My daughter broke her arm this summer and DR Ridley at TCO was absolutely amazing with her and all the staff on his team. We never had to wait long to be seen and they always made sure to make her feel comfortable thru all her cast, X-rays, and surgery!

It was a very short wait to be seen at the Blaine urgent care. The PA I saw was well informed and very compassionate. He explained my issues, gave an overview of possible treatments, and helped me deal with the current pain. His care was outstanding and my overall experience was wonderful.

I have several visits with Dr. Barry for my knee and now elbow before this Blaine location was even built. My wife saw Dr. Crowe who did her back surgery 15+ years back. We both got good results however our experiences while in the office were totally opposite. I find Dr. Barry to take his time to listen to my concerns, evaluate my condition, offer suggestions, and come up with a treatment plan together. Aside from being a great doctor, he is a kind person. I am sure different patients have different needs. However for my needs, Dr. Barry is at the top of my list.

Was not a good visit. Waited 2 hours for emergency clinic. Received an injection in my knee that ultimately sent me to the emergency room because of the pain. Would not recommend seeing the doctor for the emergency clinic. I should have waited 2 weeks to see my normal TCO doctor, because in the 8 years of having my injection, I have never had this problem.

I knew my knee was bad due to osteoarthritis, RA, and work. Started having acute pain on Tuesday, went in to the Urgent Care Friday- yup- bone spurs, no cartilage and debris. Got a cortisone shot, a couple days off from work and an appt with a doc in 2 weeks. Front desk was great, x-ray tech was great, PA-C was great and spoke to me on my level. Great experience.

This place is great! Ive had a few different procedures done over my life at different places but having tendon surgery on my ankle here was by far one of the easiest Ive been through. Dr Barry and Dr Becky and there team did such a good job of giving me all of the information I needed, putting me at ease and making my visit and procedure as smooth and comfortable as possible. I hope I dont need any more work done of course but if I have any other orthopedic problems I will definitely be scheduling at one of their locations again.

Depends on the doctor here. Some of them straight up fabricate their care notes. I broke my hand in July and was referred to TCO. Dr Holmberg came into the room for about 3 minutes, just long enough to tell me that we will isolate and immobilize via a cast. The cast girl took it from there. The man barely glanced at my hand, but I shrugged it off since hes a doctor and he had my xrays. I was a little surprised they didnt have to move anything because my knuckle was not in place, but I was grateful to keep it still. Fast forward 4 weeks, I get my cast swapped for a brace. My hand looks gnarly so I cant really tell if my knuckle is still off, but a few days later I was able to move my hand enough to tell it was still wrong. I messaged Dr Holmberg, who had a member of his care team call me to tell me Its like that from being immobilized. I tried to explain that it was like that before the cast, but he basically said this is what I was told to tell you so is that okay? WHATEVER. 2 more weeks pass and that knuckles not moving. I send another message to Dr Holmberg and now the care team calls me to ask that I come back in. I read over the notes Dr Holmberg had logged from our visits. He had stated in his notes that I received HANDOUTS about my injury when I never left that office with a piece of paper. Stated that he explained TREATMENT OPTIONS IN DETAIL when only one option was presented to me at any point. He also had note that exercises were demonstrated for me when I got the brace, which was an outright lie. I called an made an appointment with another hand specialist who was kind enough to tell me my knuckle would be depressed forever because the break essentially shortened the bone by a tiny bit. Dr Johnson couldnt explain why I would have been told it was from being immobilized or why I was only being told about this now.

Came here with a partially torn Achilles tendon. Dr Sager didnt do an MRI like he should have to see the extent of the damage. Made it difficult to do physical therapy at first. He also did not prescribe any pain medicine, and with further digging I found he doesnt believe in it and it goes against his religion. Why religion is mixed into medicine, I dont know. Just hope you dont have sager if you come here. Physical therapy likes to cancel appointments on a whim so overall just go to a different location or practice altogether. Youll get better treatment from an Alina urgent care than here and thats saying something.

