Scheduling an appointment was a snap and much sooner than expected. Front staff is very helpful, courteous, and appointment was on time. I met with my surgeon’s PA, Jarred, who was very informative, and provided a clear path of treatment/regimen moving forward, with a follow up time line for additional examination if needed…….over the top professional service. I highly recommend Bridger Orthopedic to anyone needing any type of orthopedic service from simple consultation for a perceived simple problem to complete robotic surgery.

Specific to my hand/elbow rehab, my therapist was thorough and well prepared for each visit. Directions were clearly given for homework and followed up with visuals to use at home for reference.

Dissatisfied. After waiting two hours we left without seeing the doctor. My father(73 year old disabled Veteran)sat as patient as he could while being in extreme pain. He had a very negative reaction to the shots he received in his lower back. They crippled him up even worse than he already was. Weve been waiting months for the follow up appointment. He had already been cancelled or pushed back 3 times for this appointment. When we finally were called back we sat and waited for another hour while no one came and checked on him or told us why the long delay. No apologies for his inconvenience. Nothing. I hope they dont bill the VA for this. It would be unethical.

I was very pleased with the care I received in undergoing a hip replacement. Dr. Gelbke did a fabulous job with the surgery. I was also very pleased with the post-op visit I had with Jarred Pinnick and the call I received from their nurse after I arrived home to see how my recovery was going and whether I had any questions. The other nurses and staff I have dealt with have also been very pleasant. I really appreciate the excellent care I have received.

Im giving the place 5 stars because the receptionist are caring and kind even at 7:30am. The nurse who works directly with my Doctor is so sweet and genuine. Vanessa Lipp is my main care giver and she is very patient, caring and thorough and really quite wonderful.

The receptionist was not clear on providing full information and was quite rude.Then looked over my private information at the desk that was for my doctor. My appointment was half an hour late and both my family and I felt like I was rushed through the appointment. My doctor did provide good information to me about my condition.

I have been seeing Dr. Speth for about 5 months and have made numerous visits to see him. I really like his approach and he is very easy to talk to. My complaint is actually with the wait times. I have never seen him less than 30 minutes form the appointed time and this last visit, I sat in the room for an hour before I went looking for someone. Many office have procedures that if a patient is waiting X amount of time, someone comes to tell them what is going on. Certainly not in this case.

Weve been here several times for my daughters injuries. They were able to accurately diagnose more complicated injuries that stumped her regular doctor, and they did a great job of caring for her. They are knowledgeable and respectful. They listen and explain things very well. I highly recommend them!

The most ignorant doctors and staff Ive ever had to deal with at a medical facility. The doctors need to go back to school for their bedside mannerisms and apparently for more medical knowledge. The front office tells you theyll call you to set up important or needed procedures and dont, forget or mishandle the times/dates. The upper management tend to hide/cover-up for the mishaps and if you complain, they just ban you from their facility in the middle of treatment. WORST MEDICAL TREATMENT IVE EVER HAD!

Went in for a total left hip replacement and learned it would be one of the more difficult replacements my surgeon will be performing. I arrived and I have never felt more comfortable and safer in the hands of these highly skilled Doctors. Very pleased and my surgery went incredibly amazing. I have a little bit longer of recovery then average. For my condition at 31 with Legg Calve Disease. My surgery went incredibly well. My surgeon even measured the length and matched my hips and legs to the millimeter of precision. The staff is incredibly friendly and respectful and understanding of patients. They take the time to make sure you are recovering correctly and explain everything carefully and detailed. I feel that I am incredibly lucky and thankful to have been in the right hands. Thank You! To all the doctors and staff there.

Saw a Doctor here in the end of 2012 for an acromioclavicular joint dislocation, grade 3 at 24 years old. They pushed me to forgo the surgery and live with the injury which was a huge mistake. Living in pain for over 6 years before I finally decided to see someone else. He said after looking at the initial scans and my activity level that youd have had to have been crazy to suggest anything less than surgical repair. I already have arthritis formation around the connection of my collarbone and it is slightly protruding in my chest. This along with back, neck, nerve pain that there is probably no way to deal with at this point. I am finally getting the joint rebuilt but the likelihood of it helping is significantly reduced. I absolutely should have went somewhere else. I would not trust a single thing these people say... The amount of pain that their advice has caused me is almost incalculable.

