Ulta has newly become my go to place for all my makeup needs. The staff in both the Bossier City and Shreveport Louisiana locations were very friendly and made sure my I was attended to quickly and thoroughly. The Bossier City location especially is going to be official makeup store when I need to either buy something or get some much appreciated help in the beauty department. Also, thank you to the employee who helped to correctly color match me after I was incorrectly matched at Sephora (no hate just bad lighting).

I love Mesh, he is a kind person and does excellent hair. The Benefits girl is so kind and does excellent brows. Both of these are licensed professionals, I trust them.

Rude rude rude! Walks in and they just stare at me said nothing!! Next guest walks in not even a minute after and is greeted and asked if need help. Girl who works at benefit looked us up and down with a face! Absolutely rude place to go!

If you have curly hair beware!! I called to make an appointment for my daughter to get her haircut. I specifically asked for a stylist that specialized cutting curly hair as there is shrinkage. Well I told the lady that the shortest I wanted my daughters hair to be cut so that when it dried (and shrunk) it wouldnt be too short. Welp she was like umm ok and then cut it WET to the length that I said was the shortest I wanted it DRY. I know she could tell I was irritated and just kept saying its cute.. the point is you did exactly what I DID NOT WANT YOU TO DO. Well lets just say thank goodness she is young and her hair will grow back but never again. I DO NOT recommend!!!!

My new favorite place to shop for beauty supplies. Was surprised however, they didnt have a larger variety of hair extensions and all fake..not real hair.

Had great assistance finding what I was looking for quick fast and in a hurry, but always slow and too long of a wait at the register. There was 5 or 6 people back there and two registers open with the line out of control. Thats why I dont go there, and against my better judgement did today bc I forgot to stop at Sephora. I used to like Ulta but because of that mainly I do not. I was late to meet the bus this afternoon and I should have had plenty of time to make it. Good day

I prefer to shop at any other ULTA, the one in Bossier I rarely visit because it seems each time I am in this store the Employees are rude and seem so bothered and annoyed. The last time,which will be the last time I go here, they had the promotions and sales marked so after finding just the right products I and stand in line I am finally at the register and the girls says oh sorry that doesnt start until tomorrow I have worked in retail and you cant just put the tags out when you want when you do you have to honor the price you have advertised. And that was just my latest ULTA experience. Worst ULTA

They make you feel like you shouldnt be shopping there. No ome ever asks if I need help. They told me i cant return anything without making an account, even if I have a receipt. Also they have things marked at discounts then refuse them at the register. Honestly would rather shop online then deal with these rude women.

I could spend all day in this place.

I visited with Mesh in the beauty salon. He was a delight as always and makes the experience fun for his clients. He always makes good suggestions for color and takes the clients requests into consideration. If youre going for a hair dyeing experience, Id recommend him as he is highly knowledgeable and skilled.

Made a last minute decision appointment at the salon here for a haircut (havent been here in years). I am extremely happy I did. My stylist, Elizabeth, was super sweet, talented and professional. I will absolutely be using her in the future for cuts and color. The price was extremely reasonable, and the salon is clean. Recommend 10/10; ask for Elizabeth! Shes great. :)

I absolutely love Ulta as a store because of the wide range of beauty products they have, HOWEVER, I am heavily disappointed with the customer service toward minority races in the Bossier location. I absolutely dread going to this location but, it is the closest to me. When I walk through the door I dont get greeted like other customers, and the ladies that work the floor are not very helpful or polite. I dont understand how someone who works at a beauty store could have the audacity to look down on someone, I mean come on you dont have to have a degree to work at beauty store!!! They are very judgmental and I dont understand why but they are, but at the end of the day WE are the customers and they are the employees and if they want a PAYCHECK they need to smile greet and approach every customer with the intent of making a sale because without customers (of any and every race) they wouldnt have a job. If they dont like their jobs maybe they should find another job where they dont deal with the public, they chose their jobs not me!!

Come to get gift certificates for my girls and as I was walking up to the door the young lady looked at me and locked the door. I said I just need to get gift certificates and the lady behind the counter said not to let me in. NEVER WILL I SPEND ANOTHER CENT HERE!

