I cannot say enough wonderful things about Madison S.! She is incredibly kind, attentive, and has such a wonderful presence when youre in her chair. We recently did a big change (took off a lot of length + balayage) and its the best haircut Ive ever gotten. If youre looking for luxurious yet livable hair, go to Madison. She is the best.

I’m sure the stylist here are talented and great at what they do, but unfortunately I will not find out. I booked using their online reservation system. I got to the salon and took a seat while waiting for my stylist. She comes and gets me, she was kind and welcoming. We got to her chair and I said I wanted to do a pixie cut (I have shoulder length hair now), and she said she only cuts long hair styles. I respect her honesty, but when I got to the front desk the man behind the counter tried to ask the manager if she would cut me hair, and she said no. He then asked someone else who also said no. The manager did not try to talk to me or figure out the situation, and they said they could get me in two days later but that doesn’t work with my schedule which is why I scheduled it for when I did. I understand that certain stylist have strengths and wouldn’t want to give a bad haircut, but I feel this situation was handled poorly. The online reservation system should be updated to reflect what that stylist is/is not willing to do. Considering the expensive prices of their services, I expected better customer service.

Michael B. gave me the best haircut of my life. First, he took the time to do an in-depth consultation wherein he listened intently to what I wanted, while making gentle suggestions on how to make what I wanted look the best. He even explained the cutting techniques he was going to use to bring out the desired effect in my hair. It was clear that every cut he made was masterfully crafted; he was methodical and intentional. A true master of his craft.The cherry on top of the whole experience is that Michael is kind, professional, and his presence is relaxing. I will be returning again and again to have my hair cut by this wonderful human being.

First time at the Twig Salon, and I was going in, super nervous, not knowing what I wanted to do with my hair. Chose Madison S as my hair stylist, because shes a huge advocate for lived in hair, and has a lot of experience with styling and makeup as well. We talked a lot about different options, and I finally decided to do a full balayage and cut and got my hair lightened up from a dull black to a fiery red (see picture). The result was incredible!! It blew my mind how much color there was. Madison really outdid herself, and Ive been getting SO MANY compliments from people about my hair. Would highly recommend her to anyone who wants coloring done. TY Madison!

This is my third haircut with Michael and I hope I never have to go to anyone else. He really knows how to cut and color hair beautifully and artistically. I get out of the shower and I’m done. And I’ve gotten more compliments on my hair in the last 6 months than I’ve had in the prior 6 years!! I highly, highly recommend Michael! And he’s an awesome person to boot.

Michael was incredible. I always imagined walking into a salon and asking a stylist to help me look and feel better without having an exact vision for the outcome and at Twig, with Michael, I was able to do that. My curly cut was impeccable and I felt like a new person. He was also lovely to speak to while getting styled!

I cannot say enough how much I love Twig! If you are looking for perfect hair- make an appointment with Anna ASAP. I have been to multiple salons around the Denver area and was never truly happy until I found Twig. Anna cares about her work and it shows. She provides the perfect color and cut every time. I am brunette and she even does a perfect blonde on my mom. I can always trust her. It is also a calming environment and they have handled COVID protocol very well. I feel safe there. Madison always seems to amaze me! I come in with color & hair inspo pictures & she always nails it, every time (she even cut my hair beautifully while their was a bomb threat, so I think that speaks volumes). I have recommended her to all my friends / family, everyone that has had appointments with her walks away more than happy! Although I don’t want her to book up because I LOVE her work, if you’re looking for someone to make you feel confident and get your dream hairstyle, you MUST see Madison!

Jason is, hands down, the BEST in the business! Hes been my guy for over 20 years. My color is always on point- he is truly an artist and a master of his craft. My husband and sons also see Jason. He is always on trend and a true leader in his industry. UPDATE::: ok Ive been seeing Madison for a few months now and JEEZE GIRL IS MAGIC! I dont want to write this review because whomever is reading it might take her away from me!!! Shes a freaking magician. I literally told her I want her to make me hotter. I said girl, I dont know what Im doing please help. AND SHE MADE ME A 10/10. My new hair is so fun and has so much dimension in it. The color is so flawless. My hair is so soft after. She always curls it, shes the best. I adore seeing Madison. While I was there, I watched Anna cut someone elses hair and knew that I wanted to be in her chair. Made my next appointment with her and loved it. She was super nice, fast, and really good. I came in after I got an awful haircut elsewhere and Madison did an incredible job fixing it. Jason and Madison are fantastic. It has been extremely rare for me to walk away from a salon with EXACTLY what I wanted. I have dark brown hair that I have tried to die blonde for many many years. Within two hours, Jason got my hair to a blonde I never knew I could get! It is seamlessly styled with a tasteful hair cut and amazing color. Came in after having gotten a terrible haircut that not only removed about 8 inches of my hair unwillingly but left me looking like I needed join a 90s boy band. Jason did a great job thinning it out and making it look presentable and manageable.

Everything about my experience at Twig was superb. My stylist, Jason, was super friendly and kind, and has made scissor skillz. I am a dude with mid length hair, and it is hard to find stylists who know what to do with that. Jason nailed it. Highly recommended.

I’m not much for reviewing, but it’s been a while since I’ve gotten a hair cut that I loved. Sure, I’ve had plenty of haircuts that I liked, but definitely not loved like this. I woke up this morning and my hair is messy(in a good way), sexy, gorgeous and just makes my face look more alive with layers that bring out the best of my bone structure. Michael is amazing, precise, technical, and gave me exactly what I wanted...so if you’re looking for that I say go to him...he’s worth it!Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll go back to preening myself in the mirror....

