Best place I can work for so far. Everyone work as a team. I love all the residents, care for them, show them respect and I get the same respect back from them. Im happy to give them my times. I love what I do therefore Im happy to be a part of Colonial assisted living.

It was horrible for me. I was constantly refused bed making service by CNA Natasha, defying her Supervisors over and over. There was never fresh cold water in the courtyard. When the water cooler was empty and I went to the kitchen for cold water, I was refused and told it wasnt there responsibility. You could never, 95% of the time, locate a CNA or HHA. The nursing staff has no nurse. Even the head Medtech, supervising all the Medtechs, CNA and HHAS Has no medical training besides a certificate for handing out medication. I was refused delivery of my medications by this Medtech saying she doesnt have to and its my responsibility to go find her. WHAT?! Thats one of the reasons I lived there because Id forget!! There is a list of Resident Rights large in the lobby, one being to have dignity When someone refuses to do something as simple as make your bed but simply refuses, who ignores you when your speaking and looks past you or looks away? I felt extreme humiliation. To be denied fresh water, either by Kitchen or CNA staff also felt horrible. The Receptionists here a lot of things that are totally private,, even under HIPPA law but have no shame in speaking loudly around staff and residents and completely shares with colleagues as gossip material. This made me severely uncomfortable. It wS always like the game of telephone with final result being unrecognizable. I also experienced something horrible and I was devastated yet the attitude of the staff was angry and retaliatory until I moved out Saturday. The Regional Director even took my cats catnip and even after learning it was not Marijuana but catnip she refused to return or replace it! How do you get to take someones property and have the authority be able to get away with not returning it??? Why would Regal Park Colonial ALF allow her to basically steal it? Lastly, the quality of the food is absolutely horrible. Almost every dessert is canned fruit cup.. They do not serve any fresh fruit at all.. The cuts of chicken are dark w bone and consistently dry.. Everything they serve is drowned in salt (yea, even fish) The servings are tiny, the turkey bacon cheese, the salads soggy.. I have pictures to attach.. Please remember that this review is from MY perspective, MY personal lense and MY experiences and emotions and others might feel differently, perfectly safe and happy in Colonials care and Colonial is quite affordable as well but located in a horrible neighborhood backed against the train tracks with the shaking and the noise that train tracks bring. Their new Executive Director is working really hard to turn this around and her future ideas and projects sound really amazing and I wish her all the luck in the world because with her Regional Director, Linda, she truly needs it.

My Mother resides at Colonial Assisted Living and I am at peace knowing she is happy and well taken care of. The staff is professional, caring and gracious. I dont know how they do what they do, I call them Angels. My Mother is happy and I can be a daughter instead of a caretaker again. Thanks to everyone at Colonial Assisted Living.

So impressed with the cleanliness and friendly staff. I felt welcomed and loved the atmosphere. Staff was all friendly and Kerry made a point to make me and my family feel comfortable and welcomed.

The search for a home for your parent is not an easy decision, after several months I thought I had found a suitable place for mom, I was wrong, I was given a list of facilities to choose from that met our criteria, lost in another list of places, you currently cant visit, then I met Ricki & Jill with Colonial ALF at Boynton Beach. It was a Friday that mom was relocating to Colonial at Boynton, Jill was so determined to make sure the move was made after the preparations we had completed, that she drove to the facility and waited with me until 6:30pm and when they still made me wait for her medications Jill took mom in her car to Colonial. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by EVERYONE I met, they were all professionally dressed, and very friendly, helpful and courteous, I was already pretty relieved at what I saw but after I spoke to Mom she couldnt stop talking about how nice everyone there is to her, she enjoys the food and atmosphere so much more than the other place she was at. I cant thank Claudia and Jill enough for their help in making sure the paperwork was processed quickly and correctly. Thank you Colonial at Boynton, you made this much easier than I expected.

I love the facility because everyone is so passionate about the wellbeing of the residents. It’s all about them and their happiness. it’s Nice to have your family in a home that really care about them. Everyone that walks in these colonial facilities are treated as family. The staffs are super friendly and helpful from the point of touring to the point of moving in and every day that your family member is there, the facility works with you. It’s really a great choice.

I love the facility, I love the staff, and I love the residents. This place feel like home. Its beautiful. everyone is happy! Full of life always keeping active with activities. The food is wonderful.

Great place to work. I worked there for a short period of time. I had to leave due to family issue. I love the residents. Theyre friendly. The owner is very caring,the residents are her priority. I wish I stay there for very long time. .this is the first place if I have a chance, I would be back, working for the owner again.I wish the owner all success, she is caring, understanding owner anyone can be proud to work for.