The salon manager is extremely unprofessional,not only did she pass my sister off to another stylist, but she made an assumption that we were poor & that we couldnt afford her master stylist fees. Our stylist was extremely sweet & overwhelmed by the two of us. Our hair didnt come out like we had wanted (not even close) and the manager is trying to say its because we were late (got caught by airline traffic & was not THAT late) our appointments were going to run 3 hours long according to the site. So if it was a 3 hour appointment, why would she say she doesnt have time for us. My sister was SO stressed out trying to get there on time & noted how late we were when we walked in(15 minutes). She profusely apologized too. We even tried calling to let them know we were stuck in traffic but nobody would answer the phone! Now the manager is tacking on even more time saying we were way later than what we know to be true. Shes rude. She willingly overloaded her new stylist and she judged us assuming we couldnt afford her. I guarantee that is why she passed my sister off. My sister now has to go to several appointments at a new salon to fix what was done here. My sister wanted to be a bright blonde (highlights) & came out a light redhead! I dont recommend going here, especially if you book the manager. She clearly treats you based on what she thinks you can afford. Sad for her, my sister is actually well off & just wanted to do something nice for us both. She said she would refund $25 for the toners that were sadly swapped & caused our hair to come out wrong. My sister should have had more of a refund considering she still tipped nicely because she felt bad for our stylist. I will never come back here.

The lines are extremely long. All Im buying is hair products. 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner. They refuse to let me check out in the salon. Poor customer service as usual.

If you are a female, this store is probably the next best thing to heaven!!! They have just about everything that a girl could want or need when it comes to skin care, makeup, haircare, perfume, nails, etc. They also have a really nice salon that does hair & makeup and a brow bar that does waxing, etc. They also offer a lot of free gifts with purchases & around holiday time, they have some really neat gift sets for really great prices! I definitely recommend going here if you are a female.. Just make sure you have plenty of money to spend because you are going to find a ton of things you want!

I went to ulta and no one acknowledged me at all. But when other woman walked in store they automatically got a greeting. No one bother to try and help me they just went straight to the other people that walked in after me. Usually when i walk in to other makeup stores I am always greeted and asked if I need help finding anything. But not at this ulta they only helped you if you looked a certain way.

I went into store to purchase some shampoo and conditioner and a blow dryer. No one, absolutely no one acknowledge me. The checkout lady was nice. I wont buy from Ulta Beauty again. I hate bougie people!! I have one star for the lady who checked me out...need to hire ladies with a personality. They all acted stuck up.

I went in to Ulta to get some highlights. Nothing crazy just something for a change. I showed a picture of what I wanted and specifically said subtle at least 7 times. I came in a brunette and came out a brassy blonde. Don’t get me wrong, not all of the color is brassy but just enough to make it where I won’t be wearing my hair down until this is fixed. So now I guess I have to go find a different salon and pay for a correction because when I asked if I could come in the next day for it to be fixed, I was told I would have to pay for it. Excuse me, but I was unhappy with my hair, and the hair stylist was informed of the fact that I wanted SUBTLE highlights from the start. Not a complete color change.

Rude employees that never want to help. Worst customer service ever

I made an appointment here to have a full face makeup application. I arrived on time. But was not greeted by anyone for 10 minutes. When I was, she said it would be 30 more minutes because shes behind. I had an event to get to so I had to leave with a makeup free face and do mine in the car. I made this appointment a week ago. Very unprofessional. They also did not seem to think it was a very big deal that they were 30 minutes off my scheduled appointment.

My husband attempted to get a haircut from the salon. He approached the counter and observed the male stylist sitting in the chair. He asked the receptionist if nothing was available for a walk-in. The receptionist turns to the stylist and asks. My husband then stated the stylist looked him up and down and rotated his chair away from them. The receptionist then told my husband there were no openings. Wow. Some customer service.

Ive had a mediocre experience with the sales people at this location. Some are friendly enough and some flat out rude. BUT, I got my haircut today by Mesh and he was super friendly and did a fantastic job!

The salon fixed my granddaughters hair after my attempt to dye her hair. They got us in and explained everything. Did a great job fixing my granddaughters hair and covering up the mess I made.

Kim in make up was extremely helpful and not pushy to make a sale. She understood annd listened.

I like ulta but this store in particular needs a lot of help. Usually staff is talking amongst each other which is annoying. They dont carry the same products that Shreveport store carries so they lose my business for that as well. I will usually just shop online unless I absolutely have to go to the store to see a color in person, get my foundation matched, or make a return.

My grandmother and I went during a slow time. We were looking for a specfic blow dryer and couldnt find it. Seemed like all of the sales people were huddle in the corner talking and although I cant imagine they didnt notice we were having a hard time finding an item, not a single employee said a word to us. We walked away from the blow dryers while I searched Google to see if Target had our item. An employee walked past us, never looking at us or saying a word. Thankfully Target had what we needed. My grandmother was disappointed because she was hoping to get help finding makeup, but I guess next time we will make sure to go to the Shreveport store.

Products are great but the customer service not so much.

Favorite place to buy make-up but they are always out of stock on a lot of things and also too many open packages that have been used!
