I’ve been using the MediSpa for almost two years and absolutely love it. The laser hair removal results are amazing. Tessa is my absolute favorite. She’s so great at what she does. She’s so personable and makes the entire experience so comfortable. I truly enjoy coming in to see her each visit. I can’t recommend it enough, so worth it. Amazing!!

I’ve been a patient here for years now! Everyone is always so friendly and kind. Dr. Baechtold is a really great doctor. She listens to all of my concerns and explains things very thoroughly. She got me in very quickly when I was having a dermatological issue. All around a great place!

I have struggled with acne for 15+ years. I didnt get a break from teen acne before I ran into adult acne, its been a pretty steady relationship with acne since I was 14. I met with Sue Stolz today and she is going to help me finally have clear skin again! I couldnt believe how fast I was in and out and how kind and knowledgeable the staff was. 10/10 recommend!

Visited two times, once for an overall body checkup the second for a medspa appointment. I understand now from both of my visits that they are on a strict time restraints for every time slot, which feels a bit rushed.Dr. Stoltz was thorough, prompt, and answered all my questions, however felt rushed and deemed all my mole removal requests as cosmetic, which was a bit of a let down, since I was already there and with a doctor I trusted. I came back to the medspa ($50 consultation fee) and found that having two tiny (tiny) moles removed would cost $200.. The Medspa also doesn’t give out any pricing sheets at all, which probably could have prevented me from spending the $50 consultation fee.Rating them a 3/5 because it is a professional office and staff was friendly however not ideal customer service and neither visit resulted in in my desire outcome :-/

Have been going to this practice for many years and have always been pleased with the providers, the staff and the facility. Everyone is friendly, caring and very competent in both the medical areas and aesthetics I highly recommend both.

I’m blown away by the front desk. Our primary doctor had passed away a few days ago while trying to figure out my wife’s skin condition. He had spoken to “a dermatologist friend” about my wife just two days before he passed.I called the front desk not having any idea if I was even speaking to the correct office and explained. The receptionist, Brook, said they had eight dermatologists, but that she would try to figure it out. Within a couple minutes, she had figured it out and connected me with the right doctor. Absolutely excellent.

Ive been going here for years and have been pleased with them overall. They have long wait times to get an appointment with a doctor, but this year, they have been doing more telehealth appointments and I was able to send photos to them and get a telehealth appointment quickly. The office is very nice and clean and the scheduling staff and nurses are friendly and professional. The only thing I didnt like is when I first went there years ago, they tried to push acne treatments and special soaps on me (that they sell at their office) when I wasnt there to discuss acne. I was there to get check-ups on my moles. My acne is gone now so they havent brought it up lately, lol. I didnt have super bad acne either, so it just seemed odd. Ironically, I finally stopped getting pimples when I stopped using any soap on my face. This was a minor issue though and I would still recommend them to anyone looking for a dermatologist in the area!

Under no circumstances should you see Dr. Baechtold for acne. She looked at my skin under my mask for about 2 seconds and wouldn’t let me get a single word in. She did not care about my painful acne history (6 years and counting) or that I have tried the cheap drug store brand of skincare products she recommended and that they made my acne worse. If you want a doctor that lets you talk and actually cares about the issues you came in to be treated for, do NOT go to Dr. Baechtold.

All of the doctors at Southern Indiana Dermatology are wonderful, I especially liked doctor McTeague and doctor Wang, but because of a skin cancer that I had to have Moh’s surgery done on, it had left me with only a partial brow over my right eye...The Dermatology Center was just starting up their Medí-Spa department, and I was offered a free micro blading treatment if I was willing to be a practice model (guinea pig), I said yes, of course since it was a $400 procedure...I have went back every year to have my brows touched up at a cost of $100...they have now raised that cost to $150, which okay prices do go up...My complaint though is that the Medí-Spa Esthetician that did my brows at the end of September for a touch up at $150 left spots that once the redness and swelling went down are very noticeable..and she failed to slightly lengthen the tail end of my right brow as we had discussed....Before I could get back in for a finishing touch up to what I had already paid $150 for, my mother’s cancer took a major turn for the worse and she passed away, we buried her just over a week ago...So my issue is that sometimes there are circumstances beyond our control that keep us from finishing things we would have liked to have finished...Now that I have time I have called and messaged the people at the Medí-Soa only to be told it will cost me ANOTHER $150 to finish my brows because they consider this as another “Touch-up”...Correct me if my thinking is off, but I think this is very extremely uncaring, and also VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!.

