I started my daughters intake process here in March 2017 It took about 7 months to get everything finalized which is not typical and then when she started to receive services the therapist would always be late or cancel and often had me sign the sheets saying she did services basically research out of the home but I only received info on sleep from her never any other time so she was being paid to do nothing which is fraud and when I spoke up they took my daughters hours from the little 16 hrs a wk to less and their scheduling is all over the place they would always change it last minute people would show up for meetings to review the itp without notifying me or constant cancellations. I was told I’d have parent training and my daughter would be potty trained with in 6 months no one worked on that or anything in the Itp and I can sadly say all my 6 yr old ASD daughter learned was to clap her hands during the yr & half I tried to stay with skills in hopes the new therapist would be better and & full time hours would be available.. everything else my daughter had learned I have struggled to teach her myself with waiting lists & limited services and help for kids on the spectrum in this state. But Skils ATPE is the worst in MN so if you want to waste you & your child’s time with no progress this is the place.
