I came in to Bridger Eyecare for my yearly eye exam. They were impressively fast when taking pictures and examining my eyes, but what I enjoyed the most was not getting my eyes dilated! Bridger Eyecare offers advanced technology and takes a picture of the eye instead of dilating, so you can drive yourself home, no problem! My glasses came in 2 weeks and I am very satisfied with the look and feel! Thank you Bridger Eyecare!

So so awesome! I had several questions about a potential rare eye condition I may have and I felt like Dr. Roth totally listened and offered really helpful responses albeit my stress and concern! Also, Megan at the front desk has excellent communication and made me feel very comfortable too. I spelled out the prices of everything and she really helped me find the most affordable price. I was able to get in quickly as a new patient in dire need of a prescription update. The doctor and staff were warm and welcoming and gave me options and unbiased advice on selecting different contact lenses! Great to work with as well if your insurance doesnt cover vision!

We wont be going back. We have insurance and there was a mix up in the beginning that an exam wasnt covered. After calling repeatedly and talking to our insurance company we got everything figured out. Our insurance sent them a check to cover the exam. We are still receiving bills and got sent to collections for this bill that our insurance paid months and months ago. I call BCBSMT once a month and they call them and say you cashed the check in January quit billing your client. And the customer service with Christy is awful they blame us and wont deal with any of it. If you use insurance dont bother with them and always double check what they say!!!

Dr. Roth will work with you doggedly until he gets your prescription right. Christie is exceptional at fitting glasses. Be honest in what you are seeing and feeling throughout the process and these clinicians will work with you until you’re satisfied with your glasses and prescription.

Would rate 0 if I could. Staff is insanely rude. I had an issue with the billing were it was more than they originally told me (more than what they wrote down on my exit slip as well). Called and couldn’t get an answer so I went down to talk to the office. The front staff was terrible and rude. The manager told me ‘that’s too bad’. Complete scam artists. Go to eyes on main if you want competent employees, accurate billing and timely glasses and contact orders.

I broke a contact lense while visiting Bozeman last week. I was in a panic as to how I was going to drive 800 miles home without being able to see out of one eye. Early Friday morning I showed up at Bridget Eyecare and explained my problem, in a very short time they called my eye doctor gave me a replacement and sent me on my way. This was my first time going to a more private, local eye doctor and Dr. Roth completely changed how I see getting my eyes checked. He was professional, efficient, and it felt so much more thorough than any exam I had had before. The entire staff was friendly and easy to work with, and I was in and out with a new prescription, contacts and glasses in an hour! I am so glad I switched.

I have been going to Bridger Eyecare since December 2017 and have had multiple visits through examinations before and following cataract surgery and subsequent refraction. I have been delighted with my care. I am a physician, so it is even more important to me that the medical care is outstanding in addition to the courtesy and efficiency of the office. The medical care provided by Dr. Roth is first rate. His evaluations before and after my cataract surgery were careful, attentive, patient and responsive. I am delighted with the surgeon whom he referred me to and the results of my surgery. The office staff are always courteous and efficient. Alicia sends reminders and records and is responsive to all questions. Refraction by Ashley and Sarah is perfect. I highly recommend Bridger Eyecare!

Its been almost 4 weeks and I still havent received my glasses nor have they returned my calls. They told me it would take 2 weeks tops. When I finally got a hold of them (they dont answer the phone nor call you back) they said I was supposed to receive a text which they never sent to me. While the ladies in there are very nice, its not the best customer service.

The front end staff are great. Tried to get my glasses right a few times; it didnt work out. I kinda had misgivings at the initial exam; it felt really rushed; I dont think Ive ever had an exam that fast. Each exam after to try and get it fixed was even faster, I didnt really feel like I was being listened to. I have a very difficult prescription, I guess, but Ive never had issues like this with an eye doctor. If you have eyes that are -5 or worse I do not recommend this doctor.

I was very impressed with the doctor, and the employee that helped me pick out my frames. I havent had my prescription in 5 years, and its been one of the most stressful things I have experienced.Along with the good, I must acknowledge the uncomfortable. I was very put off by the receptionist. I picked up a vibe that I am better than you are. When asked about my hobbies, I questioned, Why does that matter? She made me feel like if I didnt answer, I would be refused service.I am Native Bozemanite, and Fourth generation Montanan. I answered, Im a Civil Rights Activist.I am used to being attacked for that. Please check your snooty attitude at the door!Thank You again, to the professionals that did me a great service! Dont ever take your eye sight or your privilege for granted. We are all in this together.

