At first I was delighted with this place and loved the massages.. However, unfortunately, communication became a serious issue. The 2 ladies at the reception only speak Korean and very limited English. The masseurs only speak Chinese. After going there for months with the same masseur, I wanted to ask him if he could see any improvement. The receptionist called him out and tried to ask him using gestures and saying good over and over again pointing to my shoulder. The masseur went back inside and, apparently, thought the lady was trying to tell him the massage wasnt good which was not true.. After that he refused to give me any more nassages thinking that I was not happy with him. He was quite offended. I have witnessed other customers being very confused. I can understand and like the fact that talking in the massage rooms is discouraged but...we should be able to communicate through the receptionists out in the waiting room.

I absolutely love this place, the receptionist, and the masseurs (how does one plurarize this masculine French word in English??). Anyway, 10/10 recommend!! The place is clean, quiet, with beautiful decor, and you get more for the money. Very relaxing experience.

Could not wait to get out of BAO.Yes, the reception area is beautifully decorated - very Zen .... but inside, I was appalled to see how close the massage beds were placed next to each other.The massage therapist working on the customer next to me had his backside in my face ....it was that close in proximity!Then the same massage therapist knocked over my handbag spilling the contents on the floor.There were like five other employees just milling around the customers some sans masks.Not a remotely relaxing much less a Covid safe experience.

The guy didn’t speak English. He came into the room when I had my shirt off to tell me I was getting under the wrong towel. The pressure was very rough. I had asked him to lighten up, but he didn’t understand me. He was a smoker I could smell it on him and he kept coughing. I had never been there before so I didn’t know you had to pay cash for tip and they would not let me pay on my card. I was not going to pay a fee at the ATM to tip for such awful service. My back today is extremely sore and bruised. I will never return. Oh and they had the nerve to ask my friend if I was going to leave a tip and why I wasn’t. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

COVID hot spot. Sat in lobby for 20 mins waiting and 3 Karena walk out of the massage room with no masks. So you have 12 beds and 12 masseuse and you let people not wear masks. You are a super spreader. You should be shut down

I was given 2 spa treatments more than a year ago and when I call to see if I still can use it I was told No. I said because of covid I didnt want to use the facility. The gift certificate was good for a year too bad and hung up. Not good.

I am extremely happy with my massages 💆‍♀️here. Last massage was done by Wang and it was amazing. He definitely found my problem and helped me to get better. He can be very strong, great deep tissue for 90min. Every massage therapist it has been absolutely 💯👌amazing experience. I totally love it..

Used to be my favorite place and always had a good experience until today. I had a therapist who was hitting my bones and many endangerment sites. I stopped the massage because he was at great risk of hurting me seeing as he didnt seem to know how dangerous massaging over rib bones can be. I asked to have a different therapist and at the end they still wanted me to pay the full price for an hour when I spent half the massage in pain. Wh n I examined I was not comfortable paying for the first part of the massage seeing as it was painful and I had to stop it they yelled at me and told me to never come back then chased me to my car to lecture me about how rude I was because they had to pay him. I am not going to pay to be injured. Back to hand and stone for me. They know how to treat customers. How rude you were to me!!!!

I would not recommend this place if you have a preference on the gender of your masseuse (the person massaging you). Every single time I have made a reservation with this place (usually made with more than one week notice), Ive specifically requested having a female person massage me as I am a female and am extremely uncomfortable with a male person massaging me. Every single time I am there June, one of the staff, insists on having a male person massage me. Its triggering (upsetting), unprofessional, hurtful, inconsiderate, and in my opinion inappropriate. I make sure when I make the reservation (Ive made reservations with an employee named June and a person named Mae) I confirm who I speak with and that Ive requested a female person to massage. Then when I show up, they say they dont have females to massage me. This last time I was there, I became so upset because I had confirmed itd be with a woman, was looking forward for about a week and a half for a massage, and when I got there June once again insisted on having a man massage me. I ended up walking out, tearing up because I had tried to give this place so many chances. I am not going back there anymore and would not recommend anyone else to either (if you have a preference on the gender of the person massaging you).

After I schedule an appointment I was told that I wasn’t even on the appointment books because I was two minutes late to the appointment that I apparently didn’t have they took another customer and the lady said what do you want me to say this is the owner who schedules the appointments herself now they have the eyelash thing and facial next-door which the facial lady is very sweet she doesn’t amazing job but the girl who does the eyelashes it’s just as Unprofessional as the owner of the foot spa I would highly recommend if you don’t wanna headache to go somewhere else

Wow! I really didn’t expect it to be like walking in to another planet but the ambience was there for sure. Big cool glowing Buddha in the middle which I didn’t see most of the time because my eyes were closed. A little freaky if you’ve never been somewhere like that but you’ll get used to it. 🤣 You’ll be back! Soooooo good.

I am absolutely horrified by the entire experience. Having received massages all of the world, I have never had a breast massage. No one has ever even asked me if I wanted one. This guy just began rubbing my breasts aggressively without asking permission. This happened repeatedly and in many different ways. I was in such shock that I never even said anything at the time. Having had a few days to process what happened, I will absolutely do what I can to ensure that no other woman have to go through what I did. I have bruising on my breasts as well, which is now just a reminder how horrifying it was.

