I am editing my review from 2 stars to 1. I had a lovely conversation following my review with the practice manager and she seemed like she took the feedback to heart and was open to making the necessary changes to improve the patient experience. I have already switched dentists but my husband had not, because he had an upcoming appointment, although his experience had always been the same as mine— one reschedule after another. His appointment was set for tomorrow and he arranged his work schedule to be there. They called today to reschedule because the doctor won’t be in the office. Apparently my feedback had not changed any of their patient experience. He will also be leaving the practice to find a more reliable dentist.Original: I was a patient of the Dental group of bloomington for the past few years, but have decided to make a change. The cleanings have always positive and the staff has always been friendly- however, it seems to be mismanaged with with time and staff availability. Over the past few years, I have not had one appointment that has been kept at the original time and date. Every single cleaning has been rescheduled due to their staff availability and changes in schedule. When they have needed to reschedule, each time I am forced to wait a few weeks before their next available appointment. As a working parent, who travels often during the week for work , I make a commitment and make my schedule work around that commitment. It became too frustrating that they were always rescheduling, usually the week of, sometimes that day.

They definitely have your best interest in mind, will give you multiple options along with prices. worked me in very short notice and nice friendly

My first visit to The Dental Group of Bloomington all the employee’s were very polite. When doing my first exam here they explained every in great detail that was very understandable, if it wasn’t they took time till I understood. They made up detailed plan for all the dental work I was in need of with pricing for me and what the insurance was paying for my procedures. They are a very pleasant staff that works here to which I recommend them highly for all to make an appointment and see for there self. Been here for 2 visits and am satisfied totally. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I appreciate that all staff members take the time to communicate clearly and that they encourage you to ask questions to be sure you understand all procedures and policies.

Staff was extremely nice and very helpful. Dr. Jones was very nice and was able to explain my issue clearly in a way I could understand.

When I say this is the most seamless experience I have ever had at the dentist I mean it! I had previously been in limbo with a dentist after moving and insurances changing and I’m so glad that I found this one! I had chipped my front tooth, panicked I called this office. The accommodating woman up front helped me schedule an appointment for the very next day. She also walked me through all of the insurance info and new client paperwork needed. She was so kind and patient with me! I showed up to my appointment, was taken back, had x rays, and was seen with a plan of care in under 15 minutes!! This was pretty much the opposite of what I expected my first time at a new dentist office to be like! I expected my insurance to take a while to process and to reschedule a day to come back later in the coming weeks. Wrong again! I was offered to come back that very same day a couple hours later to have my tooth fixed. I cannot explain how painless and pleased I was with my entire experience here. As someone who experiences quite a bit of anxiety around appointments like these I cannot stress enough how happy I am that I chose the Dental Group of Bloomington.

If you got a problem with teeth implant go somewhere else because this lady mass up my teeth and ask for me to purchase one of her implants teeth and that is very wrong of here and I would never go black to this place at all and I wish I could gave her a 0 and that what she Did one this right and now costing me $1,200 thank you a lot for not fixingApply oh he did the on the side

Im a new patient and this was the most thorough dental exam and cleaning Ive ever had. The hygienist was amazing, kind, and attentive, and the dentist was very thorough and friendly.

The staff was very friendly. They were knowledgeable and very up front about costs and procedures. Glad they were recommended to me.

Great staff. Dental hygienist is awesome.

The doctor was nice. Was quoted via live chat before making the appointment for $79 for exam, cleaning, and x-rays. My husband went in for tooth pain, they did the exam and x-rays but never had a cleaning then charged us $230 for the x-ray. Why does the price change for the exam and x-rays after the service is completed???? Well, they said all of it was included but then we didn’t “qualify” for their payment plan option. Not happy. We have a baby on the way and can’t afford to be lied to such as these people did to us.

My hygienist was so thorough. She was informative and patient with high dental anxiety. I’ve never had such a great cleaning. I definitely recommend her. I will be going back.

Had to schedule care with a different dentist after an unpleasant back and forth with the receptionist regarding insurance (problem was on their end not mine.). They told me it was an emergency and still couldn’t get me in sooner than three weeks. A rather frustrating situation.

First time in the office and everyone was very polite, professional and mindful of Covid concerns. My first cleaning was very thorough. Dentist and hygienist explained each aspect of the process, including xrays and additional treatment options, very well.

One of my best experiences with a dental group from someone who travels coast to coast. Unfortunately as i travel things do happen such as breaking g a tooth and this group came thru with a last minute appointment on a Friday and not only did they give me informed options for the repair the were able to accomplish the procedure pain-free. I cant recommend the enough

This dentist is great. I’ve been going here since 2015 with no complaints. They’ve also been doing a great job making their office safe in light of COVID-19.

They are very aware of the fact that dentists give people anxiety so they try to make you as comfortable as possible. Dr. P is amazing. Everyone there is amazing. As always, the staff (Brent, Bethany and Dr. Ren especially) are professional without being stuffy, friendly without being condescending and very very patient.They always take the time to explain their procedures, and make the whole process as stress-free as they can...not an easy task with a jumpy, twitchy patient!So very pleased with my outcomes so far, and I highly recommend this team!

Going to the dentist has always made me slightly uncomfortable, but this is my first dental appointment that I 100% enjoyed. Denise, my hygienist, was amazing and so friendly and great to talk to. Dr. Ren was also very friendly and kind. Overall a wonderful place!

It was a regular cleaning. Staff greeted me when I arrived. Everyone was friendly. Everyone made my visit comfortable.Side note: its cold in there. I bring my own sweater or throw.

