I was in the process of switching vets and I’m glad I found this one.

I’ve been bringing my pup here for years and they’ve always been amazing! Everyone that works here is very sweet, professional, and you can tell they all really care about the animals and what’s best for them. Since I started coming here I’ve never gone anywhere else!

Best vet in town! Dr is nice, respectful and doesn’t recommend things just for money. You can tell he is in this profession because he truly loves animals. The vet techs are amazing too, especially Megan! And Shay is always so welcoming! Our dogs love going here and we truly trust the staff to make the best decisions for our dogs!

Excellent experience. What a lovely group of people! They obviously love animals as they kept both of my dogs calm talking and loving up on them. Doberman visits by an experienced vet leaves me confident in the care provided. The team of assistants work well with animals and with the humans who bring them. Just an overall most wonderful experience establishing new patient/vet after relocation.

Im not usually one to write a negative review but I was so disappointed in this place. I was looking for a new vet and they were recommended to me. Since my dog was due for his vaccines, I made an appointment. I brought records from my old clinic that had pertinent information on them and when I showed them to the receptionist, I pointed out the record showing some medicine hes gotten in the past and that I would like to have it filled there. She went into the back to let them know I was wanting that filled, came back out and didnt say a word about that. I went into the exam room for my appointment and, again, explained what medicine hes gotten, what it was for and that I requested it to be filled. They continued with the exam, vaccines etc and then sent me to check out. When I was waiting to get the total I asked if they were going to fill the medicine I requested and she went back to ask the vet. When she came back out she said the vet doesnt prescribe that type of medication and said the medicine he prefers to prescribe. I told her that my dog had been prescribed that type of medicine and he almost bloated on it, a fact I told the vet techs too. To which the receptionist replied that I hadnt brought thorough enough records and theyd need to contact my previous vet to get more records. I said I was fine with that and paid my bill ($244!) The receptionist told me they would call me when they checked with my previous vet, literally the last thing she said to me well give you a call. Today marks one week and I have not heard anything. Obviously they knew from the time I checked in that they had no intention on filling my request and just wanted to get as much money as they could from meEverything that anyone needs to know about your business is in your attack on me rather than trying to remedy the situation. Correct, I declined bordatella. My 10 year old dog has never received it and never gotten sick even coming to work with me at my groom shop every day. In fact, the client who referred me to you also does not believe in that vaccine and they play together every single time he comes. Yes I informed every staff member of wanting (not demanding) because every single staff member asked me what he was there for and if there was anything else they needed to know. If at any point one of them said Im sorry we cant prescribe that medication without blood work being done, I would have ceased to ask. My previous vet told you they hadnt seen me or my dog since 2018? You might want to have them check again as my other dog and I were there at the end of September of last year. And your staff called while I was still there?? Then your receptionist LIED to me when she said she still needed to call for more thorough records and that she would call me when she got them. Another red flag. The pertinent records I brought were papers showing when he got vaccines last, thats what I brought him to you for. The other record showed that he in fact received tramadol + rimadyl in the past. Had you told me you needed more proof of the injury, I would have gladly shown you pictures as well as my previous vet should have told you about him being attacked and required surgery

As always it’s like the dogs are family! They are so compassionate with all four of our dogs . We have complete trust in the entire staff! We really appreciate the time spent answering all our questions at each visit. We NEVER feel rushed or like we are just another client. The entire group is warm and welcoming! I took my bunny to get his nails trimmed. Never been there before. Appt was at 10:45, they took him (my bunny) and was done within 10 mins. Had to fill out paper Ofcourse. Def recommend this place!

By far the best vet in Bradenton. The staff is awesome and Dr Daves bedside manner is FAR better then any vet Ive ever met. If your looking for a vet in Southwest Florida look no further.

Extremely personable staff who treats you and your pet like old friends. Extremely sincere and caring they helped us through multiple vet visits as well as the passing of said pet. Easily one of the best vet clinics I have ever been to. I cant say enough good things about their compassion and sincerity.

They always take great care of our familys critters. The staff is super friendly and Dr. Doyens really takes time with the pets. We trust them completely with our fur babies.