Constantine did a phenomenal job on my hair styling and color. My normally ash blonde hair was platinum blonde, and the cut was so short that after 5 months all it needed was artful shaping. (I had recently moved to CO, and had gone to a different salon).He was able to return me to ash blonde and the haircut was perfect.I would highly recommend him.

Michael is incredible and gave me the best haircut of my LIFE. I have been hardcore quarantining for a year now and I’m very impressed with the salon’s COVID precautions. I will see Michael for as long as I’m physically able to, I just found my forever stylist 🥰🥰🥰 Plus getting my lashes done by Erica was just the cherry on top. I went to Anna for my first experience with this salon and I was blown away by the outstanding job she did on my hair. I am very picky and Anna was beyond excellent on all levels. I had my hair highlighted and trimmed and my hair could not look better. To add to this, Anna is super sweet, very friendly and professional. For the first time, in years my hair looks awesome and I owe it to Anna. The salon is also very hip, beautifully laid out and in a great locale. I just had my hair cut by Anna last night and she is an absolute gem!! After a 10 year search, I am happy to say I have finally found my forever stylist! I cried on my way home :( It’s really frustrating to not be listened to or taken seriously as a non-binary/gender fluid/etc client. I thought my experience at Twig would be different because of the display of pride flags around the shop. I wish hair wasn’t still so gendered and that more people would understand that gender inclusivity is a huge part of repping a pride flag and making it known that you are in alliance with the queer community.

I had an appointment at 7:15 pm and unfortunately it was canceled by the stylist. She had an emergency, which was understandable, but I specifically chose that time because I had a flight the next morning. They offered to change my appointment to 8 am to which I said yes and that I would call back if anything changes or I need to cancel. I went there at 7:50 to be early and then at 8, they opened the doors saying they never made the appointment. They said because I never called back to say I was coming, but the woman I spoke to on the phone said she would write my name down (which I asked for). I was pretty dissatisfied

The salon I used to go to closed so I have been scouring Boulder for a stylist that can manage my hair. Cassandra is a hair alchemist, she can turn your hair into gold. Her insight is incredible, she is highly knowledgable and so attentive. I just had the most groundbreaking haircut of my life. It was transformative, informative, and now I look like a new person because my hair is so fantastic. I honestly learned so much from my visit. I highly recommend this salon and will be coming back!

I have been going to Twig Salon for a couple of years now and I have only had really good experiences. Their stylists are on point, and if youre looking for one give Sarah D a try (she is my favorite!). They have appointment reminders, which are super helpful and their location is actually pretty great considering its on Pearl (East side of the walking mall) so parking isnt a hassle.

This is my go-to salon after trying to find a place for years. The stylist is fantastic and always does a wonderful job coloring, cutting, and styling my hair!

My first visit to this salon was a positive one. Sarah took time to cut my hair and listen prior as to likes/dislikes. Erica did a great job with brow wax/tint. Neither were rushed. The staff and salon was friendly and professional.

Kaitlin is super warm/friendly and soo easy to talk to! She did a fantastic job cutting and styling my hair! But the real test is when my husband sees it since he gives me honest opinions and he loved it! Definitely going back to see her! Lastly, the other staff members were also very friendly and positive which is a big deal to me... it makes the whole experience feel 10x better.

I called Twig asking for someone who was great at coloring with reds, and they matched me with Katie. It was a perfect fit. I live in Denver now, but will make the commute to Boulder to get my hair done by her every time. She is so talented and takes the time to understand what I want in the beginning. She also understands hair well, and can give you honest feedback on how to color your hair while still keeping it healthy. The interior at Twig is clean and pleasant, and I enjoy my time there.

I have been coming to Olivia Gass for a few years. She is so knowledgeable and has really impressed me with her drive to continually learn more about her profession and care for clients via her expertise. She is also a pleasure to chat with. I love my hair and I always feel great when I leave! The little touches like being offered a beverage upon arrival and the scalp massage with the shampoo just add to the pleasure that is Twig!!

BEST WAXING EXPERIENCE EVER!! Erica is the most talented waxing artist (yes, it’s an art!) that I have ever been to! My eye brows look the best they ever have! And I threw away my razor! Smooth legs for weeks!! And she’s SO fast! I would give her 10 stars if I could!! Highly recommend!!

I try to avoid getting my hair cut as much as possible.This week I was visiting Boulder and decided to visit Twig, a salon Id visited the last time I was in town. Both times, I had Anastasia. Both times, she was incredible. Her attention to detail was above and beyond my expectations. She took the time to shape each tiny part of my hair to make it perfect. A few days later Im noticing little parts of my hair that lay really nicely that I didnt notice before.She took into consideration how my hair would grow out, and cut it so it would look nice through each stage of growth.I told her what I didnt like about my hair currently and she told me how she would cut it to make it look how I wanted.She wasnt afraid to tell me that one of my requests (shorter in the back) would potentially result in my hair looking silly due to my cowlick, and made an alternate suggestion.Im really really happy with my hair. I wish I lived in Colorado so I could visit Twig every time I need a haircut.

I have been to Twig Hair Salon on several different occasions, typically for a haircut, and have always been pleased. My stylist, April, is amazing, professional, and always makes me feel like a million bucks. My last visit I requested to add auburn into my hair along with some highlights. I was so nervous, but she completely nailed it. It looks absolutely gorgeous, and I’m totally in love!! I highly recommend April to anyone needing a cut and/or color. You can’t go wrong!