The parking is easy, the receptionists are friendly and the nurses as well as my PA, Vanessa Lipp are efficient and thorough. With every appointment I’ve had, I feel that I’m understood and that improving my quality of life is important to them.

I broke my fingers and was told I needed to see a specialist. I went to my first and last appointment at Bridger Orthopedic East. Because it was my first appointment, I was told to come in twenty minutes early to fill out paperwork. I showed up at 9:40 for my 10 AM appt.I was brought into a patient room at 10 AM and sat waiting for Dr. Vinglas for 43 minutes. Nobody came into my room for 43 minutes. When he did come in, his interactions with me were lazy at best. He just told me I have to move my fingers more. He didnt give any explanations or details on my injury. I had to ask him what type of PT I should be doing and how much. I felt like because I wasnt a surgery patient, he didnt give me the time of day.He was out of the room by 10:46. I waited for 43 minutes for 3 minutes of poor service and I know I am going to pay a lot of money for it. If a patient makes an appointment, they should be seen within 15 minutes of that time. They have to rearrange their own schedule and take off work to be there. A 43 minute wait in a patient room for unimpressive service.The reception staff was friendly but Ill never go there again.

WARNING!Never get medical equipment from them, they rob you blind!I broke my ankle and they put me in an ankle boot that cost five times the normal price. The boot was so cheaply made it broke a week later.

Wouldnt go to any other orthopedic surgeons. Both Vinglas and Robinson took incredible care of me. I would highly recommend.

Had an appointment with Jasper Kholar. I was extremely disappointed with my treatment and services today. Definitely dont feel comfortable with him doing any of my treatments and would not recommend him to anyone else.

I had a workers compensation injury in Bozeman mt and i was rushed here with a broken arm, im a truck driver and told them it was covered under workers comp so it should have been paid but 3 years later im trying to buy a house and my credit report has it on there stopping me from getting a loan... After i gave them the companys name and number to be billed this shouldnt be an issue. Highly disappointed!!!!!

They have a lot of capacity and knowledge about all your issues. This depth of knowledge makes them succesful in Bozeman.I wouldnt hesitate to head to Bridger Ortho.

Ive been here 3 times now. 1st time, the receptionist was rude and snotty. The doctor I saw was great, but, definitely overworked. The second time. Different receptionist, but still another rude and snotty employee. Not only to me, but as I sat there waiting for over 1hr and a half. I heard her be rude and snotty to several others that came in. Complaining about how swamped they were. When I finally was seen by a doctor (Scott something) he was rude, hurried and said he couldnt diagnose me because I was not helping!? What the heck? Thats why I went there! For their help! When I returned, I had a different doctor named Jasper. He was a very abrasive Dr. and barely looked at my problem and was more involved with filling out paperwork. Still not knowing what type of injury I had (2nd visit) I told him that I needed to know something so that I could tell my boss what the heck was going on, since it had now been over a week. He got very rude and told me I was lucky to be able to get an MRI so quick and said maybe it was this or that (Medical terms). Which wasnt an answer. I had to ask what kind of care I should be doing, ice/heat, should I be taking pain relievers, etc.. Never had to drag out of a doctor what care I should be doing for myself before! Upon the 3rd visit I had to make Dr. Jasper re-do my medical status because the injury had now gotten worse and I was not able to work anymore. Again, he was more involved with paperwork and did nothing and told me no more information. I made a call to those in charge and changed physicians. Avoid this place if you can!*Update*. More of the same from this place and the Bridger Orthopedic East. Going to call me back, no call. Telling me to be at an appointment at 11:20 and to be 20 minutes early, get there and the appointment isnt until 12:30.*Update* Received this letter postmarked 3 days after I tried to switch to the Bridger Orthopedic East facility and they said they would call, which they didnt. I called the next day and they said they would call again after a doctor looked at my MRIs. The letter states that I was verbally abusive and that they would discharge me from their clinics. I may be voicing my opinion hear, but I have been more than cordial with all that I have spoken too face to face or on the phone at their clinics.When I called and spoke to one of the higher ups and complained about Jasper & Scotts failure to give me any real information about my injury. I was not happy. And after being told to be at my MRI appointment at 11:20am (Be 20 mins early) and my appointment wasnt until 12:30pm, I was not happy. But, I was nice and even laughing with the lady. Never once did I get verbally abusive. But, I was letting them know, that this was not professional behavior.So now, were at about a month from the original visit, Ive been off work the whole time. They send me a certified letter to tell me that Im no longer accepted at their clinic and state lies. WOW, is all I can say. Time to lawyer up. And with all the others that I found via Facebook that have had such bad dealings with this practice, I really dont see why a practice like this shouldnt be punished.*Update* After a horrible experience with Bridger Orthopedics I went to Alpine Orthopedics. Absolutely wonderful doctors & staff! I cant recommend them enough! The doctors went above and beyond fixing & healing me! A-Plus medical facility and the nurses & staff couldnt have treated me better. Thank you to all of you at Alpine Orthopedics!

