I just went from long hair to short and the owner, John, listened carefully to what I wanted and made some great suggestions about what would be most flattering for my thin hair. He took a long time with me and was VERY fussy . I could see he cared. Great experience. The cut is adorable! Highly recommend! Thank-you John!

Highly recommend Elan Salon. You wont regret it!I couldnt be happier with my highlights. John went above and beyond. He listened to what I liked and delivered. I received a combination of highlights and balayage. I like it to look very natural, especially, when its growing out. I have naturally curly hair and the cut looks great worn naturally or straight. He really is very knowledgeable AND talented.His daughter, Bella, does my daughters hair and it always looks great! My daughter is very adventurous with her color. I wish I was. Ill post some of her hair as well.

Bella, did any amazing job on my hair! Second time I’ve gone and sat with her. What I love about her is that she “gets me” right off the bat. I told her how I wanted my haircut and she delivered. She would consult with me every time she snipped some hair off and she also took her time to make it perfect! That’s something I noticed about the place, they really strive for perfection.

Edy is a God send! I showed her a few pictures and I was confident she could give me exactly what I asked for. She explained the process and why she chose the formula over another (even if I had no idea what any of it meant). My full highlight turned out better than I couldve asked for.... AND gave me such an amazing cut. Not only have I already seen growth, also I have been buying purple shampoo for years and had NO IDEA about BLUE shampoo and should only use BLUE for my hair. I had a whole new haircut and style with John. He did a wonderful consultation with me to see my thoughts on how I like to manage my hair. John took into account what best suited me and when he was done with the cutting he showed numerous ways to style it. I was a stylist years ago and immediately recognized what a talented hair ‘magician’ John is! He’s Really great and takes the time needed to be sure you’re happy when you get up from the chair. Elan Salon is a hidden gem! Best kept secret in the area! John Nero is the owner and an amazing colorist, stylist, and person. He always listens intently to what I want and consistently manages to get it done just as I hoped. His staff is friendly and accommodating, the salon is always clean, and you dont have to take out a second mortgage to pay for your new look!

After many different colorists I finally found one the place that did what I wanted. John is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly how to achieve the cool tone that I’ve been trying to get. John worked a miracle on my hair ! I never thought that my hair could be so straight and beautiful and soft but not only did he cut ,style and highlight my hair but he also did a keratin treatment for me for the first time and it absolutely worked like a charm !!! My stylist John (the owner) talked with me and, understanding that I am not very handy with styling tools or products,he proceeded to give me what I didnt even know I wanted: a style that looks good when I get up and when I get out of the shower. I just shake it out, style it with my fingers, maybe a little blow-dry action if Im in a hurry and BAM! Beautiful. And the color is young, fresh, highlights my face and complements my complexion. Way over priced I have very short hair got a haircut there it was ok not worth 65.00 dollars

Although I have yet to experience a day at Elan Salon , I would love to express how lucky they are to have their newest stylist Tiffanie . One of New Bedford Massachusetts finest. Ones gain is another persons loss , I have had the pleasure of having my hair done by Tiffanie for the past 10 years. She has nailed every cut, color, & style I have ever wanted or imagined in my mind. She never fails to give you the look your going for EVERYTIME ! So if your from the area traveling to the area or live in Florida & are willing to travel for a beyond satisfying day at a salon & with a Phenomenal hair artist , this is the place I recommend i promise you wont be disappointed .

Expressed that I wanted a nice stylish haircut. Did not want to look old but wanted to remain feminine. After spending 70.00 all I received was an extremely short boyish cut. No style what so ever. I am so upset. I received the same cut from hair cuttery for only 20.00. I will never go back to Elan.