They brought out 3 papers to be filled out but no clipboard or anything hard to write on. The service inside was okay. Hygienist and dentist were both very nice.

The staff was professional and personable. My anxiety was eased when I walked in the door. My hygienist Denise was fabulous, gentle, thorough, and I could feel her experience. The Dr was so nice and made sure I understood the next steps. This is the first time I am excited about continuing my dental treatment.

I was blessed as they did my dentures no cost for my being a veteran and a tooth broke off dentures so they fixed it twice first time didn’t stay on .. very great place and I greatly appreciate them god bless

This place is a scam, they told me my insurance was covered. Got a bill from them and called them just for them to say my insurance isn’t covered. Their a scam artist company that tries to mess your teeth up even more by telling you need all this work done just to get money. Do not go to this place!!

This place is wonderful. The employees and the doctor are VERY nice and professional. I admit I got upset about something and called,they handled the situation very well. Although it’s super expensive they do good work. If you don’t have dental insurance they can usually work something out for you. I’m in the process of getting all of my cavities filled. They did put me and my family’s bill together on one invoice so I’m not having to make several different payments for all of us. Very friendly staff. A++

Went in to get my X-ray and exam for my teeth. Staff was fun, friendly and most importantly honest about what was going on. The dentist was kind and they were able to work with what I needed done financially. Recommend to first time patients. Will be going back!

This dental group changes dentists constantly. Ive has 4 (maybe 5?) different dentists here over a few years.Appointments made months in advance often have delays morning of and their staff frequently forgets to return phone calls.Should have changed dental groupw awhile ago, will finally be doing so for my next cleaning.

I went here to get a VERY small chip tooth fixed. I was there about an hour and a half and the actual fill only took about 5 minutes. I was charged about 400 dollars for a 5 minute procedure. Last time I got my tooth fixed for the same thing it only took about 30 minutes and 70 dollars. The place was overall very sketchy.

They are amazing. The entire staff is awesomeI cant wait for my next visit

Welcoming environment. Dental Hygeniest was very nice and communicated exactly what she was doing, why, and what it meant for the care I would receive. Dentist was great. Explained exactly where my dental health was and what needed to be done to improve it. Staff was very flexible in scheduling the follow up procedure and very transparent Im disclosing cost and what insurance would cover. Ive had a couple bad experiences with other local dentists and was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed every aspect of my visit here. Highly reccomend!

Had postponed this appointment for a month to have my initial impression taken for my implant. Nothing was ready and now I have to go back in two weeks which negates my postponing the visit in the first place. Staff as always was very nice but disappointed with them knowing I was coming in for implant work and had nothing ready.

Denise has been my hygenist for years now and I just love her. I am always comfortable and relaxed. I always feel like I receive excellent care by the Dr and staff! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Ive been a client since at least 2005 and have gone through at least 4 different dentists. Theyre usually late for appointments but yesterday was ridiculous and my final appointment there. My daughter and I had 3:30 pm and 4:10 pm dental cleanings respectively. I arrived at 3:20pm and asked if I could take my daughters spot if she didnt arrive on time. (Trying to teach her to be punctual) I was told it wouldnt be a problem. My daughter arrived at 3:35pm. I sat in the waiting room until 3:55pm. None of the staff said anything to me. Nothing about any delays or anything. They chatted with each other and sat there watching me watching them. After 35 minutes, I got up and left. Mind you, if I was 30 minutes late arriving for an appointment and didnt bother to call, Im quite sure Id be charged. They still hadnt called my daughter back for her 3:30 appt when I walked out at 3:55pm, so theres no way they would have called me for my 4:10pm appointment on time. I left work early to get there on time and I work an hour away. Id scheduled this appointment 6 months prior. When my daughter got home I asked her how long she waited. She said they called her at 4:15pm (45 minutes late) and told her sorry for her wait. I just think its unprofessional and communicates loud and clear they dont value my time or me as a client. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

WARNING!! Do not waste your time! The whole business is a scam. Not to brag, but I have pretty good teeth and dental hygiene. I was constantly being told I had cavities at every follow up. But it had also been a few years since I was seeing a dentist regularly so I trusted them. Stupid me... I came in for a filling scheduled for a left molar and when I was in the chair, they told me I was getting a filling on the right side. They couldnt even keep their lies straight! That was the last appointment I ever attended and they told me I needed to come back for 2 more fillings in a few weeks. I got a second opinion and was told there was absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth.Also, he is TERRIBLE with a needle. Cant get you numb for anything and I could literally hear him scratching my jaw with the syringe.AVOID

Im very disappointed..My appt was on the 18th of July. I get to my appt on time and sit down in the chair to find out that my original dentist is gone. But they convince me to go ahead and get the work done . I needed to have 2 crowns put in....They fitted me with 2 temps and inform me that everything good no need to get glue because they had bonded the small temp in the back of my mouth...I said ok , because im leaving on vacation next week ...So to make this short Im here at home in pain .I have called them several times . The first time was around 2 pm .whem the temp first fell out..He as in receptionists told me he will have someone call me to see when they can get me in.. I was like this is a emergency ..tooth is expose. So around 4:20pm I called back..I speak with a lady..She tells me doc is busy..again this is a emergency..she gets back on the phone can you come at 2pm...I say no...I work..its a emergency I cant get in when you open are come in now...Sorry then she tells me maybe we can get you in with the doc next door on Wed..I say wow...I then say im a gonna have to pay him to get another temp..She says you dont have the temp with you I say ..yes but its got a hole in it. well let me connect you with billing.So no one called me back;(
