Great doctor. Absolutely horrible assistances. I called them and when they heard my name they hung up because they refuse to give me my medical records.

Dr Kamal is one of the best psychiatrists on the planet. His depth of knowledge regarding mental health conditions and medications is outstanding. He is like a magician always pulling a new rabbit out of his hat. We have worked with him for years and fear the day he retires!

Went twice to this clown in 10 days. Giant waste of time. They do not have the tools necessary to treat people. They understand they are unable to treat certain cases, and push the problem onto more qualified doctors. Dont waste your time. See someone better.

In my opinion, Dr. Syed Kamal Mustafa appears to generally have adequate technical training, expertise, and expeience. That said, he is deficient in a few areas. First, and most importantly, he does not take urgent calls/messages seriously, at least in my case. I had to make a trip to urgent care in order to have medications refilled for bipolar. This was after repeated messages (using the urgent option on his phone line) explaining the urgency of the situation. Of course for legal reasons he did not apologize or offer reimbursement for the urgent care visit.Of less significance, he does not good business sense. As one small example it is difficult to find his phone number online (though possible) and his office hours are still somewhat of a mystery to me. I could go on, but I will leave it at that.

Dr. Mustafa is one of the most caring and professional Psychiatrists Ive worked with, and Ive worked with dozens over the years. He is compassionate and caring, and knows his stuff. The complaints about the scattered nature of the details of his business, complain if you must, however, I have not experienced what you complain of. I have had to work with many psychiatrists who are truly mean spirited, uncaring and lazy, and so appreciate that Dr. Mustafa is none of these, which is why I refer clients to him on a regular basis. Thank You Dr. Mustafa for the knowledgable, kind and excellent care you give to the community.