The dermatologist that I saw was extremely good, personable, and patiently and clearly answered all my questions and concerns.However, the office of the Dermatology Center is rude and ignores patient interests, requests, and directives. For example, despite filling out my address clearly on my patient intake forms they sent my bill to an address they must have found through my insurance card (when I first got insurance I was at that address). It would have taken them all of 1 second to compare the address in the system with what I wrote down and to use the appropriate address. They also repeatedly called me on a phone number I had refused to give them (they must have taken it from my incoming number display when I made the appointment). The calls came in every 5 minutes during a very crucial and very large meeting while I was presenting. They never apologized for ignoring my request not to have a number on record and to only contact by email. This office would probably work fine for you if you never moved, and were fine with being hassled to confirm appointments via phone, but I find the fact that they repeatedly ignored what I told them/wrote for them and instead did things their own way to be indicative of a lack of care for who their patients are, and what those patients are saying to them. I will definitely not go back to this center again, even though I liked the actual dermatologist (I dont want to name her, because I dont want this negative review to impact her search results).

First experience at this office this week. Very clean, nice facility. Dr. McTigue and the clinical and clerical staff were excellent. I appreciate the care they provided.

The staff are so kind and helpful here. I have had cancer screening appointments as skin cancer runs in my family and the practitioners are so patient, reassuring and thorough. I have also used their medi spa for cosmetic treatments and the nurses are absolutely fantastic! I always leave feeling confident and awaiting my next visit. Their prices are amazing too! I will never go anywhere else!

I went to see Dr. Baechtold at DCSI a few weeks ago suffering from a bad cause of eczema on my face that was the worst it’s been since I was a child. After following her guidance for just one week, my skin has cleared up, I’m able to sleep better at night, go throughout my day without thinking about my skin, feel more comfortable being seen by people, and working out without my face stinging from sweat. I was at the point when even being in the the sun for a minute damaged my skin to a painful degree but now that has gone away. I wholeheartedly recommend DCSI and I am so glad I was able to be seen by Dr. Baechtold. I’m so much happier now and can’t sing their praises enough!!!

Id never been to a dermatologist before and Dr. Davis was a great listener and extremely receptive to my concerns. She and her staff were professional and the office space is beautiful. I have not had any problems with scheduling or being seen promptly at my appointment time. She is also extremely helpful when working on a budget as many drugs arent covered by insurance. Great experience.

I’ve always had issue with acne and self image, since I was young. Now I work as a paramedic and stress has brought on more issues (severe worry lines). These folks are fantastic, they helped with a prescription for the acne, I’ve had cosmetic assistance too which has boosted my self confidence in waves. I highly recommend this place.

I wish to recommend the services of DCSI. I lost my dermatologist in another city. I was able to make an appointment here after getting a recommendation from my retired doctor.. I had had numerous Squamous and Basil Cell cancers removed over the past 30 years. I visited Dr. Talley Whang and was impressed with the thoroughness of the first exam....the entire body. Three months later I noticed a squamous cell forming. I was able to get an appointment within two days. Amazing. The lesion was removed effectively. Testing showed it was a cancer.Wonderful service. Efficient service. Personable service. And I thank them very much.

Ive been going to DCSI for various things since I was a child. I feel its a dependable place to go, the wait time in office is never too long, and staff is friendly. As Ive gotten older Ive been to the Medi Spa. I love it! Tessa always makes me feel comfortable. Recently Ive seen Brittany for Botox. I had great results! She gave me what I was looking for and I will be back.

I love the Dermatology Center. The staff and doctors are amazing. The MediSpa has lots to offer including the ZO anti aging product line.

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Davis! When I had confusing symptoms, she biopsied, twice, and when a diagnosis was still elusive, and treatment ineffective, she consulted experts to come up with answers. When I had an emergency, she saw me very early before office hours began, and saw me after 6 pm more than one time. Dr. Davis is great, her staff is great, and she is both caring and highly professional.

