Shayla and her esthetician Andrea traveled to Livingston, Montana to do hair and makeup for me on my weeding day as well as my mom and sisters. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Prior to meeting her in person she was incredibly easy to communicate with and always responded promptly. I loved that she was so transparent about her pricing which I felt like was incredibly reasonable for her quality of work. I am from out of state, so I didnt have the opportunity to do a trial run, but my hair and makeup still came out so well! The girls arrived about fifteen minutes early which was super helpful to keep us on schedule, and they were both extremely efficient. My sister and I commented that we have both been in weddings were hair & makeup has caused delays, but the opposite was true with Shayla and we were all finished before we needed to be. As for the quality of her work, I felt like a princess on my fairy tale wedding day. She made everyone feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin. I cant recommend her enough!

Shayla was AMAZING! We got married last month in Paradise Valley so she came to the house and did my hair/makeup, as well as hair and makeup for my mom and sisters. We had a great consultation a few days prior — makeup was gorgeous (I ended up buying a lip color she’d recommended!) and our hair styles were all elegant. Loved our experience!

Shayla drove to Big Sky to do my wedding hair and makeup in December 2019. She also did hair and makeup for my mother and mother-in-law. I absolutely loved how I looked and so did both of my mothers! Shayla did an incredible job and is so very talented. I could not recommend her enough. I was unable to do a trial beforehand as we were coming to Montana from out of state, but Shayla knew exactly what I wanted and she made me look beautiful for my day.

I first heard about Leah when asking around for a good stylist and makeup artist for an upcoming photo shoot. She came highly recommended and did an amazing job on hair and make up for both our male and female models. Her calm demeanor put them both at ease while creating a subtle yet beautiful look which photographed perfectly. As a wedding photographer I have seen how important make up can be, done wrong it can produce hideous colors when photographed. Leahs work was perfect! Not only do I recommend her to clients but now no one else can cut my hair. Shes that good!

Shayla was friendly, professional, and flexible - she was helpful and understanding when I had to reschedule my original date due to covid. I can be pretty particular, but Shayla rolled with it, even switching up my hairstyle on the day of when I had changed my mind since the trial. Leah Gautsch was an amazing stylist for our event! She was prompt and prepared, and her attitude made everyone relaxed. She has a wonderful personality that shows in her work, as the models were looking and feeling wonderful after their time with Leah. She highlighted the natural features of the models and made them look even more beautiful than they did when they walked through the door. Leah is amazing!

Shayla is completely amazing!!! She’s so sweet and really, truly cares about her clients and their wants and visions. She has done my hair and makeup for my engagement photos, an anniversary session, and she killed it with my wedding makeup!!! I felt so beautiful!!! And even though the morning of my wedding my phone died so I didn’t wake up on time and get everyone up!!! We started getting ready late due to Us sleeping like rocks that morning! Shayla didn’t get upset, and didn’t make us feel bad she rolled with it and we all looked stunning and everything worked perfectly! Definitely recommend her services!!

I am new to the area and finding a new hair stylist is terrifying. Especially when you have hair that is blonde and has turned brassy/orange from neglect, grown out and significantly damaged. After a lot of research I picked Shayla and wow Im so glad I did!! She made me her last appt of the day so it wasnt rushed and she could really focus and fix my mess. Not only is she a talented hair stylist but shes so incredibly kind and sweet! I cant recommend her and her business enough!!!!

Not impressed with their time management during the wedding, arrived and started late, and didnt come close to finishing on time. Missed helping my daughter dress due to this and her first look and artist had to rush through my makeup as wedding was due to start. They made a mistake in quoting the final payment at the wedding. My daughter paid the day of the wedding, but it was an amount quoted in error by the company. When Shayla realized her mistake she proceeded to message my daughter the NIGHT OF HER WEDDING and the two days following, threatening to send her to collections by Friday if not paid in full by then. Very UNPROFESSIONAL

My sister just got married and used beauty and the belief for the bridal party hair and makeup. I will say their work was good, everyone looked good... but based on other issues I would NOT recommend them! When I got my hair done I wasn’t sure about the finished product... and when I asked for something to be fixed I was made to feel like I was being difficult... but more importantly They started late and Shalya knew and confirmed via text that everyone had to be done by 230pm, but she told her staff 4:15 (the wedding started at 4)... I have been waiting to help my sister into her wedding dress my whole life... but because they were late and did not guide us to having the bride and myself done first (which had been specifically discussed)...I completely missed helping my sister get dressed for her wedding. Her first look was supposed to be at 2pm and I was still in the makeup chair at 215... that’s when the stylists realized they had been told the wrong time and they expressed displeasure aloud with shayla and then said ‘well we can whip the rest out’. During this time My sister was stressed because of the time and others helped her into her dress. At the end of the event I was present when my sister asked the balance of services and she wrote a check for the amount stated. On my sisters WEDDING NIGHT Shayla texted saying she made a mistake and had showed them another brides balance... that the amount was more... Shalya then texted the following two days with increasing urgency... my sister responded (and mind you my sister works near them in the same town...she wasn’t going anywhere) and said she wanted to review a few things about the service and would be in contact.. never said she would not pay the balance. Shayla sent additional messages and then threatened to send her to collections if the check wasn’t received by the end of the week (this is all within 4 days of the wedding) Seriously!?!?!? What if my sister was out of the country on her honeymoon. Completely unprofessional and downright harassment. Maybe she doesn’t have enough money to pay her employees but that is her fault... she should have told my sister the right amount the night of the wedding and not confused her was another bride. Bottom line.. if you want to look good but don’t care about being late to your wedding and harassed... hire beauty and the belief) 😡
