A great group of caring, dedicated, and professional doctors and staff. My family has been under their care for approximately four decades. I highly recommend this clinic.

Hands down, best clinic in town. I have had Christie Mitchell as my PCP since 2011. I have received top notch care! It is wonderful to have a doctor that cares about you as a person and never rushes through appointments. I have been seen for urgent issues as well as annual exams. The front office is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. As someone who has worked in the medical field and in a busy medical practice, I know how much they are juggling behind the scenes. Billing and payments are handled very professionally and I love their online platform for reviewing my records and paying bills. The nurses (especially Katelyn) are so engaging, kind and competent. I could not recommend this clinic more!

Bozeman clinic is hands down the best clinic I have ever been to, I have had the privilege to be going to this clinic since I was a child and now my son and husband go here as well, although Dr Mitchell is my primary Dr ( and she is by far one of the best most caring Drs in bozeman) I have had the privilege of seeing all the physicians here and they are all on the same page and treat their patients as if they are family. And the nurses!!! I can not say enough good about the nurses!! I have had the privilege of seeing all of them as well, and I feel so comfortable and at ease with ALL of them!!.There are times that you may have a longer than average wait time but I guarantee you the wait is worth it!Its rare that you actually look forward to seeing your Dr and nurses and I am blessed enough to say that I do:)!Michelle Daley.

Just established care here and was so relieved to have (finally!) found a place I love and can confidently recommend to anyone after have 15 years with an incredible physician who left recently. I saw Amy Braaksma. I havent ever seen anyone who isnt a DO for primary care and Amy was phenomenal; she is a DNP. I never felt rushed and also appreciated that they have a lab right there.

If you need actual medical services just dont go here... I was Amys patient for a year. I am a mother of a 1 year old toddler and I have severe migraines for the past 9 years and a family history of brain aneurysms. I moved to Bozeman started bring seen here for my migraines.Amy prescribed me the latest migraine medications and put the nurse in charge of working with my insurance for my prior authorization and the nurse flat out refused to fill out my prior authorization I kept calling for 2 weeks and she kept lying to me that she already filled and submitted I finally called the insurance company and the said they didnt receive a thing and when I went to see the nurse at the practice she refused to fill my form yelled at me said I was bothering her and it was time for her to clock out. She called me a demanding brat and said the insurance will never authorize the medication cause its too expensive and she wasnt gonna waste her time trying.I felt really defeated. I get over 10 migraines a month and Ive tried everything from botox to acupuncture and now there something that is most likely going to help me and my family and this woman demonized me for wanting that much! I explained that I couldnt even raise my child like I want to because I was in pain atleast 10 days a month. I cant continue with my masters degree because of my migraines and she simply didnt care. Bare in mind I wasnt trying to get my insurance to authorization opiates or anything like that. The medication is simply a protein blocker that blocks the protein which causes migraines.I ended up seeing a different doctor at Bozeman creek and she was so kind and understanding and really took time to write a letter to the insurance and had the insurance authorize the medicationHowever for one month I had to pay 2 thousand dollars to buy the medication at full price because Bozeman clinic refused to do their job.

I recently saw Dr. Mitchell as a new patient to the clinic and I was very impressed with her and the staff. Dr. Mitchell and her nurse, Kaitlin took the time to get to know me and ask questions about my medical history. Very friendly and professional. I highly recommend The Bozeman Clinic.

Im not a fan of this clinic. The only reason Im staying w/ them is because I have several referrals out and I dont want to be lost in the system. If I had to pick again, I wouldnt pick them at all. The location in convenient; parking isnt a problem and they do have extended hours. I just cant give them more stars.

I left my appointment today feeling very upset. When Dr. Benda’s nurse took me back to the room I expressed concerns about my mental health. I told her that my anxiety and depression has been substantially worse than usual lately and that I would like to speak with the provider about it during my appointment. She responded by saying, “Oh honey, being a girl is hard”. I found this incredibly condescending and inappropriate. This was also after reviewing my medical history and medications, so she was aware that I suffer from anxiety and depression, among other things.I don’t think that any of this information was relayed to Dr. Benda and, if it was, it was never brought up. Dr. Benda was very kind throughout my appointment for the other issue that I was there for. However, after my interaction with his nurse I wasn’t even comfortable bringing up the issue on my own. I left feeling belittled and blown off.I am giving a rating of 2 stars because I have had good experiences with Dr. Roberts and his nurse in the past. If I was basing my rating solely off of today, I would only give 1 star.

