Got my wisdom teeth out here. Super nice, booked me for 2 weeks out, and did the surgery then. I don’t remember the surgery, and they made a point of doing the anesthesia so that I wasn’t loopy when I woke up. I got 4 teeth out, and didn’t feel any pain afterward, and I didn’t even need heavy painkillers. I had a bit of soreness but within 4 days it was gone and I was able to go back to parkour and hiking with my friends.

Boulder Creek Implant & Oral Surgery is excellent! After the care Ive received in getting my wisdom teeth removed, Id definitely recommend.Dr. Harper did a great job with the wisdom teeth extraction and I barely had any pain in the week following the surgery. I was so surprised at how good I felt even the day of! I was particularly impressed that Dr. Harper called the evening of the extraction, as well as the two mornings and evenings afterward to make sure everything was okay, even on the weekend. They said if I had any concerns, I was welcome to call and they seemed to care and willing to help. They provided detailed instructions for brushing and taking medications, and I never had to use the big pain killer (just ibuprofen). I was able to go on walks and bike rides the following day. I believe that Dr. Harper also went the week before my surgery to donate his skills in Peru, which is a highly valuable thing to do!Kat at the front desk was extremely helpful, friendly, and hilarious. Before my surgery, I asked a lot of questions about pricing because Im on a budget and she went into all of the details for me, while making the conversation enjoyable. Shes very witty and kind. The Anesthesia Certified Dental Surgical Assistant, Gulden Sarin, seems like a badass and made me feel like I was in good, well-experienced hands for the extraction. She mentioned that shes done this many times and is very well practiced. The office itself is clean, nicely decorated, conveniently located, and has a great view of the flat irons. A truly great experience!

I had a complicated procedure that I had put off for some time due to a bad experience from my previous surgeon. I was referred to Dr. Harper by a family member who was aware of my reservations and said this was the place to go. During my consultation, my concerns and fears were completely removed, and I decided to go ahead with the operation. Dr. Harper and his staff were amazing pre and post-op and the procedure was done so well, my recovery time and discomfort were incredibly minimal. I am now on a regular treatment plan with my current dentist, referred by Dr. Harper, and owe a lot to the entire Boulder Creek Oral Surgery team for getting me on track with my oral health.

I visited Dr. Harper for my wisdom teeth surgery - Dr. Harper and his team were incredibly friendly, thorough, & attentive. The surgery itself was as pleasant as any surgery experience could be. Post-surgery care was manageable and helped me heal quickly. Whenever I had a concern or was uncomfortable, I just called the office and they attended to me immediately. Would highly recommend!!

I got my wisdom teeth pulled here back in January of this year. I received nothing but professional care from the people who work here and Dr. Harper made sure to make himself available if I needed any questions answered during my recovery process. The information they give you at the end of the procedure is very beneficial and concise, and they make it easy to schedule follow up appointments and are more than willing to work with you to do so.

Dr Harper removed my wisdom teeth and overall it was a great experience- the staff was very kind and they were willing to help me at all costs during my recovery. Dr Harper even provided his cell phone number in case of emergencies which gave me a lot of relief prior and during the recovery process.

Considering this was my first extraction/post implant the entire process went much better than I expected. My dentist discovered an infection under a tooth and immediately referred me to Dr. Harper. Great timely referral! I was in his office the next day for a detailed diagnosis. My extraction procedure was explained thoroughly by Dr. Harper and it went flawlessly. It was entirely pain free. I was impressed that Dr. Harper followed up by calling me to ask how I was doing. Three months later I received an implant post. Again things went great. I would definitely recommend Dr. Harper and staff Kat and Gulden!

I had my wisdom tooth extraction in the spring of 2019 by Dr. Clayton Harper at Boulder Creek Implant and Oral Surgery. The procedure was almost painless and I managed to recover and get back to my routine within 48 hours. Dr. Harper is an amazing oral surgeon and a thorough professional. He called me personally 8 hours after the surgery to inquire about my well being and then I had two further appointments with him after a week of recovery. I was extremely impressed with the staffs and their regular follow up after my procedure.

My wisdom teeth extraction went well until my recovery took longer than expected. Apparently I had a rare case of recurring dry socket in both lower sockets. I am leaving two stars not because I ended up with dry socket, but because of the bedside manner I received. After being treated for dry socket for a third time and leaving in tears, I realized that the pain itself was not what brought me to tears (in fact, the pain was perfectly manageable before being treated for dry socket. The treatment for dry socket is excruciating). What brought me to tears was how I was treated by Dr. Harper. I felt that I was being fussed at, in a debate regarding my pain and recovery, and attacked with criticism-- all at a tone of voice that deeply upset me-- and all after receiving incredibly painful treatment for dry socket. This led me to seek advice from a second oral surgeon elsewhere regarding my recovery.Perhaps my double-dry socket had actually healed within a day before seeing a different surgeon, but this new oral surgeon reported that I was healing just fine. More importantly, this doctor was even-tempered, kind, and asked detailed questions about the type of pain, the timing of my pain, etc -- questions I had not received at the Boulder Creek office. The doctor suggested the pain I was feeling was not from dry socket, but from clenching my teeth at night. This seemed much more in line with the pain I was feeling.Im not saying I never had dry socket. I also understand the immense frustration a doctor must feel when their patient is clearly in pain and also frustrated by their own prolonged recovery. But I did feel that my condition (whatever it was) could have been received with more patience and calmness.

