I have been a patient of Dr. Gold and Shoenhaus for quite some time. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable doctors that actually take the time to speak with you and answer any questions that you may have. Not only are they gentle with you, they both have a great bedside manor, which these days is extremely rare, usually most doctors today send you out the door before you say hello. The staff is also great, they treat all patients with the utmost respect as well as treating all patients as people. This is a genuine office and if you have a need for this specialty, hop on over to their office, and I promise you, you will be glad that you did.

Amazing care and concern. I have been to her for two different issues with my right foot. She fixed the first one. When she found the second one had nothing to do with podiatry, she found someone who could see me immediately. Dr. Gold and his team are absolutely the best! They are very professional , accommodating and also very personable. He treated my brother many years ago with some serious problems and as soon as I had foot issues, I went to him. I needed surgery this year on my feet and had several other issues. I visited in June 2020 and found Dr. Gold knowledgeable, attentive, thorough, and pleasant to deal with. He genuinely seemed to care about my condition. He carefully performed two procedures (one minor, one a bit more involved), explained everything, gave home-care instructions, answered questions, didnt try to rush me out. Follow-up appointment was just as good, especially since my condition had improved. Front-desk staff and physicians assistant deserve praise as well.

Required immediate care and they had me in to their Boca office same day... I had the pleasure of being attended to by Dr. Kane and was impressed not only by her professionalism but her manner and caring about my injury.Follow-up was at Boynton office and my experience was equally satisfying. I started seeing Dr. Jodi Schoenhaus approximately 5 years ago. She worked with me to solve some problems in my left foot. She ended up doing surgery, but since then my left foot has been great. I have had plenty of surgery, but she was the first surgeon that came into the OR while I was being prepped for surgery and stayed by my side until I went to sleep.A couple of years later after I had my surgery, my husband had to have surgery on his foot too; she again did an amazing job. His toe is much better. The absolutely best thing I can say about her is that recently my husband had an arterial blood clot, but he wasnt presenting in such a way that it was missed when he was sent for an ultrasound. Our family doctor sent us to our podiatrist, so of course we made an appointment with Dr. Schoenhaus. She got us in right away and examined my husband but again he didnt present correctly so she did not catch it at first. She gave him steroids and an antibiotic in an effort to solve his problem and told us to come back in 1 week. We came back in 1 week and suddenly she knew EXACTLY what was wrong with him. Our appointment was at 9:20 am and we did not leave until Noon when Dr. Schoenhaus found a vascular surgeon who could see my husband the same day and could do the necessary testing. At this point my husband had reduced blood flow to his foot for more than 10 days Because of Dr. Schoenhaus quick thinking and unwillingness to give up my husband is alive and still has his foot. We will both be eternally grateful to Dr. Schoenhaus and her team of professionals.Not only do I recommend her, I have already referred several people to her and will do it again.

I have tendinitis of the left foot for over eight weeks.The first appointment their was no X-Ray machine and waited two weeks for a follow up appointment to take an X-RAY and there was no fracture or any treatment recommended for what was diagnosisted by an orthopedic doctor that I have tendinitis.They billed Medicare my primary insurance .But there was $150 excess not covered .However, I have secondary insurance which I provided it was not billed.When I contacted the billing department I was told that my auto.insurance is responsible for the excess.Even though no auto accident was involved.They refused to resolve this issue.I was rudely treated and as this time not sure if there is still an unpaid balance?

Your diagnosis was spot on. You told me I probably would not need surgery. You are a surgeon, often surgery is first choice, and because of the treatment you prescribed we now know I will not need surgery. Thanks for your professionalism.

