Kelly is an absolute master of her art and a dream to spend time with! Im a new client and just got a major haircut--from past-the-shoulder tresses to pixie! The appointment was both wildly successful and a ton of fun--I feel like a whole new person! Kelly spent all the time needed to truly understand what I wanted and made it happen with grace, poise, and pizazz. Co-founder Jerry is likewise a treat to be around, and the cuts he turned out while Kelly worked with me were polished and impressive. The salon itself is clean, attractively decorated, inviting, and stocked to the gills with high-quality Aveda products. Haircuts at Sabiha are worth every penny and I hope to get back soon to try more of this establishments great offerings! Highly recommend!

Wow! I had my first haircut and color since pre-Covid, and what a makeover! Kelly is phenomenal. My hair went from brassy, witchy looking to Pinterest worthy. I also felt very safe as they take your temperature and stick to the highest standards. I feel like a new woman!

Amazing! Never been happier with a cut & color in my life! I went to Natalie and will never go to another salon. They sincerely care about the client and are so good at communicating with the client about their desired result and executing it perfectly. They also use really wonderful products that you can buy in salon that I now swear by. Ive tried quite a few spots in the last 3 years and am so glad to finally have found a place that delivers what a salon should. Hands down the best service and talent in Boulder!

Finally, Ive found the perfect salon in Boulder! My experience here was incredible. Upon walking in to inquire about their services, the owners greeted me warmly with handshakes, offer of tea, and a tour of their shop. I was so surprised at the friendliness that I thought maybe they had me mistaken me for someone far more important than I was, lol! I soon found out that they simply were that hospitable. The woman who cut my hair, Hannah, was sweet, accommodating, and sincere in her desire to give me the cut that I wanted (which wasnt easy--Im a picky girl!). The end result was the best haircut Ive gotten in Boulder for the best price Ive found, and a coupon for my next visit. Dont hesitate to check this place out. Ive known both owners personally for a year, they are great people. They give the best haircut Ive gotten in Boulder, hands down. But they are also super friendly and you can tell they genuinely care for their business and their clients. They go out of their way to make you feel special. Its always nice to seem people enthusiastic about what they do, and Salon Sabiha has that in Spades.

DONT GO THERE. I went there for the first time yesterday and I wont go back. My haircut is so horrible that I had to go fix it at another barbershop today. No clean neck, uneven hair. Jerry (i think is the name of the guy who cut my hair) was nice, but he definitely doesnt know what he is doing.

I just moved to area and after looking for an Aveda salon, I found this salon. The girl on the phone was very nice and cheery and could work with my work schedule for an appointment. One of the owners colored my hair and did a fantastic job! She listened to exactly what I wanted (as opposed to some stylists whove only done what they wanted) and it turned out beautiful. Will definitely return and Ive already told many of my coworkers about this place. Lovely experience. :)

Ive been going To Salon Sabina for 5+ years and have always had the best haircuts (and experiences) there! Ive been a customer for half a decade, and can knowingly say they provide upscale personalized service, friendliness, and fantastic suggestions to every client Ive seen them interact with. Theyre local, talented and are worthy of your business (no matter what the obviously disgruntled former employee giving them 1 star has to say).Its always good to get your hair cut /styled by a stylist you know will still be in business this time next year!

I recently purchased Aveda products I hadn’t tried before and found them to be too heavy for my hair. When I returned the products to the salon I was told that there was a no refund policy. I hadn’t received a receipt with my purchase, so I was rather surprised. The salon returns opened products to Aveda and is reimbursed for those products. As a customer, I wasn’t afforded the same courtesy. I was trying to shop locally, but I will not return to this salon. Aveda at its other retail locations will refund purchases you are not satisfied with. Extremely poor experience and awful customer care!

Aveda Salons have a very intensive training coarse so you can rest easy these girls & Jerry know what they are doing. Head on down the coolest girl in town! I am very particular with who touches my hair and there is only one girl who can do the job RIGHT! That would be SIERRA. She is always upbeat, smiling, easy to talk to and actually listens when you tell her what you want done. I have had my hair colored, cut and just shy of shaved and she did them all wonderfully. I can tell she loves her job and takes it very seriously. I have gone no one else for two years. And most of my friends or people I meet end up coming her way as well. Giver a try

As a man, I generally hate going to to get my hair cut almost anywhere. Salon Sabiha did an excellent job of making me feel welcome, making it a simple experience, and gave me an excellent hair cut. I am definitely planning on going to Salon Sabiha for all my hair cuts from now on.

These people are crazy thieves!! The price for a haircut and highlight is over 200 dollars and the owner will certainly make sure you fit into her precious schedule, nd blame you for making it take so long. Stay away from these crazy people.