These massages are very budget friendly, therefore I can excuse the lack of professionalism. What has me never going back again was the fact that I could not charge my tip on my credit card this time. I have been there twice before and changed tips with no problem. When I went to tip today I was firmly told no with no explanation. I used the ATM that charges $1.99 fee to pull cash. I’m an African American woman and I’m already traumatized, so I will not go somewhere I feel I may have been discriminated against.

I have been going to BAO for over 3 years and the massage therapists have always been courteous and professional. Never inappropriate. I highly recommend this spa.

I really like this place decently priced. Can’t notice others next to you, the Masseuses range in experience. Some are great some are decent. I would get the $45 massage and tip $15. Only negative thing is lady at front always asks “you going to tip good?” On a $55 massage 20% is $11. I guess they expect you to tip 35-50% here.

Not a massage place. More like a foot rub place. Then they demand tips of 20% irrespective of your satisfaction level. Will not be back.

I’ve had an extremely stressful week, I scheduled the massage on the recommendation of a friend and it was awesome! My daughter was home from college and I treated her to the one hour massage also. The masseur knew almost instinctively where to find the tension hidden in my body without me having to say a single word. I’ve never had such a great massage for such a great price. I’m definitely returning.

Great massage... a bit pricey for what they offer. I know a few places that offer the same exact services for about $10-$15 cheaper.

This place is so fun! You dont quite know what youre walking in to at first, but when youre lead through the doors to your massage chair the ambience takes you to another place! We take all our visitors here for a fun out of the box and relaxing experience.

Though the setting is very tranquil the service was unsettling. I scheduled an appointment for my boyfriend three weeks ago and made a quick visit to get a feel for what he should expect upon his arrival. I noticed wine and glasses arranged in the waiting area and inquired as to if the wine is an additional charge. I was told the wine is for groups only. This didnt add up, but I had little time to question the response. When we arrived today I noticed a young lady in the corner having a glass of wine. You can guess that she didnt appear to be a part of a group. I asked again about wine being offered and was told wine is not offered. At the end of my boyfriends service he informed me that he had not been offered a glass of wine. I called to inquire - again - about the policy of offering wine. This time the young lady told me that wine is offered to anyone that asks. Realizing the game she was playing I simply explained that it was apparent that I was being treated differently. I patronized the business and my boyfriend left a tip because thats the proper etiquette, however we will seek a business that can show us that our patronage and satisfaction is valued and just as important as any other customer.

My husband went to do the massage and found it horrible, he paid for 60 minutes, but he was released after 40 minutes, not to mention that he stopped all the time to look for things. We do not recommend it, we have already visited several spas, and I say, this is not worth it! Horrible service.

This place is so relaxing - you need to go and spend some time on yourself! The prices are right on and affordable, staff are very friendly and accommodating and the spa is CLEAN! I am obsessed with cleanliness and even the slightest sign of not being up to par I couldn’t stomach but this place is great. Lovely decor and just overall a very relaxing experiencing start to finish.

I just had another fantastic session with May this evening. She is one of the best therapist that I have ever experienced. Her pressure is always just right, she makes sure you are comfortable throughout the massage and always checks with you to ensure the session is most relaxing.If you need some down time to relax, rejuvenate and recharge I would strongly suggest making an appointment with this amazing lady.

Called 20 prior to set appointment came in and was immediately introduce to the masseuse. He gave about a 20 minute neck back arm hand massage proceeded to the foot massage and then upper leg stretches for $31! amazing price For a piece of heaven on earth I feel new. I highly recommend Fang

I went for a 90 min that my husband got me for Mothers day and this was the most amazing massage I may have ever had. My whole body feels brand new. Jerry used just the right pressure and found all of my trouble spots without me even telling him where I was hurting. This is totally worth it. This place is amazing! I took my sister who came in from Georgia and her daughter-in-law for a hour session & they loved it. We left feeling renewed and balanced. Will not be going back to this place. There are far too many foot spas in the area. We scheduled a 75 mins massage just to be told they aren’t able to do it and we would have to wait 60 mins. She offered to give us a stone massage. The massage itself was rushed and not the best one I’ve had. After the massage I tipped 10% only for the receptionist to say that’s not enough. I asked for change for a 20 dollar bill and she gives me two 10 trying to make it more than what it should’ve been. Sorry during these times everyone is experiencing hard times and for her to be rude.

Poor customer Service! I do not recommend.I was told by the receptionist to tell the massage therapist that if I want lighter or deeper pressure for a foot massage. I told Therapist “John” but to no avail. He continued as is. Maybe he was tired. It was mostly rubbing and light strokes. I could barely feel pressure most of the time. I don’t believe there was any reflexology. As I checked out I explained my dissatisfaction to the receptionist. It was a different receptionist than when I arrived.All she said was, “John is a good therapist. Next time tell the receptionist you want it deeper.”Duh, I told the person who needed to know!There won’t be a next time! They should have made good somehow with me. Poor customer service! There was a person next to me who said her therapist had very strong hands. I should have walked out in the beginning.

