Dr. Jonathan Hume has taken care of my teeth since his father retired. I sincerely appreciate how warm and caring he is, all while taking care of my smile. He remembers the issues I face due to chronic illness, as I have not taken the care I should with my teeth in the last several years. He gently yet directly sets expectations with me regarding the state of my teeth. I am so thankful for Dr. Hume!!

Best dentist in town! We have been seeing Jon for at least 10 years and I can only say the best about his skills and his staff! Jon is thorough, works great with kids, gentle and kind. He will listen to your concerns and help you find relief. His staff is kind, welcoming, and I love that they have added a 7:00am option for appointments!

The place is pleasant and the staff was always nice. However, I had told them at my initial visit that I had a back tooth I was sure had a cavity starting in it and explained why I felt that way. After they did some ex-rays and examination of my teeth, Dr. Hume told me I did not have a cavity in that tooth. I was very worried about loosing this tooth since my partial hooks into it and it is the farthest tooth on that side.I decided to go to another dentist ( which was months later due to insurance issues) and at that visit, the Dr confirmed that I had a cavity in that tooth and it was so deep that it required a root canal. It has hurt ever since and my partial no longer fits the same. My visit was a few years ago.

I have been going to Hume Dental Associates for 30+ years. Dr. Hume is very caring and is a very good dentist! His associates are very nice too, from the front desk to the dental hygienists. I would recommend going to this great practice.

I was referred to Dr.Jonathon Hume by a good friend. Not too many people look forward to going to the dentist, but where would we be without a good dentist.Everyone is very kind and professional, andthe Dr.makes you feel comfortable. Now that the mask are coming off, it’s good to be able to smile. I would highly recommend Dr. JonathonHume and the staff.Also, the office itself is in a beautiful Victorian house, which is easy to get to with off street parking.

Our family has been going to Dr. Jonathan Hume for the better part of the last 15 years. He is gentle, and has a great demeanor while working at your teeth. Additionally, he is incredibly accommodating. He has seen me on Friday after hours, Saturdays, and Sundays, too. He cares about his patients. He has even called me after a procedure, to check on my comfort. I can not recommend a Dentist, more highly!

It was great to hear Jonathan give me a decent checkup! Been through a lot with having three wisdom teeth pulled (one of them abscessed) back inApril. But the mouth is healing and I feel much better with them gone! Great dental care!

As a child, going to the dentist was a very negative and scary experience for me. It always included extreme pain, blood and many tense hours in the chair. So, coming to the dentist as an adult, to have a crown created, was a difficult appointment for me. However, Dr. John was very kind, thoughtful and clear about what was happening during the entire procedure. He even set a timer on the computer screen so I had a visual while I held a mold in my mouth for several minutes. He also continually asked how I was feeling and if I had any pain the entire hour he worked on my tooth. Visiting the dentist is a necessary part of adult life and I am so thankful that Dr. John Hume is my dentist!!!

Honestly the best dental experience Ive ever had. After walking in and filling out a short new patient intake form (only one page!), I was called back in less than a minute. My hygienist was very friendly and personable, and the dentist Scott Hume himself was very professional and helpful. Everyone was kind, laid back, and helped me know just what my insurance would cover. Ive been looking for a new dentist since mine retired a few years ago and Im very pleased. Highly recommend.

Dr. Hume has been my dentist for six years or so. Over the years, I have had many different dentists in a number of different states. Some very very, very good, some were not so good. Dr. Hume, however, is unquestionably the best dentist I have ever had, going all the way back to my childhood days. He is incredibly precise in his work, he is caring, has wonderful bedside manners, and it is obvious that he is in this line of work because he likes to help people. The work he has done for me over the years has been outstanding. His staff, too, are excellent: kind, pleasant, caring. If you are in the Bloomington, Illinoiis area, or even maybe a little outside the area, Dr. Hume is the one to go to with your teeth issues. If I could give him more than five stars, I would!
