First of all, Jennah, the patient coordinator, greets each of us as if we are VIPs. She also does her very best to book appointments that are most convenient for us. Tyler cares deeply about treating my back and foot issues and offers instructions with clarity so that I can participate in my own care. I continue to learn from Tyler how to promote my own wellness in my activities of daily living. What stands out the most to me is the compassion shown by each member of the staff: Jennah, Molly, Tyler and Anna. Thank you, Ivy Rehab, for hiring such outstanding people!

Molly is great! She explained to me my condition in simple language and designed a treatment plan that worked well. By doing the suggested exercises at home, I was able to feel better very quickly. She did not suggest for me to keep coming back - instead, she sent with me sets of exercises I could do on my own but left open the possibility to go back in case I need more help. So far, Im good! Thanks very much, Molly!

I had a great experience with Ivy Rehab on my first visit. The facility is very clean and quiet and in a great location. I met with Josh, he is a SuperStar, definitely ask for him! Josh knows his stuff and as a long time athlete, who has no time to be injured, Im confident that he get me back into tip top shape. Looking forward to my treatment there, highly recommended!

I initially met Joshua Smith, my Physical Therapist when I signed up to (walk ) in the Chicago half marathon in 2019. I would NOT have thought I could even run if not for the fear he removed by me listening to people without Joshs knowledge. At 61 years old, I ran my first half marathon in 2 hrs & 21 minutes (including a stop at the porta potty!)Then 8 months later, I strained my back by lifting heavy furniture. I decided to either try a chiropractor OR P.T. with Josh and am currently in physical therapy. Josh listens, and cares, but more than this, he has the experience in sports-related injuries as well as joint and muscle strains. I decided I needed to stop listening to people who do not have training, and see if physical therapy might help. If you are looking to find a skilled Physical Therapist who listens to you and can help you meet your goals, please try Josh Smith at Ivy Rehab!

Nice facility and great, honest people working there. The team, especially Tyler, is easy to work with regarding whatever is bothering you and takes the time to listen and ensure thorough understanding of your condition. Tyler is very knowledgeable and understands a great deal about the human body and how it works which helps him diagnose and pinpoint pain points. I would highly encourage anyone suffering from nerve entrapment issues to visit ivy rehab.

Awesome staff and facilities. This corporation has a billing department that does not know how to communicate. You can not pay at the facility. I had to call 3 months after service to find my balance. I was told the balance and I paid it.Today 7 months after service I received a bonus statement requesting additional funds. There is no way I would ever do business with Ivy Rehab ever again.

As a sports medicine doctor, my job is to help get my patients back to sports and activities as soon as possible and to help minimize or completely resolve their pain. Josh Smith is always at the top of my list of who to send my patients to when they are needing physical therapy. He is especially skilled with treating young athletes/athletes of all ages and I have had nothing but phenomenal results working with him. My patients love him so much. Do yourself a favor and give Josh at Ivy Rehab a call! He is the best!

My four year old is going to physical therapy to help her walk flat footed instead of always on her tip toes. She absolutely loves going to work with Josh and Tyler! They make it fun while still working on stretching her muscles. She loves walking like animals, playing catch, and balancing through obstacle courses. She opened up to them quickly and looks forward to going! I’m excited to see her growth over the course of her therapy.

Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is an excellent facility. Josh Smith, the PT who has been working with me, has helped me recover from ACL reconstruction--my mobility and strength have improved more than I ever thought possible in 2 weeks!! Josh was referred to me by Ellen Furlong; she also had a great experience. Finally, the student interns who work at Ivy are fabulous.

I had ACL reconstruction performed at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago. I was looking for a local rehab facility two weeks post operation and started doing some digging. I landed on Ivy after working with Alyssa at the front desk. The tone was friendly and inviting from the start. Alyssa went out of her way to get paper work to me prior to my appointment so that I would be ready to hit physical therapy when I arrived. The staff is very knowledgeable on injuries and rehab programs. I arrived at the facility in delicate form. I couldnt get out of a vehicle on my own and wasnt driving. Within 3 visits I gained extensive range of motion and was walking on one crutch. I worked with Tyler Bishop and some of his support staff. The other physical therapist, Josh has subbed in on appointments when necessary and provided knowledge on the injury and excellent exercises that pushed me to limits I wouldnt have taken myself. I feel optimistic that the emaining time at Ivy will lead me to a full path of recovery after my first couple of weeks in rehab. I highly recommend their program to anybody!

Ivy is the place to go! I have been working with Tyler to strengthen my back/hips/glutes. Tyler took on the challenge of getting me back to running without pain and we have made great progress! He is very patient with me and always has a new exercise or idea for continued progress. I would recommend Tyler and Josh to anyone, especially those looking for a PT who understands the mindset of an active person.

I have gotten a chance to work with both Josh and Tyler regarding my hip issue. This injury has been a reoccurring issue for me and they listened to what was going on and what I find helps more than other things. Their assistants and techs are very friendly and push you to help you better yourself without going outside your comfort zone. I highly recommend them!

After having chronic back pain and an acute back injury that required a trip to the ER, I was barely able to walk even with strong pain medications. My primary physician recommended that I see Josh Smith at Ivy Rehab. Since I had been treated by Josh in the past for a sports injury, I was in full agreement that he would be a great choice to help me recover. After a couple of months of treatment, Josh and his staff have helped me get back to my active life of running a horse farm, feeling better than I have in years. Josh was able to conclude that the issue was actually a hip/pelvic imbalance causing the back spasms and not just from a bad back. I am so grateful that he and his team have helped me get back in the saddle, literally! I highly recommend them!

Josh Smith has taught me more than any PT I have had in 30 years since I first injured my back. Iv met a lot of smart PTs but they will typically treat around the area of pain and generally I always feel like they get tired of thinking and just do the obvious. But backs are complex systems and i end up getting reinjured or new areas of pains. Josh dug deeper into my problem to find some other muscles/injury that were chronically pulling on the area where I have the most pain. He is also teaching me about what is going on to help me make decisions on my own.
