Every time I go to Ortho Carolina Boone, I get great treatment. All of the providers are knowledgeable and aim to get you the best pain relieve with the least invasive treatment. Matt Howard, P.A. does a terrific job of working up the preliminary treatment before sending you on to the specific specialist that will meet your particular need. I would highly recommend seeing him if you have orthopedic problems today!

Scheduled an appointment with the hand specialist at Ortho almost 1 1/2 months to have both hands looked at. Conditions were painful thumb joint and carpal tunnel. Doctor was extremely agitated and already running 1 1/2 behind and my appointment was at 9:40. He barked out I have no time to look at both of your hands and I can only look at 1 condition now! I did not set up appointment with picking my worst hand and worst condition. I have never had a Doctor act so rude and unprofessional. Dr Katz was in such a hurry!! It was not my intention to put this doctor further behind but to get my hands diagnosed to make important decisions on possible surgery. I would not let this doctor ever touch my hands with surgery or anything as he has no time to treat them and would be in a massive hurry to get it over with. My hands being an it and not part of my being. Sterile and uncaring is not a good surgeon. Ortho Carolina is too busy and in a hurry to over book and create a toxic environment for patients and doctors who suppose to have an oath of care and treatment. They have managed to destroy the care and take it away from the people and replace it with profit of the many cattle. Too bad so sad

On the basis four years of experience I trust her diagnoses and her proven professional judgment. She has provided excellent advice in providing continuous solutions for a variety of joint problems. My son broke his wrist while snowboarding... the area was under a winter storm warning.... we were from out of town and did not know anyone... we were very anxious. We we were referred by a local urgent care and from the moment we got started with OrthoCarolina our nerves began to settle. We were so warmly and efficiently greeted by the staff. Everyone was so kind and caring. Then we met Matthew. He is obviously extremely good at his profession. He quickly diagnosed my sons injury and explained our options. He took the time to elaborate on the treatment options and discuss them with us, which not only was that something we appreciated but it instilled us with confidence in Matthew. We agreed to the treatment plan there in the office. The team was amazing and the results were even more impressive. I didnt have an appointment and injured my knee while skiing. OrthoCarolina Boone worked me in first thing the next morning. They were very efficient and had a great staff. They even scheduled my CT scan back home for me.

Broke my wrist. The folks at OrthoCarolina saw me right away. X-rayed and casted within an hour. Staff was extraordinarily friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and caring. If you’re in need of “bone docs” you cannot go wrong by choosing OrthoCarolina.

After surgery in 2015 I was blessed to find the Boone OrthoCarolina office. The staff could not have been any nicer and extremely efficient but they were all so very nice. From my first meeting with Ms. Gilbert to the best doctor I have ever found, Dr.McGehee that office has been a life saver for me and in turn my family.I have been quite taken back by Dr. McGehee bringing me back from barely walking to feeling back to normal. He has a manner unlike a doctor’s office seen this day and time. He explained things to me where not only did I understand every word but I felt like I was his only patient and he treated me like I was a member of his family. My only regret is I wish this office could be my primary care provider and I had found Ms. Gilbert and Dr. McGehee years ago. Thank you all and especially Dr. McGehee for giving me my life back.

Have been going to OrthoCarolina for years and the entire staff in Boone are friendly, timely and caring.

The staff that checks the patients in at OrthoCarolina have always been very pleasant and helpful. Not something you always see in doctors offices these days. My first time meeting Dr. Katz. He was very professional and seemed to know exactly what my issue was.

Dr. Howard is belittling and rude and short with patients.

Well prepared to prevent spreading of COVID 19 Virus. Less than 5 minute wait time before being checked in. Staff was very courteous as always. Less than 2 minutes before being brought back to an exam room by another courteous staff member. Less than 1 minute before Kathryn came in and greeted us (my wife and I), and was very professional and knowledgeable during my knee exam. She was also very thorough and and answered all our questions beyond satisfaction.Also was able to speak to Dr. Krenzel for several minutes and as always, he was very informative and extremely pleasurable to talk to. We feel very Blessed to have him as our orthopedic Doctor! As always, Carolina Ortho allows their patients to leave with a positive experience!

