We had such a great experience working with this company. We needed some electrical work done in our house, so we gave them a call. They were able to get to work very quickly and did an excellent job! One aspect I am especially pleased with was that they were able to add a light switch for us without putting holes into our wall or ceiling (we were told by another company that we would have to patch some holes if they did it). I would absolutely recommend giving them a call for all your heating, cooling, and electrical needs.

This company have handled my furnace installations, central air and electrical work for many years. I have absolutely no complaints or negative comments. Recently they replaced my furnace and central in a recently purchased house and they were in and finished in two days time. I recommend them to everyone!

I had an amazing experience with this company. The gentleman who took my call was friendly, professional, and got an electrician out to my house the following morning. The electrician provided the same excellent level of service! He listened to my issues, then found and fixed them quickly and at a very reasonable cost. I will definitely be using this company again for future repairs and projects!

Not only did I have a middle of the night heater failure, a real person answered the phone at 7AM and was there by 9:15. I was blown away by the clear and professional manor of the technician. Some people fix things, but this guy UNDERSTANDS all elements of the system and is a true master of his craft.I would recommend his service for ANY residential project. This is the most professional and quality driven electrical and HVAC firm you will find in Monroe County! They installed our backup generator and did some additional AC maint work and it was perfect. On time, on budget, with an incredible level of professionalism by all. They practiced covid19 safe distancing and wore masks all the time they were here. And they wiped down everything they touched with sanitizer. I have been with them a few years, and they have never disappointed me. Their willingness to work with me on payments, cannot be matched. This is the best Heating and Cooling Company in Bloomington bar none.

When we needed a new furnace/A/C system, we purchased an expensive unit from the company that had been doing our annual inspections. The unit was installed in May, 2018 and, although the A/C worked fine, the heat would never turn on when it got cold. The dealer sent their servicemen out 5 or 6 times in the Fall/early Winter of 2018 to get it started each time but if it got warmer and the heat turned off , it would never start again on its own. Each time the servicemen assured us that the problem was fixed after they replaced parts or did overrides on the system. When we turned the heat on in the Fall, 2019 and it didnt start AGAIN, I called Bryant who provided me with the contact info of Bloomington Heating and Cooling, advising that they were their authorized dealer in my area. I called the company and Kevin came out the same day to thoroughly inspect our system. Ultimately, he discovered that the installer had used an adhesive compound that was so expandable that it nearly closed off the gas input pipe and likely had caused pcs. of adhesive to get sucked into the modulating gas valve. After replacing the modulating valve and, more importantly, cleaning out the gas pipe, the furnace came on by itself and started again after shutting off with higher temps. The original installer just kept getting the furnace to engage without searching further to find the real problem. Im so impressed with Kevin and Bloomington Heating and Cooling that I wanted to let others know their outstanding skill level. Never again will I buy a system from someone who does annual inspections without doing due diligence. I want the best and thats what weve found in Bloomington Heating and Cooling! Despite it taking over a year to get a new furnace to work as it should, Im relieved to have found a company willing to look deeper into problems and find long-term solutions. Well be using Bloomington Heating and Cooling for annual inspections from now on, confident that if there are future problems, we have an excellent resource!

Recently, one of the techs came out to my house and I must say he was so kind and I have to thank them for how neat he was. He even takes his shoes off at the front door! Kevin has an awesome group of guys! They have serviced my home and rentals for years! Kevin’s sons have been a blessing for me with all their knowledge! They are always quick to help me out and always professional. I cannot commend them enough for some of the tough work they have had to do over the years and it’s always a great price. Kevin is great to work with and I tell everyone this is Bloomington’s best!

I have used several heating and air companies in the area and BHCE are by far the best. Their prices are very reasonable, they have been able to get out quickly to resolve my problems and they arrive when they say they will. With 3 properties, having a good heating/air person at the ready is important to me.

I called Kevin at 5:30am on one of the coldest days in the year because I woke up to a house with no heat. He was at my house within the hour, identified and replaced the broken part, and restored my furnace quickly. He was very polite, friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to call him again!

UPDATE: I removed my previous review of 2 weeks ago. Today, July 21st, we got a check in the mail from the owner of BHC as a reimbursement for 6lbs of refrigerant that leaked out of cooling unit same day of service. So I will say this business is reputable. I will bump them up to a 5 star because they did the right thing. I certainly commend them for that.

Very disappointed in this company, I was working with Caleb on prices of getting a gas furnace installed, when he found out I wanted to install a used furnace in order to save some money instead of purchasing a brand new one from them at this time. I have emailed him multiple times requesting information on installing a used furnace and pricing. He has stopped responding, very poor customer service, some people can not afford everything new. I would have thought for a family ran and owned business, that they would treat their customers with more respect. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Wow, what a breath of fresh air this company is! I actually have an extensive background in HVAC during my military life, so I speak the lingo pretty well. I had a few ideas about the classic “intermittent fault” our 1992 furnace was tossing at us. However, I didn’t have my old tools and test equipment, nor a service manual and schematic.The technician was polite & knowledgeable. He conducted a thorough safety inspection. He found a well built, older furnace in good working order, all in all. He cleaned and adjusted a few items, but he simply could not get the unit to do what it (sometimes) does at 1AM to repeat its performance 930AM… (uggh).So far it’s back to normal, but secretly I’m hoping the component that is actually faulty makes a hard-break so the problem is obvious…Great job, and great service!