I made an appointment for February and it was set for March of the same day. The weather was bad that day and people were cancelling appointments allowing them to fit me in. I wonder if that would’ve been the case if people didn’t cancel.Also, my prescription came in wrong. I was told that is was a lab error, but when she was initially assessing the problem it sounded like she didn’t check a box.I understand mistakes happen and it doesn’t matter whose end it was on. What matters is the fact when I put on the glasses and told her “this isn’t the correction I was seeing in the exam room” she completely disregarded me and told me my eyes needed to adjust. I sat for 5 minutes trying to explain to her they weren’t right, but buckled at her constant reassurance that they were right. I had to return after having other opinions at work that they weren’t right.After visiting them a third time they were quick to make up for the time I had to take off work to correct the mistake. I am impressed with their want to satisfy their customers. As far as consistency they could absolutely work on it. Having an inncorrect appointment time and wrong prescription (if it was from their end) seems like a lot of mistakes for one patient. Maybe it was just bad luck on my end, but it seems they could be a little more careful when it comes to documenting considering the two mistakes.I asked them to listen to their patients more as they know what they’re seeing out of the lenses. Which she was quick to justify with the “it takes a couple weeks for you eyes to adjust”.The reasoning for the 3 stars is not listening to me initially and inconsistency. However, I am really thankful they made it right. I plan on continuing going, but if I am to experience another issue. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I would like to start by saying that the staff at this location were very nice and personable. They were able to fit me in sooner than other locations, and my appointment only took about 15 minutes for an update in prescription.That all said, I am extremely displeased with how much the service cost, and with how the situation was handled by the staff.I was charged $160 for an update in prescription, more than $10/minute. This was all out of pocket of course, because only after my prescription was updated was I told that they didnt accept my insurance. Upon asking other locations what their rates were, I found that I was overcharged by more than $60, even without insurance.Needless to say, I will not be recommending this location to anyone, nor will they be receiving my business in the future.

The doctor had very little patience for my 5 year old and seemed like he just wanted to be done with the entire appointment.Very poor customer service, office told me 2 weeks for my sons glasses to be finished. Drop them off two weeks ago called today to check on their status, glasses were just received at their lab in Ohio, I now have to wait another 2 to 3 weeks or longer because they do not have an estimated delivery time for me. Staff was rude when I inform them I would need to bring in my sons frames for the lenses rather than buying frames in house and told me if the lab broke the frames , they were not at fault. Over all, I should have just ordered from Zenni, it would have been faster and a better experience.

My nine-year-old son had gotten something in his eye and was very uncomfortable and very anxious about someone touching his eyes. Bridger Eye care was able to get us in immediately which I was very thankful for. However the doctor didn’t introduce himself, was very impatient with my son and gave him the “do you want me to help you or not” statement when my son shied away from when he reached for his eye. When I told my son it was okay for him to ask the doctor to tell him what he was going to de before he did it, the doctor asked me to leave the room. I was apauld! While the doctor was able to remove the debris from my sons eye, I would never return here as I found him to be very rude and unprofessional, especially to be working with children.

They just lost my business. They scheduled me in for an appointment at 8:00 a.m. At 8:20 a.m. still sitting and waiting. This is just to get my daughters glasses fitted. Mind you there were no other patients their. I expressed that this was very unprofessional on their part. Not only was I missing time at work, but my daughters were missing school. I was rudely told someone was coming from Livingston and would be there soon. Why would you schedule an appointment at 8 a.m. and not have the appropriate staff there for it?!?!?! Needless to say the person didnt get there till 8:45 a.m. this place isnt worth the time or money.

B.E.C. is selling a single pair of trial contacts for $20 while other offices dont.For 15 years I have been getting yearly eye exams because I was told It was against the law to buy prescription contact lenses without a valid prescription.For that reason, if I run out of contacts before my yearly exam, I ask my doctor for a trial pair to get me through until my appointment, since legally I cant purchase more until my exam. This is a service that most (if not all) eye doctors provide.Bridger Eyecare, however, is charging their clients $20 for one individual pair of contact lenses, without a current prescription, even though each lenses clearly states NOT TO BE SOLD INDIVIDUALLYWhen asked to wave their $20 fee for trial contact lenses, I was met with hostility and frustration, and after requesting an explanation, I was asked to leave.If you are a patient at Bridger Eyecare, and have paid $20 for a trial pair of contacts, you are being taken advantage of.

A few weeks ago, I visited Dr. Roth and staff at Bridger Eyecare. I had been having some pain in my right eye and other symptoms that concerned me. Dr. Roth examined my eyes for a very long time and put me through many tests. New glasses were prescribed. I was still concerned about my eye, so he examined me again, weeks later, to assure me and ease my anxiety. Each person there, from the receptionist, to the assistants, were very kind and knowledgeable. I really thought the Doctor was nice and prompt, but picking up glasses was a really bad experience. I do have Medicaid and was treated by the technician like I did not have an IQ nor had I ever worn glasses before. Im sure if you dont have Medicaid she would have treated you with more respect. I found that you have to make an appointment to pick up your glasses, then make you wait when they have no one looking or getting glasses fitted, just to find out you dont need them fitted and she just wasted your time. It was not what I was expecting after the Doctor was so nice.

Lacy was really nice and went out of her way to help me when my glasses were hanging on by a limb. The dr was very pleasant and knew what he was talking about and I felt like I could really trust him. The office is very modern looking and very up to date and thats not something ive really seen being in Bozeman. Will definitely be coming back next year! Thanks for the help guys!

Doctor seemed unsure of what he was doing. I went in a total of 3 times for the same thing and was charged over $500! They had told me in the beginning that it would go through my insurance, and it didnt. Then they refused to work with me to get the issue resolved. I am not impressed!
