My wife and I enjoyed the Happiness Retreat. The breathing exercises are something well use for the rest of our lives. Really opened up our creative side and Ive been using the relaxation techniques a lot to meditate.

Worst facial I have ever received. The woman was so harsh on my face that I had to tell her she was being too rough. The towels they put on your face are scalding. 3 days later and my face feels over exfoliated, raw, and red. Also, the pictures look great online but the ambiance is almost like going to a dorm room. We have been to a different day spa in Boone and it was amazing. This place was horrible, unfriendly staff, and under educated service providers. Do not go.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Blue Heaven Spa.The facility was clean, logical, and well-maintained, with a friendly and attentive staff (who, in two instances during my stay, went above and beyond their duties, and have my gratitude for doing so). After booking, I was given detailed directions to the premises, enabling me to find it without problem. While there, I underwent several treatments, including the free onsite steam rooms, and was highly pleased with all of them. Likewise, I found the prices for all things to be reasonable. However, the spas biggest plus is its location: at the very top of a Blue Ridge mountain, perfectly silent, wonderfully secluded, and offering a million-dollar view of the mountains neighbors. Truly, to stay in such an environment was worth the price of admission in itself.So, a big thank-you to everyone at Blue Heaven Spa, for providing me my restful and nourishing five days at your establishment. I treasure this experience.

Whenever I take a course at the Retreat Center, I always stay at the Shankara Ayurveda Spa. The amenities in the room and in the common areas are amazing; luxurious with caring attention to detail. I loved the plush towels, robes and personal care products in my room. I really appreciated the gym - it gave me an opportunity to exercise each morning before my course started. The Ayurvedic teas that are available 24/7 in the sitting room are superb - I truly enjoyed pouring myself a cup each morning and evening before bed. Even the water cooler was impressive, with fresh orange slices in it. The staff is attentive, caring and very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this spa to anyone and everyone, whether you are visiting the Retreat Center for yoga or whether you simply want a fantastic spa experience with gorgeous mountain views.

Body massage, hot oil and bliss treatment awesome. View of mountains nice. Room comfortable, has fridge, no microwave. Vegetarian food at in ground retreat center very good.

I got one for my nose and throat Allergies. It was really effective. The lady who does Spa is very very nice and warm. The staff is very nice as well.

For anyone looking for a relaxing experience and a wonderful getaway, this is the perfect place. I came in and had a Marma/Facial treatment. This was my first experience with this type of treatment and it was fascinating. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and caring. Everyone there went out of their way to ensure I had a great time, and I did. The views and atmosphere at the spa are truly spectacular. Just entering the campus and facility automatically brings relaxation; and together with the great staff, my overall experience was amazing. I will definitely come back again.

It has been an amazing experience here. The views are amazing, the staff is super friendly and down to earth. Its a great place to pamper yourself, relax ,and find yourself spiritually. I will definitely be returning!

Great views all around! The amenities are a bit antiquated. The property could use a touch up and the grounds could be better kept. All understandable given the size of the property. None the less, the quiteness and views really provide a sense of peace, unity and tranquility.

I was immediately transformed to a state of bliss!The treatments here are kinda weird but the results are phenomenal. Ive been through a lot of illness and stress the past couple years and the 5,000 year old techniques were amazing. I did the Royal Treatment, Nasya, and Netra Tarpana. Holistic diagnosis and treatment. One of a kind Ayurveda Spa with awesome views, expert doctors and staff. Its very nice and refreshing to get consultation , few treatments or spend a few days doing Panchkarma treatment.

The WORST part of my trip to the area. When booking, they did not tell us GPS would take us to a locked entrance where we picked up written instruction that took 15 more min to get to the spa. After we paid, we learned to access their relaxation room to prep, we would have to climb stairs from 1st to 3rd floor. My friend cant negotiate flights of steps, no elevator in the building...it was ridiculous. The patronizing tone and lack of effort to accommodate us was galling. Just repeating the phrase Im sorry like a parrot is not customer service.

Great place to unwind and also learn stress relieving practices to do at home.