Follow up post surgery. Xrays showed everything looks great. I still have some foot swelling and soreness at site bone was taken for bone graft. He explained it is from scar tissue and to massage area with cocoa butter for relief.I am to call if I need anything.Thank you Kyle and Dr. Geideman.

It was a very good experience Teresa was so nice at the front desk. Lisa the nurse was very calming and reassuring and Matt Howard was fantastic even though his shot hurt ha ha it was a great experience except for the pain. But the pain stop like he said later so thats good 👍👍

If youve got insurance, theyll help you rack up a BIG BALANCE! But then stop assistance if you even owe twenty dollars. They did surgery on my husband that turns out he didnt really even need and now he barely has use of his hand and can get no help because he left care with a balance.

This is my sons account, but Ms Gilbert made me feel at ease when she entered the room with a big friendly smile! Shes a wonderful comunicater and listener! She took the time to explain a complex case.

Dr. Geideman is terrific. He listens to the patient, does a thorough evaluation, and explains his plan of action. Its so nice to have a very competent orthopedic doctor so close to home!

My appointment was on time with no wait. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of my needs. I would recommend this office to anyone that need help.

Orthocarolina has really changed for the better. Matt listens and then asks questions. Speaks to me not over me. Last couple of visits I was worked in within 24 hours. 48 hours after my visit I am off crutches and pain is 80% better. Matt was dead on his diagnosis and timeline. Orthocarolina is gaining my trust back and Matt has been a big part of it.

OrthoCarolina has a great staff. Always pleasant and helpful. Dr. Geideman is an excellent Dr. He is very knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend him .

I have struggle with 2 issues and went to Boone Ortho for both. Neither doctors I saw at Ortho Carolina in Boone helped. One issue an MRI was recommended which cost me over $500 out of pocket and that MRI was never used to determine help for me. The other issue was my foot which I have struggled with for years. I was told my issue was that I have a flat foot. I final went to Good Feet and they printed my foot while I walked. I do not have a flat foot - very clear in the printed image. No help at all in fact just gave me information to get me out of the office. I do not recommend this group at all.

My wife and I were on a trip to the High Point Furniture Market. We stopped in Boone to spend the night and my wife had terrible pain in her right arm and couldnt even lift it up. She was miserable and we considered canceling the trip and coming home. We called the clinic the next morning and they got us in right away, gave my wife a cortisone shot, and sent us on our way -- PAIN FREE !!! We couldnt have been treated any better or faster!! Thank you OrthoCarolina!!

While my insurance has been a problem and I owe them money they have been very helpful. They may not do my surgery without money but they have been helpful in pointing me in the right direction. Dr.Califf has been awesome, but his Nurse Sarah is a Saint/Angel.

Lynne Gilbert, PA, is the most caring, efficient, and knowledgeable medical provider I have met in a long time. She works very hard to ascertain the medical issue, and she works even harder to resolve it for the patient.

Theres nothing to share, we were told I couldnt be seen because the referral didnt come in. But you had to send it in to get an appointment. ????

The front desk staff is extremely unhelpful, uncooperative and fairly useless. I have been there for several visits with them and made several phone calls in which they are useless and unhelpful. For example I called up today to get them to forward My information to my primary care physician. They do not want to be bothered. They want me to call up my primary care physician and have him request the information. I am already on the phone asking for it now you are creating more work for me and my primary care physician. When he came to my financial information they were uncooperative when I overpay them trying to get my money back.The only person that was exceptional was Jane hutchco (who was wonderful) and she is in the Charlotte office. The boone office is a Fairly useless office I am going to another one. I do not want to deal with people that do not want to be helpful

I will Never promote this office as their business practices are based on ripping off their patients. $150.00 to refer me to another Dr. when I was already refered by my regular Dr. and Ortho said they could not do the job when I was already scheduled for it...

Dr.Califf is an awesome doctor. Kind and gentle. Great bedside manner. His nurse Sarah Clark was verry nice and answered all my questions quickly. She also called me back with in the same hour. The front desk staff Randall P and Lola P were awesome in helping me fill out my forms. I would highly recommend Dr.Califf and Ortho Carolina for your surgical needs. I have had spine surgery and was pleased with Dr.Califf and the office staff. They treat you great and like family. I would give them a 100 out of 5 stars. Thanks for the great service Brandie T