First let me say that my stylist Natalie was kind, patient, and did a fantastic job on my hair. I loved my experience with her and wish whole heartedly that I could go back to this salon. If it wasnt for my experience with the owner herself, I would be a regular.After a wonderful haircut, I went to the front desk to check out. My luxurious salon experience came to a halt when I was pressured repeatedly to purchase extra products, make another appointment, and put my credit card information on file in their system. None of these things would have upset me (I understand these are all standard practice) if the owner would have respected a simple no thank you. Instead I felt repeatedly guilt tripped and trapped in an argumentative back and forth with the owner for an amazing length of time. I left feeling very stressed out and thankful to be out of there.6 weeks later I received a call saying my new appointment is coming up soon. When I called them to state that I had specifically requested not to make an appointment ahead of time and to please cancel it, I was told that they wouldnt have made an appointment if I hadnt requested one...clearly implying that I was wrong or lying.I knew at that point that I was speaking with the owner again, and I told her directly that I had previously felt pressured and unheard by her as a customer. She told me that everyone has a choice to purchase products or not and I should take responsibility for what I choose to do or not do. Then she told me that this salon has been around for 17 years and I would be hard pressed to find a salon that wouldnt require my credit card on file. Looking back now, I think I was so uncomfortable the first time that I paid in cash to avoid handing this woman my confidential information. I can only pray I am remembering this correctly.Overall, I am saddened by this experience and hope that the owner offers future customers the space and respect to make decisions for themselves. I would definitely be in there again if it werent for the pushy, argumentative condescension that I experienced.

In January 2014 got a haircut and highlights with a mid-level stylist. This salon uses Aveda products, which I love. However, they took me about 20 minutes late AND I was there for three hours just for the cut and highlights. When I arrived I the staff gave me a sheet to fill out to select bonus services they provide at no extra cost -- hand massage, scalp massage, make up touch up, etc. I chose the ones I wanted but never received them and they were never mentioned at all (ie, so sorry we couldnt touch up your makeup.) The cut was fine (nothing special) and the highlights were so subtle they were barely noticeable. The way the stylist blew out my hair and styled it at the end was not attractive or what I wanted despite bringing photos and talking a lot about what I was looking for in the styling. The owner pushed me to purchase $30 color protecting shampoo saying she would give no guarantees about the hair coloring if I didnt use it. The prices are quite expensive -- I had to pay $60 more than the $125 gift card I had for my services, and that didnt include a tip. All in all I would not go to this salon again and would not recommend it to others, even if the prices were lower.

Very unfavorable experience. The front desk is very rude and forceful with regards to scheduling future appointments. After my first cut, I mentioned that I did not want to schedule my next appointment in advance. I was met with further rudeness and obliged simply to get away from the uncomfortable exchange.After calling to confirm my next appointment today, I called back within 5 minutes to cancel. An extremely abrasive employee then attempted to charge my credit card, despite providing adequate notice. The conversation ended with the employee stating, everyone can say no in their life, after I commented that I did not want to schedule this appoint to begin with.

Just moved to boulder 6 months ago....my hair is very difficult to color correctly and i recently had a bad experience with a salon resulting in over processed and burned hair...i was hesitant about the experience of trying out new salons to get it right....i use aveda products and decided to try sabina....my experience at the salon was a very pleasant and enjoyable one!....kelly took a great deal of time to make sure she achieved my expectations...the end result, i loved my color and cut!....because my hair was so damaged, i did take advantage of an aveda botanical treatment which has been discounted each time i have made subsequent appointments as a courtesy...i have now had several appointments with the salon and cannot imagine going anywhere else...jerry and kelly are always welcoming, upbeat and eager to make me happy as a customer ....i love this place.....!!!

I have thick curly hair and I love it and it was sort of an insult when I came in and Kelly was trying to teach me how to wash and style my hair. I have had curly hair since birth and you would think I would have it under control. The thing is YOU DONT DO ANYTHING WITH CURLY HAIR! Wash it with what you love, give it a lot of moisture, gel, flipt it around and your golden. Once it was said you pay for what you get and Salon Sahiba is Professional! I have to laugh because there are areas of my hair that are longer then others and its a shame to me because I walked out of there paying around 130. And I get pushing products on people but it could be calmed down a little bit in there. Product pushing is a little annoying.

I hated every moment of my experience at this salon. Tamika, the lady that cut my hair hadnt even been working there a week. She was noticeably unconfident and was confused. She had previously only done clipper cuts at a mens sports barber shop, and was a noob in every way possible.The owners were obnoxious, in-genuine, and constantly trying to sell me their and overpriced products. I felt guilt-tripped for not booking my next appointment to run a lawnmower over my head, and for not purchasing any products. It was a classic sales pitch at every possible corner for an ENTIRE HOUR. In the end, I felt tortured and like I overpaid for a mediocre (at best) haircut that now looks worse and worse as each day passes.I will never come back to this place... ever!
