Hands down the best place! All of the stylists are amazing! All are so educated in different styles and know what works for the client! I like that you never have to just stick with one... Theyre all amazing!!! I moved out of state and cant find a place that holds a candle to here. Seriously thinking about taking a 500 mile trip just to get my haircut by these girls!

I visited Hair Techniques after a friend posted a picture of her recent cut and color that she had had done there. Ashley answered the phone and was very friendly and professional. I was able to get an appointment the following week.At my appointment time, Ashley was very welcoming and professional. I had my hair shampooed which included a very relaxing scalp and neck massage—a fun surprise! She used products that were formulated for my hair color and type.She asked clarifying questions to ensure she understood what I was wanting. I liked that she asked specific questions, not vague ones. After my hair was cut, she asked how she could style it. She dried and styled it then showed the back to me to make sure I was happy with it.This was a great first experience and they left a positive first impression. I will definitely be back and I highly recommended you giving them a try!

Great prices, atmosphere, location, and staff! Ashley cut and colored my hair and I love it! I wanted a fun color so I went from medium brown to dark violet and it turned out perfect. The cut was just what I wanted.

Casey the receptionist is the best. She makes sure that you have been taken care of. This is hands down the best salon in Bloomington.

Ive been seeing Shanna at Hair Techniques for about 2 years now. She came recommended to me because at the time I had an angled bob and was told she cut the straightest angles in the MidWest ha ha! I went to her once and was smitten. Ive been seeing her every 6 weeks since. She and the entire staff are super friendly and do a great job. I always leave happy and she gives amazing product recommendations! :)

This place is great. I gave 4 stars because of the price. Its very expensive. But the girl I had GLENDA , she squeezed me in when I showed up without an appointment last minute. Got me in, in 10 minutes and gave me the best hair cut Ive ever had. Lots of beautiful layers, when she was done my whole face looked better. I will emphasize on how expensive it is though. It really is pricey.

Went in for an eyebrow wax and asked the stylist to not take away thickness and to maintain the arch (I just wanted to clean them up before spring break.) Now, my eyebrows are the thinnest they have ever been and not even the same. She didnt clean off the excess wax and barely talked to me the whole time. The setting wasnt warm, with fluorescent lighting and no music. However, the staff were friendly and my eyebrows do look clean. Overall, dissatisfied.

I first got my hair done here by Ashley a few months back. This is only the 2nd hair salon Ive been to and I was kind of nervous about going to a new place, but it was the best hair experience Ive ever had. Super great atmosphere and Ashley fixed my ugly, box-dyed blonde hair. Im going back to her today and Im ready for her to work her magic. Staff here is amazingly nice and scheduling was a breeze. Ill recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I even got my friend to drive down from Greenwood to get her hair done here and she was thrilled with it.
