I have been with Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance for several years. Upon adding a driver to my current auto policy I was quoted what I thought was a reasonable rate. However, when I received a copy of the declaration page and billing in the mail, it reflected a six month premium of $252 more than the quoted premium. Needless to say I will be shopping for my vehicle and homeowners insurance elsewhere.UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2019: Since my dissatisfaction two years ago with KY Farm Bureau, I recently made a personal visit to my insurance agent, Scott Bouldin, to discuss my current rates. As with most insurance renewal times, there was an increase in my rates. I spent 45 minutes in my agents office reviewing my policies and looking for ways to save money. Scott was able to make some adjustments and update some information on my home policy, which led to reducing my overall premium. Sometimes you just have to go to the top to get the best service, and that is exactly what Scott Bouldin provided. I believe the time and effort Scott put into making his client happy with the service at his KY Farm Bureau office deserves 5 stars.
