I have been a patient for over 8 years. The caring of this doctor and his office for their patients has been going down every year. I needed a simple document filled out for my insurance company and they not only gave me a hard time about it they charged me $30 to fill out a small section about treatment that he had provided for me. I feel this was totally unfair and the office staff was unprofessional.

Dr Polanco is a great doctor.. Customer service sucks but one person you can count on and always willing to help is Angelica she is such a sweet loving & caring person with a positive attitude.. On the other hand Tammy the MA is very rude disrespectful & hateful not sure why a physician would keep an employee thats rude & disrespectful to his patients but what goes around comes around when you mistreat people

This doctor does not care for his patients. Just prescribes medication instead of looking into what is causing the problem. How is it that a patient goes in for an appointment to get answers, but the patient is the one telling him what should be done?! Also, dont try and leave a message with the office because you wont get a call back from this office. Completely unprofessional

Worst customer service ever. I missed an appointment on 2020 while everything was closing down and there was insecurity of employment for the entire nation.so yes I forgot the appointment I didn’t even think they will be open, everything was crazy those days. They were prob closed. Anyways I asked to please consider giving me a break and void that off. Their response was Nope Sorry and charges are staying. Later on they sent me to Collection. Wow !! Cold Heated Individuals. I asked to speak to the doctor or The Nurse Practitioner if they only knew how this office manager is handling guess issues they may cut a break to those less fortunate but they refuse to let me talk to the doctor when I went to see him at the office they told me the only way I can talk to the doctor is if I pay the $50 No show and the new $40 for the visit. I will find me a new Doctor that’s for sure.

Doctor Jose Polanco is an amazing doctor. He is a true find. It’s hard to find doctors nowadays who listen and dedicate themselves to heal. He does not brush you off but is truly there to figure out the best way to make you feel better. He is without a doubt one of the best doctors I have encountered.

I have been going to Dr. Polanco for 16 years & can tell you he is an excellent physician. He listens to any concerns you may have, and will share any concerns he has regarding your health. He is amazingly accurate in his diagnosis, and if hes not sure what the problem is he knows what tests are needed to make a diagnosis. His entire staff are always there for you and are always polite and professional. Blanca is the best at drawing blood, so much so that I no longer go to Quest. I go into the office and have her do it. She is fast and accurate, and I am never left bruised. If you have any problem with your insurance Kate will do what it takes to get things resolved for you. Liliana is a great addition to the practice and I have no reservations about seeing her if Dr. Polanco is not available. Some days you may wait a little longer than others for your appointment, but know that when its your turn he or she will take as long as necessary to take good care of you. I have referred a number of coworkers and friends, and I cant imagine going anywhere else.

Great doctor, receptionist are awful at returning calls when you leave a voicemail and if you try to call later in the day no one answers

The doctors and Liliana are great no complains. I misread an appointment. That was schedule with in 5 months in advanced. I was charged $50. I asked if it can be voided due to Covid and the lack of money everyone is making now in these days. They transfer me from one line to an other. Finally I left a voice mail with the office manager. Never heard back from her. Tried to leave a voice mail to the doctor directly but never was I transfer to his voice mail. Just to get back in before I see anyone I ll be $100 short. Times are tough. Mr. polanco i know is your police but just like a lot of business are giving people breaks you should talk to your office manager and make some arrangements for the mean time. Wish some one would have gotten back to me.

Service is terrible. The receptionists take a month to respond unless you walk in personally. Apparently you need to fill out an online patient packet in order to schedule an appointment according to on of the receptionist. She didn’t even give me her name.

I am a patient and have left 4 messages in 3 days about needing a call on a medical issue. No actually person will answer any extension when prompted. Hopefully nothing major is wrong at the practice.

I am a nurse and found Dr. Polanco to be a great physician through having to call him for patients at the hospital. I had moved and needed a PCP in FL. Now my son sees him and so do other friends I have referred. He and his NP Lillian and his staff are very nice as well as good at their jobs.

If it wasnt for Dr. Polanco I dont know where I would be today. I have been seeing him now for 4months and he has changed my life is so many ways its a miracle. I call him my angel. He truly has saved my life with the help he has given me and is continually going to give me. I dont have father and if he has kids they have one angel of a father they should be VERY blessed. Dr. Polanco I truly owe u my life for EVERYTHING u did and changed my life the way u did. Thank you and everyday I pray about u and thank you for ur help. Thank I forever and ever!Alicia Hess

You would travel long and hard to find a doctor who is as smart and caring as Dr. Jose Polanco. He has taken very good care of us and we feel extremely fortunate to have him as our Primary Care Physician.

His staff turned me away and refused to see me when i had an emergency that didn’t require for me to call 911. I had a bad allergic reaction to a facial cleanser and it left me with swollen eyes and lips, my skin and face was on fire. I left work early, called about 3 hours before the closing time which is 5pm, and was told that I’ll just have to find a walk in clinic to go to because Polanco doesn’t want to see any more patients because he has things he needs to do. She didn’t ask me if i wanna be seen on Monday, I wasn’t asked if I could see a nurse practitioner, I was rushed off the phone and was told to find somewhere to go. I highly doubt that Polanco even knows what his staff says to his patients. Polanco sees my mom, aunts and uncles. He has been seeing my family for years. This was extremely unprofessional and a PCP should NEVER turn away his own patient especially when I’m already established with him. I will be finding a new PCP that doesn’t turn away established patients.

My wife and I love Dr. Polanco. We have been with him for 15 yrs and he has taken us through some good times and some rough times. He is not only a great Doctor, he is also a great detective. If you have a problem, he will find the answer. We cant say enough about him and his staff. Ken & Sandy

I am new in the area and wanted to establish with a new doctor, I chose Dr Polanco based on reviews. I got an appoint 2 months in the future and is currently three weeks from today. Over the past week I developed a medical issue that I need looked at very soon. I called the office and described my condition and the lady I talked to could not care less since they did not have my new pation packet turned in. I told here that it is filled out and she previously verified my insureance when I made the inital appointment. Not a very good first impression.

Dr Polanco has the best attitude and staff. HIGHLY recommended.

I am a single 33 year old female who is very progressive & a true millennial. I am busy, flexible and appreciate modern technology & practices so this is my perspective when reviewing. I LOVE Dr. Polanco and my rating of him as my doctor is 5 stars all day, but for the overall office/practice Im rating a 3.5 stars. because I can NEVER get through to actually speak to a human being and when you arrive for an appt the office window is closed with an electronic sign in. No smiles, no patient recognition. and no one ever remembers me or asks me any personal like hows your dog? or one of those personal comments/questions that make you feel like a truly valued and personal patient. The element of human connection & relationship at this office is missing. BIG TIME.Dr. Polanco is kind & funny and always has a full schedule, but will take his time if you need it. He is thorough, educated & smart and has always worked with me to either try something new or honestly steer me in the direction I need to be in. He cares, he listens and I adore him as my doctor.The NEW female nurse practitioner is AMAZING. I think her name is Liliana. My appt with her was like sitting in with a new doctor. She asked me a variety of questions, new all of my history ahead of time and showed such genuine care and interest in my overall health. I didnt realize how much a female practitioner would impact my experience at Dr. Polancos office but it did. Bravo to Dr. Polanco/his manager for recruiting such a stellar practitioner! Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Polanco but rate his office staff and practices far less than him.

Office staff and Dr Polanco are very professional and welcoming.Their offic is clean. Dr Polanco is very thorough and takes the time to answer my questions. Highly recommend this doctor and office!
