I walked in right as they opened without an appointment. I explained I had torn my contact lens in my left eye and believed part of it was still in there. The staff was so nice and immediately prepared for me to see the doctor. Dr. Boyce came in and performed a thorough examination and gave me a treatment plan. All is good and I am grateful for the staff and doctor at Clarkson. Highly recommend this office.

Love the Eye exam staff and Eye Dr. The guy that helps you pick out your glasses not so much. I have insurance that covers 150 $. He took me to the glasses that would cost me around 400$. Very attentive until I told him I have not worked in 8 weeks and only wanted the 150 $ glasses. The attentive change I was told here what you can pick. Then when I picked up my glasses same guy said looks good. I was out of there in less then 5 minutes. Didn’t even clean my glasses. Not even one of those little rags to clean my own glasses. Made me feel not important.

Dr. Boyce and the staff at Clarkson Kenwood/Blue Ash were wonderful. Everyone in the office was helpful and friendly upon my arrival. Each of them did whatever they could to make my first visit go seemlessly.I really appreciate their care for detail, and honest feedback on medicine, contacts, and fit for my new glasses.I highly recommend them as top quality eyecare in Cincinnati.

I was helped promptly and never made to wait at all between any services, from checking in to paperwork to going from each eye station. The optician who first checked me out was nice (unfortunately I don’t remember her name) and the doctor was thorough and explained my eye photographs to me which no doctor has ever done. He second optician who helped me with purchasing glasses was patient and very sweet, her name was Barb. Overall I am extremely pleased with the service and care I got and would recommend it to anyone searching for an eye doctor. The only thing I noticed is that their selection of frames (while good) seemed to be mostly on the expensive side. If you’re looking for much cheaper options (below $100) this probably isn’t the place for you to purchase glasses.

Had an appointment at 3:10 called at 3:12 saying we were running late because of major traffic,construction and a storm. they then said we have a 10 min late policy and we’re unbelievably rude. not scheduling an appointment there ever again!

The staff and doctor are top notch for service, comfort, friendliness, and professionalism. The doctor prescribed Xiidra opthalmic dry eye drops that have taken away my discomforts after just one days use. Best of all, Im finally getting the feminine aviators Ive always wanted with no line bifocals and light changing tints. Its a really nice place to go to for the care of your eyes. I had an overall great experience at the Kenwood Clarkson Eyecare location when I went in for an eye exam. The entire staff was very friendly and informative throughout the appointment. It was my first time there and definitely not my last!

Was able to speak to the district manager at my appointment today--she must be the reason accountability has declined to such a level--this catty Karen talked over me, didnt address any of my issues, and threatened me with a lack of social distance. Just wow.Previous review: 5 stars**The location used to be Thoma and Sutton EyecareThis office before changing hands used to be amazing at customer care. I called them and made my annual appointment on the 3rd, and I asked several specific questions about coverage on my insurance plan since they had changed hands since my last visit. After entering my complete insurance info, I was told that I was covered for only the eye exam, which I expected.They told me they would call right away if there were any issues (or cancellations, I am wearing my backup glasses which are awful). I heard nothing for two weeks. I even confirmed my appointment with their receptionist via text 48 hours prior.I just received a phone call from the office manager who let me know that my exam would NOT be covered and I would have to pay $95 (much more than average for my area) at my appointment tomorrow. The office manager admitted that it was the appointment-taker being confused about which networks they belong to. I told them thats a lot to afford on less than 24 hours of notice and asked if they would be willing to work with me, and it was rather rudely reiterated that I would be required to pay in full at the appointment.I wouldnt have had an issue at all if they could have worked with me, or even if I had been notified in a timely fashion. This was clearly a dropped ball and the patient is the one who pays the (literal and figurative) price at this office when something goes wrong on their end. Ive been waiting for two weeks just to be told Im disqualified 24 hours before my appointment. Unacceptable.

This is my second annual visit with Clarkson and they are nothing short of professional, accommodating and thorough. They worked patiently with me to find the right contacts and eye glasses to fit my needs.

Dr. Boyce is absolutely wonderful! The staff was very welcoming and very helpful.

There are several things I like about this eye care office. One, I was seen within 10 minutes of walking in the front door. Two, the eye test was given BEFORE my eyes were dilated, which I much prefer. Three, the doctor actually performed the eye test and dialed in my prescription. Some practices turn this over to the assistant. I prefer the doctor do it because I feel they are more highly trained. Four, they were able to provide glass lenses, which I believe provide more precise optics than plastic ones. Ive had my glasses for a couple of months now, and I love them. I wear them more frequently than I did my previous, plastic lenses because I can now see up close through them. The lenses are progressive lenses, and the eye tech very wisely designed them to maximize their use. I couldnt be more pleased.

I trust in the care that Ive been given. Everyone is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Eyes are very important!

Very good first time visit. All staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The doctor took time to explain what she was doing and answer any questions I had. At no time did I feel rushed as I have experienced at other offices.

Always the best experience. I went in and wasnt sure if the glasses style I was looking for were there, and I shared that with the team. She spent over 30 minutes helping me try pair on, adjusting them, giving me her thoughts, and then getting me the cheapy price she could. She even adjusted my current pair so they arent crooked anymore!The exam was also great. Quick and to the point (because of covid) but also thorough. He was witty and fun and incredibly kind. The person who did all the pretests was awesome and I loved her (and she was so patient with me when I flinched every single time they checked my eye with various tools).I wont go anywhere else. Full stop.

Clarkson Kenwood followed social distancing guidelines but at the same time provided excellent service and took care of my current Eye Care requirements. They use technology that found issues that had not been found before and I really appreciated the fact that these issues were found before they became any worse. I valued the ophthalmologist and opticians time and also the technician that supported the ophthalmologist. I will be coming back to this location.

Excellent service, physician and staff were very professional and helpful! Lisa was very patient, and took extra time helping me select my eyeglasses. She was very honest. Caressa was excellent and patient with the testing and photographs taken prior to seeing the doctor so he could make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr.Baik answered all of my questions clearly and developed a good treatment plan for treating my dry eye disorder. He didnt rush me and explained that I wasnt ready for cataract surgery yet rather than pushing me too soon.

I haven’t felt comfortable and satisfied with the care I have been given for my eyes since I moved back from Illinois 4 years ago. I am super excited to finally have found excellent eye care in Ohio. Highly recommend. Great technology and fair pricing!! Thank you 😊

I was really in a rush, and I was able to get on the schedule the same day, which is almost never for eye Care. The staff at the front were polite and very efficient. The Optometrist was very friendly and quite thorough. The Optician is warm and friendly. Initially, I felt lucky to just get in the door on the same day, but at the end, I have to say the wonderful patient experience is the real lucky part. I will stick with this location for my eye care and recommend my friends as well

Scary actually to imply that one might have a detaching retina and possible cancer. Only to find out None of which were true, not even remotely. I ended up see an actual Ophthalmologist for an accurate examination.Then to pay for all services at the time of service however, my insurance billed, as well. Double billing? It appears this way since the billing department has not responded to questions in this regard in five weeks. I will likely resort to contacting my insurance company directly to compare invoices.Extremly poor customer service.