THROUGH UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES AND DECLINING HEALTH I WAS FORCED TO MOVE TO THE FIRST PLACE THAT WOULD TAKE ME OR BECOME HOMELESS.If I had seen this place before taking it I think I wouldve preferred to live under a tree!!! How the good State of Florida allows this place to do business for sick and elderly folks is beyond my understanding. AND the so-called health department came to inspect and passed inspection!!! That just blew my mind.There is no organization at all. No one knows whos in charge of what. There are no emergency bells or buzzers in each bathroom, no way to call for help............In other words what would happen if a resident fell in the shower? He/she would lay there for many hours maybe days. No looks in our bathrooms!!!It just goes on and on. The plumbing system needs complete overhaul, for example: when I take a shower and adjust the water to a comfortable temperature, BAM! all of a sudden the water turns to near boiling and I scald myself. In addition to this my toilet bowl is not bolted to the floor so it tips when one sits on it!The list is too long to mention so Ill insert the worst such as the kitchen. Lacking is complete cleanliness. After eating, the table should be cleaned with an antibacterial solution, but instead Ive seen the aides just wipe each table, rinse the same so called rag, just spreading germs all over the place. Some of these folks have to be supervised because they are ill. (Example: one man blew his nose in his napkin and left it on the table.)The so-called chef should go back to school. There are more things to eat in this world than rice and beans! Im an American and I like American food! Example: one evening for dinner I was served a cup of soup and half a peanut butter sandwich. I cant tell you what they served me for THANKSGIVING DINNER. A plate of turkey heart and giblets covered with gravy and a side of macaroni cheese. I will swear this on a bible!!! I wish I could think of an explanation for this but it seems like its par for the course. Of course I complained, to no avail, again.OK, enough for now. Except for now, I have no blankets for my bed because there are not enough blankets so I have to cover up at night with my own throw. Im glad I brought it with me.Im writing this because Ive been an activist all my life, a psychologist with a BA. Ive done nursing while going to college. I have many certificates such as restaurant kitchen management, nursing home inspection, first aid, and was a commissioner for the handicapped in the Town of South Yarmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.Claire Moreau

Excellent facility. I have had the pleasure to meet the staff who have all been very pleasant and helpful. When I call the facility, the receptionist is friendly and professional. When you walk into the building, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The residents are all engaged in the various activities that seem to take place on a daily basis. The nursing staff is dedicated and caring and strive to do what is best to provide the maximum quality of care for each resident.

As an employee working here has been such a great experience. I have experience how the staff works so good with each other and also the love and compassion they show our residents. The love we have behind our doors is wonderful. I won’t ask for a better place to work.

I am an experienced. Case Manager in long term care . I found this facility to be top notch. The staff treats the residence like family and believes each one of them has a story. The place is clean, lovely and very homey. .Moat important the residents are cared for in such a loving way . The dining experience is wonderful as well. I would definitely recommend placement here .

The staff and residents here are amazing. They make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. I am blessed to be able to come to work here. I wouldnt chose to work anywhere else.

Visited this facility for placement for my father and was so impressed! It was extremely clean and the staff was very professional and caring. We were also invited to have lunch and the food was outstanding. Needless to say my father is very happy in his new home and I can rest easy knowing he is getting impeccable care! I highly recommend this lovely facility!

My dad is in this Assisted Living place and hes taking care of very well. He has advanced dementia and they are very patient with him. The owner Ricki, is amazing she cares for everybody in that place. The monthly fee for my dad is pretty fair actually very fair considering what other places charge. In this instance you get more than what you pay for

This place is just beautiful. When i walked into the facility the staff was friendly and warm. I toured this place for my mom. My mom is so happy living here and the staff treat like family. I can go home at night and know my mom is being well taken care of. There is no better feeling than that.

I was very reluctant and filled with guilt when it became obvious that my elderly mother Would require assisted living . This is the type of thing that you dread yet is inevitable . Mom is totally coherent and able to take care of most of her personal lives but after living with our family for The past 12 years It became obvious that she needed the help that assisted living could provide . I checked out several local places and was dismayed at the callous disregard for the resident and the laser like focus on money . I refused to put my mother in a place that looked at her as a walking $ . In frustration I gave up for a time but time kept marching on in the inevitable became immediate .Whats again I started doing research and found regal park which incidentally is located a corner mile from my house .With skepticism and caution my younger sister and myself went to investigate and we were shocked yet please by the reception we were given , The quality of the premises , And the over all ambience Of the facility . Everybody we met even the chef introduce themselves and demonstrated a genuine interest in both my mothers needs and my financial ability . Then I met Rikki, Who runs the place . This is a truly fantastic woman in every regard and between the 2 of us we negotiated a mutually beneficial arrangement on the spot and it was done .Needles to say my mother was less than happy but once we moved her into her beautiful single Room Which regal park helped furnish and decorate for her so she would feel somewhat at home remarkable thing began to happen , And my mother quickly adjusted quickly accepted and quickly became a part of the wonderful community that is regal park . There is so much more Id like to say about this wonderful facility but suffice it to note that I am 100% satisfied my mother is 100% satisfied And the staff at river park has let me know in Several ways and on several occaisions that they are grateful to have my humorous loving and wonderful mother in their community who has taken it upon herself to care for others less capable in keeping with her life long desire to give love and assistance .