Dr. Jason Gold performed bunion and hammer toe surgery on both of my feet within a 2-week period during last December. He has not only shown his skill as a talented surgeon, but as a caring and gentle person, as well. He also has a great sense of humor. He told me thats because I was the one having the surgery, not him. I would recommend him and this practice to anyone who needs these services. Additionally, his staff is the best. We all know the staff can make or break the patient experience at any practice, and they are top notch at Dr. Gold’s office as well! I can wear shoes again, without pain😊!! Yeah!! My experience with Dr. Gold and his staff was phenomenal. I had a very complex sports related injury that hindered me from completing daily activities. I met with several doctors before Dr. Gold and did not feel comfortable with any of them, as they said my injury was “too significant” for them to treat. I am an athlete, so I am very particular on who I see healthwise. Moving forward, I got a second opinion from Dr. Gold...one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He went above and beyond to answer my extensive questions and concerns. His bedside manor, medical knowledge, and compassion was prodigious. I knew I found the right guy. About three weeks later I had the surgery, which essentially went flawless. During the recovery process Dr. Gold and Heather were there every step of the way. Furthermore, it has been seven months since my surgery and I am now stronger than ever. I am able to work out five days a week, attend school, and enjoy life. I am forever grateful for everything he has done for me. As a premed student I look up to this man; I aspire to retain the knowledge and care that you provided me and reciprocate it to others. Dr. Gold is an excellent Doctor Who shows tremendous concern for his patients. Not only does he have exemplary bedside manner, but even after your visit he demonstrates concern for your well-being. Recently, my husband was scheduled for an MRI of his foot and while at the diagnostic center it became clear that there was some question about what type of test they were supposed to do. It was the middle of a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and I placed a call to the doctor’s cell phone and he personally called back within five minutes. Now, that’s a damn good doctor!

My wife, Deborah, had both nails on her big toes damaged and was in persistent pain. A friend of mine, and a patient of Dr. Gold, called him to see if an appointment was possible. It was the Friday before Memorial Day. Dr. Gold was in surgery that morning and was not planning on seeing patients Friday afternoon. When he heard my wifes plight, he agreed to see her following the surgery.Heather, a very patient friendly person, checked Deborah in as Dr. Gold arrived.Care was administered which included identifying and treating the condition.During the treatment, he kept her informed of what was being done and why. He recognized her squeamishness and took extra steps to comfort her. This included keeping her in the office for 30 minutes before she indicated she was ready to leave.She was his only office patient. His demeanor was always warm, friendly and patient focused.Not enough thanks for Dr. Gold opening up his office and providing excellent care to my wife!

I was experiencing some vein discomfort which resulted in my google search for a local doctor. I decided to seek treatments with Dr. Schoenhaus. Not knowing much about her I appreciated her professionalism, knowledge and willingness to explain the procedure. Though apprehensive about the treatments due to the process; I had (2) successful treatments without incident. Dr. Schoenhaus encouraged me through the process as she worked quickly and thoroughly. Dr. Gold treated my broken ankle. I m a figure skater and broke it accidently on the ice. Dr. Gold a is a very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced doctor. He was also very positive and upbeat, which definitely helped during my injury. I never had to wait long and his office staff was also very friendly, and always willing to answer any questions.I did call with questions and always received a prompt response, I wore a boot for my ankle and did not require surgery. After being misdiagnosed twice by other well known specialist.I was told to seek yet another opinion. from the onset to set up an appointment Yvette was courteous, polite, and most of all not rushing me off the phone. when we arrived for the initial evaluation on time. We were treated warmly and were moved from the waiting room to the exam room Dr. Golds assistant Heather took x-rays and then Dr Jsaon Gold provided his professional opinion. Which was spot on as i write this well deserved review. I am recovering from the necessary procedure. 5 stars is not enough for Dr. Gold and his staff of patient professionals.

After recently braking my ankle the hospital assigned Dr. Jason Gold as my surgeon with complete success on the operation. The follow up care by Dr. Gold and Tony (his assistant) was thorough. His staff showed care and compassion. Heather,the office manager, is the very best and never left a question unanswered. If I ever need an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr Gold and his staff will definitely be my first choice.

