They make appointments with you, then come up with lies, not to keep them! They ( the doctors), need to start running the practice, and stop letting the McFarland Clinic Mafia, make their choices for them!

Dr. Eric Peterson is professional and personable. He asks a lot of questions and listens to your answers. I was always treated with respect by both Dr. Peterson and the nurses. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff was very helpful. I trust Dr. Petersons medical acumen and would recommend him and the staff of the Boone County Family Medicine South office.

I have been seeing Dr. Dunker, and I really like her. I feel that she answers questions and is not in a hurry. Perhaps I get there at a time when she is not busy, but I have never felt rushed by her. I would highly recommend, and I have, to others.

I am very happy at this clinic with Dr. Devi Dunker being my primary physician. I have been seeing their health coach. Her name is Jenni and I have been very successful with her suggestions for my overall health through eating better! I began my journey June of 2019 and have lost 24 pounds! I am no longer pre-diabetic and my blood sugar is down to 95. My blood pressure is down and I removed one diuretic medication. ( am 68 years old and growing younger. Did I mention that seeing Jenni is free! If serious about your health and how to improve it, make an appointment to see her.

It was a weird way to the receptionists treat the patients. There was 3 today, the one short brunette hair, help me it’s okay but the other two were laughing to who knows what but coincidentally when I was talking to one of them.... they couldn’t stop doing it, trying to hide themselves between their desk. Not professional at all.

I dont know why Im surprised, but I always am with this clinics absolute disdain for their customers. And yes, I said customers not patients, for we are their customers we pay them and it would be good for them to remember that...but they dont. My appt. was for 9:15 for a simple 2nd pneumonia shot. Got there at 9:05...finally at 9:25 I asked the receptionist how much longer it was going to be and it seemed that waiting this long was too long and she agreed. So she called back to the nurse again (this was just a shot, no doctor required)...another 5 minutes go by and she finally shows up. I was angry and let her know it, the bad care I have received at this clinic could fill a novel. She explained, first that the receptionist had not called her, but she had because I saw her do it...OK, lie #1 doesnt work, lets try lie #2...I have other patients, you know. Really? Because I had been sitting there for half an hour and saw one lady go back to the lab, a mother and child come out of another doctors room on the other side of the clinic and an old woman with a walker who finally just sort of wandered off. That was it. The parking lot is empty and in the middle of flu season is not a very good sign, especially when Boone Medical Practice Norths parking lot was packed. At this point you are probably wondering why I dont just go find another doctor, but in Boone which medically seems to be like a 3rd world nation, that is not as easy as it sounds. I write this in hopes that they will see it and suddenly hear the giant explosion of their heads coming out of their butts. And darn it, now my arm hurts! Probably not good to get in an argument with someone giving you a shot (lol).

The first doctor I had left me sitting in examination rooms for upwards of nearly 2 hours while she flitted around. The second doctor was ok, but lacked basic empathy and seemed to be smirking the whole time I was there. The next doctor dug through my medical records and pulled out a comment from a prior physician from SIXTEEN YEARS AGO, and plastered right on the front of my medical record that I have a disease I have never had, never been treated for. Attempts to get her to remove the diagnoses were unsuccessful. The next doctor was ok. I needed to schedule another appointment to see her. Did that, and at home I mistakenly wrote on my calendar the wrong day for the appointment. I ended up missing the appointment and didnt even realize it, due to my mistake. As a result of this, I received a nasty letter from the clinic raging at me for missing the appointment, and how 3 chances and I am out. They ranted about how I failed to show up and how I FAILED to notify them ahead of time that I would not be there. They then said they were putting a letter in my medical records about how I FAILED to arrive for an appointment and how this was not going to be tolerated.Really? I inadvertantly, through no ill intent, missed an appointment and now there is a letter in my medical records, signed personally by my doctor? Then I am advised they would like to keep me as a patient.I dont think so.I considered calling to explain what happened, but at this point I simply intend to find another doctor. One who doesnt take personally a missed appointment, has a big emorage, and puts a letter in my medical record.