My beautiful mother has lived at Regal Park for just over 2-1/2 years now and the experience has been excellent. The management is 100% committed to the well-being of each resident and they are constantly working to make what is already good, even better. I am able to put my head on my pillow at night knowing that my mother is in a safe and caring environment.

Just wanted to mention that my mother and I had an outstanding experience with Nicole, one of the facilitys representatives. She came to see my mother in Boca and spoke to us at length about my mothers placement. She was kind, patient, understanding and very sensitive to my mothers needs. Most of all, she listened carefully to our concerns. Nicole exemplifies the very best in customer service!

Just returned from visiting my mom, Grandma Annie. Since I live a long distance from her, my concern is always her well being. Regal Park has always provided comfort for me. Recently my wife became a patient at Colony Asst Living in Boynton Beach, since she has been in several homes in the last few years, homes much more expensive than Colony I have absolutely nothing but praise for this facility, the nurses, aides and other staff members have been wonderful taking care of my wife.s special needs. The executive director Ms Ellen Alperen seems to have taken her under her wings because often she refuses to take her medicine and Ms Alperen seems to work wonders with her to make sure she takes them, after spending a tremendous amount of money I am glad to have finally found a place for her where she very well taken care off, better than place which are much more expensive. Keep up the good work.👍👍👍👍👍

The facility start are responsive. I have placed many clients here and am happy with the level of care and supervision provided. The admin staff answer day and night and everyone tries to accommodate I will continue to send my clients here and would send my own family! Thank you colonial!!

Its my pleasure being part of the Colonial Team of Boynton Beach. I admired my co- workers dedication towards our Residents and their home. We are a FAMILY, caring for our residents with grace and compassion.

I was at Colonial yesterday. I saw good things happening. You know what I saw? I saw the owner dropping everything to make it a point to go to the dining hall while the residents were eating so she could say hello to everyone. She wanted to know how they were doing and ask if everything was ok. I also saw the med-tech diligently dispensing meds. And Debra, the visiting nurse, was making rounds and checking in on all the residents, spreading cheer.I have been to Colonial before. Jessica, in the nursing department, now there is someone who knows her clients, keeps track of them, cares about them, and gets them the provider services they need. Colonial is always clean, whenever I am there. And the front desk people are always helpful. The residents seem to have a congenial community spirit and interested in the others well being.

The staff is very friendly and the quality of service is great. The activities they do for the elderly there are tailored to them. Great environment to be in.

Regal Park has been completely renovated and has new staff that care and know every resident who resides there. From the administration to the aides to the housekeepers and food service they know the residents very well and card for themThere are activities for all residents in two groups.. they go out weekly on shopping excursions restaurants sightseeing and more..Come say hi to Ricki the owner and all the residents and staff

This is a beautiful building anytime I have been there I have been welcomed buy a big smile from the employees also all residents looked happy to be there an all looked like they where having a good time. Activities seem to be a big thing there as everytime I have walked through the building there was something going on whether is bingo or other games.

I have worked at Colonial for over three years. We are a family. And we care about your loved ones as though they are our own. WE ARE FAMILY!

You people should be ashamed of yourselves, you toss my brother in law out for being aggressive, when in reality he is non verbal and your staff does not know how to deal with the patients, your staff has been accused of abusing the elderly, I seriously wonder if my brother in law was abused while in your “care” I use that word loosely as I do not believe you care for the patients in your charge. I would not let you take care of my dog and am happy my bil is no longer living in your facility. If I could give you no stars I would.

My father is 93 years old. Due to family circumstances He cannot live with me. I was very nervous and felt guilty, when I was forced to find him place to live.Regal Park is assisted living community for elderly people.The people who are running the place are pretty friendly and nice.The place is immaculate day and night, food is very good, lots of activities to keep residents happy. The skilled nursing and dedicated, compassionate staff treat residents with dignity and respect. The caregivers, nurses, recreation staff, receptionists are amazing, positive, upbeat, and always helpful.Ricki Kaneti (Regional Executive director) creates very professional atmosphere, personally involved with day to day;Jackie Regal (the executive assistant) is one of the sweetest, most caring person to all the people that live there. Allison Underwood (regional RN), Jessica Rolle(Wellness director) and others are wonderful staff, couldn’t ask for a better group of people to take care of your loved one.I’m so grateful and happy to see my father in this place. Good care of my mother but not responsive to questions or needs of the guardian in regards to needed paperwork for the court and medication ordering required by insurance. Unable to get returned calls or emails.

My 92+ year old mother is a resident at Colonial Assisted Living in Boynton Beach, FL. I want to recognize the excellent job the nursing and support staff are doing in caring for my mom. On a recent visit we noticed several improvements to the facility as well.

Very clean facility. The staff is fantastic and truly cares about their residents.