They seem to care more about their checkbooks then your health. I am just recovering from a terrible injury that had me down for 3 months but all they care about is a 150$. And instead of asking to make a payment, I was demanded.

I currently see Dr. Steven Roberts, my experience with him has been the best of my life. I came from Portland Oregon with a very difficult medical complication. Portland is considered a highly advanced medical area and I was treated like cattle at over 8 different facilities, these places where supposed to be the best of the best, Harvard medical graduates, naturapaths, physical therapy, you name it, Ive tried it. Dr. Roberts was very polite, listened, gave valuable feedback back, and came to a conclusion that helped more than anything in the last 8 years. He simply took time to talk and listen. I love this office and these people. Thank you Dr. Roberts.

Well, unfortunately, Ive had 2 days in a row where I was forgotten about in the exam room. Yesterday, after my Physical with the physician (actually, nurse practitioner, and she was really good) I waited approximately 15-20 min for the regular nurse to return with follow up appts and instructions. Then, today I went in for the Shingles vaccine. After the nurse administered the shot, she told me to wait another 5 min and shed check back to see if I was having any adverse reaction. Half an hour later I just got up and left. Never did see the nurse again. I have received such excellent care here up until now. With my regular doctor (Dr Ramsey) retiring, I guess Ill look elsewhere for a new doc.

They make you pay up front even if you have great insurance that covers 100%. It is extremely stressful going there and checking out. My last prenatal visit, they had a calculator and were attempting to calculate how much I “owe” on a little piece of scrap paper. Apparently, they want money before my baby is even born, before I have any work done. They just want to have money in their account. Why can’t they just send the bills to my insurance first? Or send me a real bill? My insurance covers 100% and has a nice $6,000 extra HRA spending account to cover deductibles, etc. Office staff (Gini) does not understand. My insurance even tried calling to explain to them on a three way conference call. They won’t even send me a real bill that I can submit to my insurance. I have to pay for treatment not yet received, and no real bill just a little piece of scrap paper? It is so frustrating. I scheduled my last few prenatal appointments further out and canceled my next one just because I don’t want to deal with their mean non-understanding office billing staff. I’m sure there is some nasty writing on my account that I see them read while I’m checking out, and then they complain about prepayment, but where is the bill and my insurance has paid every time. Also I have close to $500 in their prepayment account. It is so frustrating. While the doctors and nurses are wonderful here, their office billing is terrible. I would highly recommend picking another primary care place. If I understood the prepayment philosophy there in advance, I would have went somewhere else.

I absolutely LOVE the doctors and nurses BUT HAT the supposed credit manager there. I have been a patient there for 20+++ years. My family is not rich what so ever. It used to be that we could make payments on our account until it was paid off. I got really ill in November of 2017 and finally went in January 2018. I ended up having a colonoscopy. GINI TANK the credit manager has been calling me all the time. Like she called me at 3:45 on a Wednesday and said I need to talk to you before I get off at 5. I had a migraine and had my sound off on my phone. She then called back at 8:30 Thursday morning. Still had the migraine and phone was off. She called back Tuesday as it was a three day weekend. I immediately called back and said I mailed a payment last week. She said no you didnt I havent gotten it. So I checked my account the next morning and it HAD been taken out of my account. I called back and chewed her out. I have been a patient there forever and now I dont want to go back because of the RUDE ILL MANNERED GINI TANK. SHE needs to be gone. She needs to be replaced as they are going to loose patients because of her.