Clayton many many thanks for taking care of me in my dental emergency. How fortunate I was that you were able to schedule me for the procedure during what I assume is your normal busy week - and at a special rate too. Thank you.I must say that your office and professional support staff are A++! Upon entering the reception area it feels like a high-end spa: beautiful art, flowers, magazines, friendly staff. But then oops -reality sets in later - but even that was painless and stress fee with all the attention. All is well regarding what used to be tooth no.19.Thanks again Clayton.Margie

Dr. Harper and his team did an outstanding job on my wisdom tooth extraction. The office staff is friendly and professional, while the team has patience and understanding around pain and nervousness. I was really afraid, but the process was simple, fairly painless, and I felt cared for every step of the way. Thanks Dr. Harper and team!

Dr. Harper and his team were absolutely amazing. I had my wisdom teeth out and experienced a few complications, during which time Dr. Harper followed up with me and helped me through the whole process. Any time I needed to get in to the office for a check up, or for any concern I was having, I was able to get in the same day and always left feeling better. You can tell that they care about each and every one of their patients, and that made everything so much more manageable. I would highly recommend them, and would go back again if I ever needed to.

Definitely go to Doctor Clayton first, then to any other surgeon. I got my wisdom teeth removed and he gave me his personal cell phone number and even called on the day of operation to make sure everything is all right. I was able to talk to him directly whenever I had any questions which no other doctor does.

After waiting for over an hour past my appointment time, Dr. Clayton rushed into the treatment room and asked why I was in. I explained the reason for my visit—I was to have a biopsy done on a potentially cancerous sore in my mouth. He incorrectly repeated what I said, so I corrected him and he immediately accused me of being immature and having an attitude. Then he refused to do the biopsy I took a day off of work for, was told my two other medical professionals that I needed and told me I was being hyperbolic and again, immature.I would not recommend this facility or this doctor, at all.I am frustrated and alarmed that he has his license and treats patients this way.

I recently went to Dr. Harper for two dental implants and would definitely recommend him. Dr. Harper explained everything very clearly, made sure he answered all of my questions, and the whole process was relatively quick. Everyone at this office is very friendly, and the office itself is spotless. I was surprised at how little pain I felt after the surgery to place the implants, and everything healed up very well. I hadnt established a relationship with a dentist in Boulder yet, and Dr. Harper recommended Dr. Evans in North Boulder who is also fantastic. My smile looks great, and I am so glad that I went to Dr. Harper. Thank you to the crew at Boulder Creek Implant and Oral Surgery!

I put off wisdom teeth surgery for about 10 years because I was a little terrified. I FINALLY decided to do it last April and chose the best office possible. The whole process was great. Dr. Harper is detailed and professional and really cares about his patients. He (and his staff) checked on me multiple times during my recovery to ensure I was not in any pain. I cant recommend this office more. They are fantastic!

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Harper a few months back, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Harper did an excellent job informing me of the ins and outs of the procedure. After it was all said and done, the doctor and his staff kept in touch throughout the next week and made sure I was doing well. I had no pain -- only soreness -- and was back to normal in no time.I cannot recommend Dr. Harper enough. I never thought I would look back on my wisdom teeth operation and think of how great it was, but here I am!

Well, what to say---Dr. Harper and his friendly/awesome/responsive staff blew me away...Im a total dental wimp, always nervous and expecting the worst. I had two wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Harper and it was fast, painless, and I had zero complications. I had them removed on a Tuesday morning and taught a class for three hours Wednesday evening--no pain, no drama, everything awesome. Id definitely go back if I need the other two teeth removed, or for any other involved dental procedure. Thanks to Kat, Dr. Harper, and the other dental technician there (forgot her name!) for a pain-free, effective procedure! I hope never to see you guys again in the office (nothing personal, but I hate going to the dentist!), but man--you guys were PERFECT.

Daniel, not sure what your rant and rating has to do with this service provider. Dr. Harper is very knowledgeable, has showed care and compassion in every step during my tooth extraction and upcoming implant. His prices are inline with the average rates according to information provided by my insurance. Office hours are standard, Dr. Harper gives you his cell phone and insists he is available 24/7, though thankfully I have not had to take him up on that offer.

My wife had a bike accident and got two broken teeth. Her brother is an oral surgeon in Korea and he told her she should see an oral surgeon immediately for a wire splinter. I called the office to schedule an appointment. The staff at the reception desk was so unfriendly and didnt want to set up an appointment for a wire splinter. They only do in case for tooth removal. They just want your money and dont care about you at all. They wont accept patients who will not make them money!

I feel very fortunate to have found Boulder Creek Implant & Oral Surgery through my multiple-sourced internet reviews hunting. Dr. Harper and his staff ensured that I was well prepared for the extraction of 3 wisdom teeth. The staff was very knowledgeable about the procedure and post care and went through every detail with me. Alayna even demonstrated how to care for the post-op surgical sites and made it fun. Dr. Harper is a DDS & MD with a specialty in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, making him more than (almost over-) qualified to perform my wisdom teeth extractions. At 34, I am at higher risk for dry socket and Dr. Harper explained all of the possible outcomes of this minor surgery so I was prepared for anything. The procedure and post-operation was completely painless, with some slight soreness and swelling as was expected. The night of the extraction, Dr. Harper called to check in on me and any of my minor worries (which he and his staff prepared me for) were put to rest. Bouldarites will also appreciate the pictures in his office of his humanitarian efforts abroad. I cannot say enough about the practice!