Watch your wallet. Deceptive practices. Unprofessional. In the middle of my visit, Dr Shoenhaus cell phone rings. Its her mother arguing for 5 minutes about why she didnt pick up some grocery. Next, I have medicare, which pays 80% and I pay for 20%. They calculated my charge for my visit which I paid before leaving the office. They also asked me to sign a document relieving them of any liability which I refused to sign on the basis that I had a very routine office visit and they should be able to establish whether medicare would cover such a visit and they should know the price medicare will reimburse, since they carry medicare and do business with them all the time. You can probably guess the rest of the story...I got another bill saying I owed them more money than I had already paid for that routine office visit. I called and told them this is why I didnt sign the document...they tell you a low price on the phone then submit something different to Medicare, then back bill you. Very flaky!Response to your comment:You lack candor when you say It appears you were informed ahead of the limitations prior to your services. I was not. I was told prior to my routine office visit Medicare would cover 80% and I would pay 20% for those services. As I left, I was provided a bill which was 20% of the Medicare charge, which I paid prior to leaving. Your comment about your patients understanding how insurances work, is a feeble attempt to shift liability to your patients, when your patients receive your surprise secondary billing later in the mail.You should know the amount Medicare will pay for a routine visit which I would guess you have conducted hundreds of times. Also, you should know the price of any variances to a routine visit, appraise the patient prior to administering and charge the patient the mutually agreed additional services as the patient leaves your facility. Since you carry Medicare and you provide these services routinely, you are in a much better position to know what Medicare will reimburse. Your patients have no control over what you submit to Medicare for reimbursement. To shift liability to your patients for your implied lack of understanding of how Medicare operates, which is most likely your biggest payer and the nations biggest insurance payer, seems to be at best a disingenuous/profit driven system gaming and at worst deceit/fraud. I would suggest you familiarize yourself with Medicare reimbursements (if you dont really know) and become more transparent with your patients prior to service delivery about prices. Your patients know the 20th century medical business model where prices are not published and can vary significantly for the same procedures which definitely benefits the doctors and not their patients. We are 20 years into the 21st century and this old model is changing. You should catch up with the times!

Great experience. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff across the board--receptionist, tech and doctor. Was able to book an appointment on short notice, and they actually saw me before the appointed time. Would highly recommend. And I love the lamp in the waiting room!

Dr. Jodi Schoendhaus is absolutely amazing at her job! I came to her based on recommendations to fix a laser vein surgery I had 2 yrs ago with a different doctor, she didnt charge me an arm and a leg and was completely honest with me. She understood my issue with needles and fixed my legs with a short and painless injections. I would recommend her and her office to anyway that needs any type of foot and ankle issues especially vein treatments. The office staff is professional, open and friendly. They care about the patients more than the money.

I visited Dr. Gold for a foot injury and was taken in on very short notice. Digital x-rays were performed onsite and was provided with knowledgeable advise for quick recovery. His office is clean and modern. The office staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Gold performed surgery on my foot for a broken bone. I think he did it very well because it healed rapidly with a minimum of discomfort. He saw me several times after the operation to check on my progress and it was all done professionally.

My 12 year old daughters pediatrician referred her to a podiatrist for her flat feet so I called and was able to get an appointment for the next day! The office is beautifly decorated and the staff is kind and very professional. There was a less than 10 min wait from the moment I arrived to the moment Dr. Gold came into the room. He was very kind and has great bedside manners. The first glance he took at my daughters feet he immediately shared his concern about a mole that was on her toe and said it should be biopsied. She did have flat feet and we ended up getting the orthotics, (which now my daughter can’t bear to be without) they helped with the pain and foot rotation she was having. I appreciate all he did for her feet but I will be forever be in his dedt for going above and beyond the normal check up. It turns out that mole, he was concerned about was a cancerous mole! Had he not taken the time to check it out, it would have been missed by yet another physician that looked at my daughters feet before getting to Dr. Gold. I have been dealing with a painful neuroma on both feet for the last 10 years but recently it has become more painful. A do long distance triathlons and I spend many hours running, biking and swimming. Dr. Jason Gold suggested I get a cortizone shot. The pain went from 9 (1-10 scale) to a sporadic 3! I am soo happy with the treatment Dr. Golds is providing me. He suggested 2-3 sets of shots and I will go back for the next 2. I am in awe with how much the first cortizon shot has helped me.
