I want to share my deep gratitude for Dr. Ikedas dedication to her patients.When C-19 was at its height and dentists couldnt see patients, I had real bad gum pain.  I called the office mid-morning and Dr. Ikeda offered to come in that day and make a special trip just for me!She is always very warm, professional and caring and she goes way above and beyond normal health and dental standards.For instance, they are only required to have 15 minutes between patients for C-19 protocols, but shes made it an hour between patients even though it cuts their income a lot, because she puts patient safety above even her and her staffs need for income.  How dedicated is that?!!!If you want a dentist that exceeds expectations in care, service, and truly putting her patients first, come see Dr. Ikeda and her outstanding staff!I also have to HIGHLY commend Ashley T., the hygienist.  I have a couple places in my gums where its super painful for them to be worked on.  Ashley tried a numbing gel the previous visit, but due to my allergies, it made me cough a lot.  I was dreading the next visit and I thought about asking for novacaine, but thought it would cost too much.Before I even brought this up in my next visit, Ashley had another idea of a topical we could use and I told her Id thought of novacaine but feared the cost, and she said they dont charge for it!  I could have wept tears of joy at the relief I felt and how the cleaning of those areas was totally pain free.She heartily thanked me for talking with her to help make my care more comfortable for me and better for her to really clean deeply.  When I flossed the next morning there was no bad odor on the floss as Id had the month prior.  Ashley is very heartful, knowledgeable and caring!  She and Dr. Ikeda gave me gum brushes and made recommendations that have improved my gum health.

First of all, I drive from Aurora to Boulder for Jana and her staff. Ive been a patient for 6 years. That should tell you something. Absolutely incredible as always. From check in to check out, there is no detail overlooked. The cleaning is always incredibly thorough; both the hygienists and dentist always take their time in answering any questions I have. They have fit me in when Ive had an emergency and are always willing to work with me. The team is so cohesive and so skilled - some of them have been with Jana for over 10 years. I cant stress how incredible this office is - please just go see for yourself!

Dr. Ikeda is the best dentist Ive ever had. Shes got a wonderful office staff, as well as highly experienced and attentive hygienists and dental assistants. But shes the best of all. She explains everything in detail and will show you pictures to illustrate exactly whats going on. She takes her time with each patient, and her experience and professionalism are unmatched!

Honestly the best dentist appointment Ive ever had. The exceedingly friendly and welcoming staff aside, I received so much information on my gums and teeth as well as the procedures, why they are performed, what they are looking for and what is best to do going forward. This office treats their patients with respect and present facts to educate and inform. 15 out of 10 would recommend.

Fantastic dentist and office. I used to live in Boulder 15 years ago and Dr. Ikeda had acquired the place from the previous owner. Over the years, I had gotten tired of driving to Boulder and wanted to find something closer to where I live (as well as take my kids to a close childrens dentist). Wow. What a mistake! I totally took for granted a dentist who not only knows about my teeth, but also my family. Now, I am back to her office and will gladly drive a little further because of the exceptional care. The best part? She still has the same staff? That says a lot about a business when the owner knows to keep the same, quality employees. Arlene is awesome and so are the hygienists. My family will be going here for many more years to come!

Jana and her staff are great!! I was first a patient of hers when she worked at another practice, unfortunately that practice dropped my insurance. Years later in 2005 I found that she had her own practice and was in network with my insurance, I became her patient again and went religiously every 6 months until I left Boulder in 2012. I have not been to another dentist since knowing that they just wont compare. Jana takes the time to make sure you understand what issues you may be having and makes every effort to make sure you get the best care she can provide. I wish my new insurance covered out of state checkups cause I would schedule one in a second.

Jana is a very rare Dentist! I could tell right away that she cared about me and my well being. She is very honest and does not push unnecessary procedures. She walks me through every step she is taking while in a procedure. She is very well educated, knows what she is doing and makes sure that you leave well educated about your situation. She has sympathy when you are in pain and will do everything she can to make you as comfortable as possible, including calling in emergency prescriptions on the weekends, taking the highest level of care when giving shots so that they dont hurt as much or making sure you have music to listen to. I was traumatized by bad dental procedures at previous dentists who didnt seem to care if I was in pain and performed low quality work. Now, Im not scared to the point of tears before appointments because I know Im in the best hands possible. I will never go to a different dentist!

Excellent dentist, the best Ive had here in Boulder, always explains and takes the best possible route for me. Always backs up her work if there is ever a problem, even when its not her fault! Highly recommended. Very clean, up to date technology too.10/01/2018 - First time in forever I do not have dental insurance and tried a dental place here in lafayette... Big mistake. I did not get e good vibe from the young, inexperienced dentist suggest that I pull 3 teeth with no other option and then could not finish an extraction. This would have never happened with Dr .Ikeda. I will be going back even if I do not have insurance, just not worth going anywhere else.

I really like Dr.Ikedas office, everyone is very friendly. They are always helpful in making my appointments and they didnt charge me when they had to redo my previous dentists poor x-rays. I had a bad previous experience at a different dentist and Dr.Ikeda fixed the bad work they did with my fillings.