My Dr called in a referral to check raised discolored bumps on my back. They answer the phone as a medi spa. They laughed when I told them why I was calling. Skin cancer is not a joke. People die. They are worried about your manicure and vain cosmetic procedures. If you want a day at the spa, this is the place. Need a competent dermatologist, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! PS everyone who answers phones for them is rude and know nothing of the practice they work for. Told me to go look up my coverage to see if they are in network for IU health. The Drs are, but everyone else (nurse, billing people, receptionist) are not, so you get to pay them full price. They scam money from people who are desperate to stay young. Go to a real Dr if you need looked at. You will thank me later

I have went to dcsi for awhile now and they are always so welcoming and helpful! They answer all my questions thoroughly and always do such a wonderful job! I have went there for Botox a few times and have been there in the past for acne reasons. Everyone that has taken care of me is always so kind and informative. I see Brittany for my Botox and she is amazing! I highly recommend going to her if anyone ever needs any Botox done! I will continue to go to dcsi and would recommend that place to anyone!

I have been coming here for years and haven’t had a bad experience yet. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Appointments , even with nurse practitioners take a very long time to set up (seeing a doctor takes even longer to arrange). When you do finally get to see someone, examinations are slipshod and rushed and quality of followup and care is poor. My recent experience is typical of my own and my friends interactions with them. I went in for a very simple and easily fixed problem; it was misdiagnosed and I spent two and a half months suffering with it and the wrong treatment. Finally saw another doctor who couldnt believe they had missed something so obvious and took care of it. Unfortunately, the only dermatology center in the Bloomington area. Its worth driving to Indianapolis for higher quality care.

I was given two punch biopsies on the back of my neck, they asked me if I wear my hair up often, to which I said YES all the Time! I was told the sites would be stitched and only minimum scar at hair line. Went back to remove stitches and Surprise! I have two pencil eraser sized round scars that are very noticeable when my hair is up. Arrggg... Then the topper was that they didnt bother to bill my insurance right, had to pay $100 at time of service or could not make future appointments. Be proactive in your choices and always double check referrals and insurance info, dont assume the providers office will get it right for You!

I went to the Dermatology Center of Southern Indiana after a disastrous time at another Bloomington dermatologist. Dr. Whang has been nothing but wonderful: thorough, smart, and genuinely interested in solving my problems. I highly recommend this place, or at least Dr. Wang.

Absolutely love them! Especially doctor Talley Whang!!! Shes the best I came here over a year ago at first with severe cystic nodular acne, I used to be afraid to even go into public or Walmart because of how bad my face was it came out of nowhere one day never had a lot of acne never wore a bunch of make up. And I had tried every other medicine out there and it still progressively got worse. Not only was it weird and nasty looking but was pretty painful with the amount and the size of the acne basically taking over every pore on my face. A year later I finished my treatment on February 2nd 2018 &I am acne free after almost 2 years of battling horrible face changing acne. Dr. Whang was so professional and so thorough while she examined me. They were very involved and I love all her nurses. I was even seen by another female doctor there and she seemed very involved the appointment I had to have with her. Dr. Whang treated me like I wasnt only part of a treatment but I was part of their team and the medicine I was on was very strong and hard to get with my insurance, blood tests and pregnancy tests every month, they fought with me every bump in the road no matter how frustrating. I can never thank the staff here enough. Highly recommend. I drove almost 2 hours every appointment and it was worth it!

If possible would give zero stars.Took 6 months to get appointment at Dermatology Center Bloomington, waited 2 hours once got there before even being called back, then another 30 min in room. Had to take off work and ended up having to leave before ever seeing doctor as work calling. No apology offered, when asked about when could expect to be seen, told well..... only 5 more before me but they could reschedule. needless to say I left, however they did still charge me my copay fee. Will never use this office again. Ended up going to Indianapolis, got in in 2 weeks after calling, waited 20 min, saw doctor, skin cancer treated at appointment . very professional. beware of Bloomington Dermatology, arrogant and very lousy service!

Dr. Davis is very thorough and professional. It is difficult to get an appointment with them. You have to wait months and months.

Appt. time at 11am dr. Makes it in the room at 12:10. I cant stand the way they act like your time isnt valuable and you have all day to wait. Any other business with piss poor scheduling like that wouldnt last.

My family has received excellent service in years past. I have called on March 27th and the 30th and the soonest I can get an appointment is June 27th. My situation is not critical but needs attention sooner than 3 months from now.

Went in to have something looked at .waited 45 minutes past appointment time. went in and had spot looked at in less than 10 minutes and charged over $150 and somehow 6 months ago $37.50 was taken off my bill and 6 months later put back on my bill so very frustrated

I like the Doctors but cant afford them! Way overpriced! Office visit 105., Remove one skin tag 120., Biopsy of skin 160., pathology done in house 266. Wouldnt you think at least the skin tag could be removed with in the office visit price?