The old supposed financial/insurance specialist lady Gini needs some major tune-ups on her system, if not brain surgeries within Deaconess itself, OMG. She can conjure up some figures, then relies upon her counting, first with fingers, then finishes up with calculator, no computer or software necessary. Then she claims money based on her illegible hand-written bill - I bet insurance companies wouldnt accept as a receipt LOL. My wife and I, during our monthly pregnancy check-ups, tried to explain our insurance benefits, but she never listens or perhaps just cant understand how insurance works, really. For their credits, doctors and assistants are very nice. All the patients visit there for reasons, and most likely go with worries and concerns. Why would patients have to feel annoyed and pissed off by this stupid personnel after we feel somewhat better being cared by doctors and assistants? Someone should turn off her switch and throw some dirt on her - oh thats mean - just pat her shoulder gently that her time has come at her backroom and replace with someone brighter and modern gadgets OMG sounds of her punching numbers on her calculator and her hand-written bills anymore are my recurring nightmares!!

As a healthcare professional myself, I expect that office staff would treat their patients with respect, be helpful, kind and compassionate, but unfortunately that is not what my experience has been with the front office staff at this clinic. The physicians and nursing staff are WONDERFUL, however. Im not sure what is going on there, but the front office staff as a whole do not seem to embrace what it means to be in the healthcare industry.

I tried to make an apt but I was told that I had to pay for 100% of the appointment up front, even though I have insurance. I was told I would be re-imbursed later if my insurance decided to pay for it. I was told their standard office visit was around $500.I hung up and went to another clinic who only charged my insurance $130 for an entire visit/physical.I really dont see why they feel the need to make a person pay out of their pocket when all they have to do is call and verify insurance. It is a check-up, not an expensive surgery. I think this is blatant class discrimination.Really interested to see what the state board thinks of this policy.

Having recently moved to Bozeman, I needed a new doctor, so I scheduled a physical at The Bozeman Clinic with Dr. Sonnenberg. Showed up 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork, so that Id be ready for my appointment at 10:00 a.m. First red flag was that I had to pay up front, which they say is their policy, and then they reimburse after insurance goes through. Fine. But guess what? They charged me $400! How is that the price of an annual physical? Whatever, I was already there, I paid it.Sat down to wait, and I wasnt concerned about the wait time after 10:15 came up since doctors are not always right on schedule, and I understand that. Then 10:30 came and I started wondering. 10:40 and Im thinking they forgot about me. 10:45 a.m., FORTY FIVE minutes after my scheduled time, Im finally called in.Nurse does a check in, family history, etc. I tell her that Im experiencing what is probably mild depression, and she makes note of that. Five minutes with the nurse, and she leaves me in the room to wait for the doc. I wait 10 more minutes, and she comes back, peeks her head in the door, and offers me a Bible for some light reading while I wait even more. I say no thank you. She asks if Ive read the Bible before, and whether I know about Jesus. I said NO THANK YOU, Im not religious. Nothing against her being religious, but how is it even legal for a person in the healthcare system to proselytize to a client?? I told her that what she was doing was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. She comes back at me with a claim that they advertise as a Christian clinic. Later research reveals nothing of the sort - not on their website, not in the name, nowhere. She leaves in a huff, and the doc finally comes in ANOTHER 10 minutes later. He asks me questions about my personal life and I tell him what he needs to hear so I can get a prescription for an SSRI (for mild depression). He leaves, and I kid you not, ANOTHER 10 minutes later I get let out of the room and checked out. Total clocked time spent with a person in the clinic: 15 minutes. Total time spent waiting: 1 hour 15 minutes. This is getting long so the rest are bullet points; post-script to my experience there:-$400 charged up front does not get reimbursed until 5 weeks later, after I have called twice to check up on the processing of the visit through insurance-Doc calls me to ostensibly apologize for the nurses forwardness, but ends up defending his nurse and their faith as a valid point of exposure for their patients who come to their clinic-Present day: I need to renew my prescription, but they want me to come in to get checked on again. This is not going to happen, obviously, so I put together paperwork to have them transfer my info to another clinic. I call to ask where to email it to, and they dont even have an office email address. How is this possible in 2015? Now I need to find time during business hours to physically bring them paperwork because they are digitally (and professionally) in the 1950s.I do not recommend them or their practice, and will not be giving them my business again.