Arrived early. Wonderful staff in reception. Dr. Eugene A. Slocum does not care about the patient. Offered the same treatments I have been through. Refused to see my Primary Physicians paperwork. Told me I can control the anxiety he was causing. Causing me more anxiety. I can barely walk and as I was putting me pants on I fell and could not get up. Had to dial 911 and get an ambulance and Bozeman Fire Dept. to help me up while in their office. Told by director to leave Bridger Ortho. My Recommendation... Find a Different Spine/Back Doctor.

I thought I had to live with my back pain forever; Ive been to many different doctors for relief. Ive tried steroid injections, medicines etc nothing worked. I had not heard of successful back surgery until my son in law injured his back and had to have surgery. His surgery was simpler than mine but he was up and back to his pursuitss within a couple of months, it was impressive. So I worked with my family physician and got a referral to Dr Speth. Dr Speth used MRIs and steroid injections to confirm his diagnosis. Prior to surgery the pain would begin with my leg and work up to my butt where it would become severe. About a year ago I could get maybe a half day of work or short walks but rowing would kick the pain in almost right away. Just prior to surgery my window for work was down to a couple of hours. Im now one week out from surgery but Im walking and have no leg or back pain. Im feeling pretty optimistic about getting my life back and that is a good feeling. Bridger Orthopedic is a very professionally run clinic; they are the clinic for MSU athletics so they are seeing young and old patients. Dr Speth has done these surgeries for many years. He was confident he would fix my back; I believe has done that. Five stars for me

I hate to do this, because my experience with the doctors working at Bridger Orthopedic was good. However, they use an anesthesia company - Gallatin Valley Anesthesia - which is outrageously incompetent. If youre not getting anesthesia, this review does not apply. If, however, you need surgery, demand that they do not use GVA - look at the reviews on that place and get a sense of whats coming for you if you do.In particular, they can mishandle your insurance info, send the bill to a billing department in South Carolina, and then they will be completely impossible to contact, via email or phone. If you call their office and ask for their billing agency, they forward you to a company that does not handle their billing. If you email them or contact them via their website, they will send you an email in a month and then never reply. They will give you a number to call that leads to static.Simply put, Gallatin Valley Anesthesia is criminally incompetent and if you get surgery at Bridger Orthopedics, they will use GVA, and you will have to deal with them and their appalling incompetence, borderline fraudulent negligence, at a time when you should be recovering from surgery.If you just need PT, though, Bridger is great. If they get a new anesthesia company, or if GVA gets its business in order, then I will remove this review.

I am 48 and have undergone a total hip replacement 2-1/2 years ago and a total knee replacement about 3 months ago. Both surgeries were done by Dr Gelbke and his team. I couldnt have asked for better care by all members of the Bridger Orthopedic staff!

I have a broken back and have been waiting for this appointment for 2 weeks. Walked in Bridger orthopedic and there was a line to the door and get to the counter 5 min past my arrivel and they made me reschedule. For another 2 weeks.