Buyer beware. This place is awful. I have given them over a month to address my complaint and have been ignored completely. I went in June 23rd with a headache. The second therapist took it upon himself to yank my neck and crack it to the left. 2 hours later my neck started to hurt. I went in and told June. The next day my chiropractor said neck was in spasm. The following day I was in so much pain I went to urgent care for relief. After about a week and multiple visits to chiropractor the spasm went away. I simply asked that I be reimbursed for my chiropractor visits and theyve ignored me.I do not have time or energy to pursue this, but people should know they are taking a risk.

I’ve had hundreds of massages in my lifetime, from luxury resorts to the strip mall franchise, and most were great, but nothing really stands out. Except three. One was in Japan, where I thought I was being tortured, but walked out of there feeling like a wet noodle (a/k/a amazing); the other was in Oklahoma City, of all places, before my wedding day - all of the stress and tension just melted away; and the third was tonight at BAO. Holy WOW, Bao! I’ve been here numerous times, but I’ve never had Wong as my masseuse. He found the precise pressure points, seemed to know exactly where my pain was, and exactly how to relieve it. All in just 60 minutes. I’ll ask for him every single time from now on, and if you can stand a very strong, sometimes painful, deep tissue massage, then I highly recommend you see him too!! I left feeling like that wet noodle again, mixed with a bowl of jello, walking on clouds. Definitely in the top three of all my experiences - EVER! Two thumbs up, high fives, kudos and superbly done, Mr. Wong!! 🙌

Good massage not the best In this area but my reason for this review was the lady in the front, as soon as the massage was done I left went to pay the bill and leave my tip, the massage was $33 and I had $39 cash so I left the $6.00 tip. A tip of my choosing. The lady say no that not enough! (Word for word) am I said it’s 39 the massage is 33 and 6 is for tip and she said needs to be bigger tip. Well either way request an amount for a tip is wrong. On other note the lady smelled like a cigarette

I just left your location, and your receptionist was RUDE and seriously lack in customer service skills. First, your website stated Walk-in welcome, but to be on the safe side, I called to make an appointment. The lady who answered the phone tone of voice was unwelcoming, but since I live in the area, I still made the appointment. When I got there at 5:25 PM with my son, she told me my appointment was only for one person. I told her that it is for one person, and my son will wait for me in the waiting area. To which she responded: Look around, do I look like I have a waiting area? And I told her, I dont have anybody to leave him with, and she looked at me like oh well. First, WHAT KIND OF A RESPONSE IS THAT??? Are you freaking kidding me? Do you mean you never had someone walking into your business with a grown child with him or her??? Do you mean NOBODY in your managing staff had the BRIGHT IDEA that this situation might occurred? For a first time, seriously disappointed and will never set foot there again. I have always gone to Foot Heaven Foot Spa in Okeechobee Blvd, and THEY HAVE ALWAYS ACCOMMODATED MY SON AND I. Moving forward, I know where to go.

This was my 5th time at Bao. I treated my son for his birthday and noticed extra special treatment to others. Other customers were offered water at the front desk and we were not. My son had the full body massage and was chargedregular $55.00 and the other gentleman $47.00. I will not refer nor return there again.

BEST massage EVER... these people know how to treat their clients. Their staff is amazing... You can have gentle or strong deep tissue massage... your choice.... I highly recommend this place.

Ive been here 3 times. The waiting room is very small and can get noisy and the door is constantly being opened so its hard to relax. Plus they dont have a bathroom in the waiting room... Only in the back, so people are constantly walking back and forth. I decided for Mothers Day it would be nice for my husband and I to take our mothers. We made 4 appointments one week in advance and went the Saturday before Mothers Day to avoid the crowds. Myself and the mothers went back a few minutes late as they were running behind, however they gave my husbands appointment away to a man that was 45 minutes late for his appointment. Thats unacceptable and shocking that they run the business that way! She tried taking my husband back 45 minutes after his scheduled appointment time, but my husband declined because he didnt want to keep the 3 of us waiting almost an hour for him. She ended up giving my husband a gift certificate for a free 30 minute massage... Even though she waisted an hour of his time (she should have given him a free hour to make up for her mistake). It upset me... But stuff happens! Ive had a terrible knot in my should for the past week, so my husband tells me to go because on Mothers Day people kept walking in and getting 30 minutes on their upper bodies. I called to make the appointment and was told it was fine and to come on over! I arrive 30 minutes later and was told that they would have to charge me extra just to do my shoulders for 30 minutes. She wanted to charge me $60 (mind you... They work on your upper body for about 25 minutes and then your legs and feet for the remaining 35 minutes and charge $31). How does that even makes sense?! Needless to say, I left and doubt Ill ever go back because that place is so unpredictable and not consistent! The moral of the story is they have very poor business practices. Dont do something one day and not the next day. Dont give away peoples scheduled appointments. And if you mess up... Do right by people! This business has a lot to learn and itll be interesting to see if they last. And FYI... I can go to Spa 360 down the street and have an hour full body massage for just a few dollars more!

It is much more than reflexology. The hour is split n between a seated back massage and foot reflexology. Calm and peaceful space, had a great masseuse.