Dr. Doyens is not only an exceptional veterinarian, but also a understanding and compassionate human being. I would not of known what to do if it werent for his guidance, quick reply, and knowledge. My fur baby is safe and sound thanks to him and his staff. Growing up here in town locally I have come by many veterinarians and I highly recommended Dr. Doyens as the best in Manatee County, if not the best in South Florida.

We have been going to Manatee Veterinary Clinic since we moved here 3+ years ago and have felt welcomed from the minute we walked through the door and every time we go. We have lived all over the country, and we have always had dogs and can say unequivocally, that this is one of the best vets and staff ever encountered. All of the staff are exceptionally friendly, professional and caring and when you are in your appointment with Dr. Doyens, you feel at ease, because he takes time to listen to your questions and concerns, responding with sound, practical advice. I have recommended MVC to family, friends and neighbors.

From start to finish, the level of professionalism and care is top rate. When I walked in, I knew it was the perfect find! I love that there are cats greeting me. The staff is so loving and friendly. It was a really great visit. And, the vet on staff that day had such a great bedside manner. Thanks for taking such great care of Feliz. Well be back. And, so will his sister and brother when its time for their annual checkups.

Excellent clinic, staff does a great job

Every member of staff is pleasant and caring. Doctor spend plenty of time and makes diagnosis and treatment understandable. Not inexpensive but I did not feel procedures were pushed on me to rack up the bill.

You can feel confident bringing your pet (mine is a 15 y.o. kitty) to Dr. Doyens and his terrific staff. I am in Bradenton temporarily and needed to have my kittys thyroid condition re-evaluated. I am so glad that I did. I felt that Dr. Doyens was not only caring etc., but he was very knowledgeable about different avenues of treatment. I am moving about 2 hours away, but seriously considered making the drive to continue with this great practice.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our old gal Lily. She was 14 and had a good long life. We started going to Dr. Doyens when we had our other dog Scooter who Dr. Doyens treated as well. He lived to be almost 16 years old. In all the years we used Manatee Veterniary Clinic, everyone has treated us, and our fur babies kindly and with great care and professionalism. Dr. Doyens medical knowledge, compassion and friendly demeanor made us feel comfortable knowing our pets health concerns were being met. We are now petless and are sad that we no longer need the services of Dr. Doyens and his staff. Shea, I will miss our monthly calls and your sparkling pesonality and professionalism is an asset to the practice. We will never forget all the years of wonderful care and compassion Dr. Doyens, Victoria and his staff provided to our furry family members, If we decide someday to become a pet owner, we hope Dr. Doyens is still practicing.THANK YOU! Took my puppy in today for her first visit. Loved dr doyens and all of the staff. They answered all questions I had (even about my other dog that I didnt bring for an appointment yet) and were very friendly. So very happy I found an awesome vet!

Super friendly atmosphere, clean and very professional! True animal lovers who really seem to care. Reasonable pricing and knowledgeable staff. This week was our second visit, would highly recommend!

Dr. Doyens and staff have been extremely helpful and considerate in the treatment of our 3 herding dogs through a multitude of ailments. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and an excellent communicator. We especially appreciate the opportunity to accompany the animal for blood draws or procedures, which alleviates some of the animals anxiety, as well as ours.

Not only the best vet I found since moving to Florida, the best vet Ive ever had for my dogs. The support staff is great, as well. They are top-notch professional, but in a way that doesnt come off as cold or uncaring. They love animals, they just also happen to be highly competent and organized on the business side of things. So many other veterinary offices seem to be either really good with animals (but bad with, you know, details) or really professional (but sort of seem to not like animals). The folks here are the perfect blend. (And, I have found the prices to be reasonable and more than competitive. Dont tell them, but Id pay a little more than they charge!! Ha!)

From the greeting you receive through the attentiveness from the staff to the comfort and assurance you get from the Dr. Everytime I have needed their service, I have left feeling confident that my little Mowgli has received the best care one could expect.

Dr. Doyens is absolutely wonderful - he listens to our questions and makes sure we understand his answer. Our baby Dusty even likes him, and thats saying something. Not only have we had great medical care and advice, when asked, he also recommended Dirty Dog Grooming with whom were extremely pleased. Well be continuing our semi-annual visits to MVC for the foreseeable future.

