I chose this doctor because she is a young woman and I have all females as health practitioners. I was excited because she’s Indian and I spent time living in India and I thought we would have a great connection. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.I walked in the door as a new patient and there was no one in the lobby. I was putting my mask on and I was yelled at that my mask must be on before I walk in.First an extremely unfriendly staff. I’ve seen people who looked happier that were at a funeral . Then the doctor comes in the room. She’s dressed in a double face mask, a face shield, glasses and a surgical cap on her head, long sleeves and gloves like she’s treating a ebola virus. She seemed very nervous and uncomfortable. She spoke to me like she was a robot. No human connection whatsoever, which is so sad.Unfortunately this is what modern medicine is becoming. It’s not about the patient anymore. It’s an assembly line of bodies so they can pay their house payments.I called her out about it and told her she had no heart connections do it was very disappointing to me. She seems surprised, I guess no one never pointed this to her before. To her credit she said she was only trying to do her job and she apologized if she was doing something wrong. She asked if I wanted to get my blood work done there or somewhere else.I said definitely somewhere else. She asked me if I wanted to come back in two weeks to go over it or we could do it on the phone.I said definitely on the phone.I’m sure she’s a bright young woman and a good doctor but she would be better suited to work in a laboratory then dealing with patients which requires empathy and a pleasant personality.

Very abrupt. Seemed rude and inpatient. Maybe overbooked?