Very sad to be moving onto a new vet.Today I took my 10 month old rescue German Shepherd in after a few months away for a simple nail trim. When we arrived, the vet tech we’ve seen before made no attempt to familiarize herself with him before telling us to come back. He became very bark-y and still no one attempted to appeal to him like they had done so kindly before, So I put him back on his leash. She talked down to my dog and seemed very annoyed that we were there. I truly felt like we were a Nuisance to them just for being there and giving them my business. Before we started the nail trim, I politely asked why he was not being met with kindness and patience like before, which is why he was so uncomfortable and loud. She simply said she was not even going to address what I said because that him being a rescue is only an excuse that works for so long. I stated he’s currently in training but we could go elsewhere and she opened the door and rudely said that’s a good idea.At first , We took our rescue German Shepherd with vet anxiety here and was very honest about this upfront. They were all incredibly accommodating to him on his first visit and made extreme effort to make him comfortable before doing anything. I was touched. He did end up needing to be muzzled the first time for nail trimming because he nipped. A bad thing I agree, and they were very understanding. We’d had no incidents since and we’ve been back several times including an extended visit for neutering, where the techs talked about how much they enjoyed him. I understand a misbehaving dog can seem intimidating and be offputting but there are steps that could have been taken, which they have done before. Dr. Doyens seems to be a great veterinarian and I liked him very much. He was not present for this interaction with his vet tech that didn’t seem to care about us or our feelings. We will unfortunately be taking our business elsewhere now.

Dr Doyens is wonderful and his staff is fantastic they are all so caring and knowledgeable they took such good care of my kitty.Im so glad I found them I wont go to any other clinic and I highly recommend anyone that loves their pets should take them here also.I guarantee you will feel the same as I do.

Three years ago I had to put down my Cocker Spaniel to many debilitating old age complications. The staff gave my dog so much love and compassion in her transition that it was like being with family. I will never go anywhere else as long as I have a forever friend. They now treat my Tortoise shell cat like it was there own.

Nice facility.I got snapped at by a pitbull in the waiting room as my dog was on my lap, and sitting quietly, the pitbull & owner was heading out as we sat waiting for my dogs appointment. The pitbull lunged at me & nipped my hand, it was nearly clear, it was wanting to attack my poor innocent small dog sitting still in my lap in the waiting area......Pitbull lunged & nipped me, thankfully I used my purse to help us from having skin injury, my purse saved us....Scary thing.....Maybe they need to rearrange the waiting room? Or entrance, exit areas set up different?They were nice about everything...... But, my purse saved my dog & I from getting ourselves injured worse than what transpired.....I dont know if we will go back? I just didnt feel good about the visit?Things happen, thats life....

I brought our Bo (dog) in and they took GREAT care of him and even called to check on him after. I didnt have a lot of money, and they still took care of us, Thank you guys SO much, He is doing GREAT.

This place is Incredible!! I have had alot of vets in my day. My 2 yr old lol boy cat came down sick..they were booked but fit us in! My cat went crazy The poor vet tech Tracy and I got messed bmuo.(I had no idea he would reacte that way! But they took care of everything for a good cost! And even sent us a card welcoming Jedi to their family! And each staff member signed it! Above and beyond!!!

Dr. Doyens gets high praises from me!I brought in my dog, Dodger that had an improperly treated disease for years. He was lethargic. Doc Doyens got his pills regulated and now Dodger acts more like a playful pup.If that cure is not immpressive enough Ringos story is even better! Ringo was once a ferrel cat. He was shrivelling away to nothing. He refused to eat. I gathered him in a towel and said it was time to release him from his suffering. I was told, Not so fast, Lets take a look. Within a half hour blood work was done and Ringo was re-hydrated. Thyroid problem. Fixable with a pill Ringo loves! Ringo is making up for lost time. He is eatting about 5 meals a day!3 cheers to Manatee Vet and their staff.

Dr. Doyens and his staff are shining STARS !!!! They saved the life of my standard poodle and theyve taken GREAT care of my other dogs and cats !!!!!!!!!!! YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH MANATEE VET CLINIC.....And theyre near the Shake Pit too so I can get a shake after my vet appointment !!!!!