I went in with shoulder pain to meet with a doctor recommended to me - he gave me a cortisone shot and felt better within an hour - so good that I felt no pain at all the next morning. 24 hours later, all the pain was back. Due to the pain coming back, I went in for an MRI and they found strained tendons. From there, I went to Physical Therapy (loved the therapists - they are great) for 10 sessions which ended up costing me a lot of money for no relief nor improvement. I got the bill and stopped immediately due to the cost.Fast forward a few months and my friend went in for similar symptoms and was given an MRI with contract because that doctor never does shoulders without contract because of everything going on in there - so I called the patient advocate line to determine if there was anything I could do. A month goes by (I had to call back in multiple times) to find that they had sent me to billing and was told Your bill is fine, theres nothing I can do.My case was transferred to another rep who said they would follow up as soon as possible which turned out to be 3 weeks. After further follow up with a different doctor, they offered me nothing other than Sorry, we werent able to meet your needs.I highly recommend avoiding TCO.Based upon my experience, I feel they were only after money and did little to no follow up - only the times I reached out or, if they did, it was weeks after they said they would.Update: As a follow up, youll see that TCO responded but I already tried working with their Patient Advocate who simply said there was nothing they could do...and apparently TCO doesnt read their reviews or records, they just try to save face on poor service. Additionally, I checked in with my friend who (laughingly or sadly, depending on your point of view) had the same experience as me and went to a different provider as well. After comparing notes with him, we both had the same experience with doctors who didnt take the time to go through options - both of us had our MRI results read to us with techs versus the doctor taking a few minutes out of his day to go through results - we both had questions about what the notes said but the tech could not answer. Without discussing with each other, we both went to Summit Orthopedics and spent 15 minutes with a doctor going over the same MRI, laid out a plan and felt much better about our steps to recovery.

I went to Twin cities orthopedic based on the great care my wife had about a year ago. I saw Dr. Garry Banks who is very thorough and professional, not only did he take the time to listen to me he explained in detail what my problem was and how it was causing my symptoms. It was obvious he had taken the time to read my test results prior to my appointment and even took additional x-rays to confirm his findings while I was there. This is a great clinic with great staff and doctors.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is undoubtedly, one of the best if not the best medical facility and service I have encountered in my life time. From the moment I walked in the door at the walk in clinic the front desk was patient, helpful beyond my expectations. They even had a pair of readers for me, as I left my glasses at home ( most likely due to my pain and distress). They offered a beverage and came to me with additional questions. Then off to see Cole the PA who took X Rays and sent me for a MRI. Suburban imaging saw me a hour later (amazing as well). The office staff had me scheduled the next day with Dr. Paul Diekmann.Oh... Dr. Diekmann is a fantastic guy, great bedside manner, excellent patient care. His scheduling staff had me in a suite the next Wednesday.I am so happy this afternoon. Very little pain, surgery went very well as far as Im concerned. I feel far better then I did before I went in to surgery. Im walking with no pain or knee buckling. Swelling is minimal...Great work and well done to the TWIN CITIES ORTHOPEDICS TEAM.

I wouldn’t recommend going here. My grandmother waited for Dr. Sager for over an hour in the exam room, only to have Sager come for 3 minutes to tell her she needed to go elsewhere for treatment. He told us Mary would get us from the lobby in a couple minutes. Well, a couple minutes turned into about 30 minutes. I had to go up to the receptionist 2 times before we could finally see Mary for a few seconds to schedule an appointment. Even though the TV said that the delay time was 0 minutes, that was clearly false as many patients were waiting for quite some time.

Very nice new facility. I was there today for a follow up on my knee, which hasnt improved since a cortisone shot about 6 weeks ago. There were 3 people available for checking in, and I got checked in and seen by Dr Norgard right on time. It was a quick exam where he recommended an MRI. I was happy enough to be able to schedule the MRI appointment before leaving, but while the woman was checking on availability, she found that they could get me in at Suburban Imaging just downstairs in about 30 minutes. VERY convenient.I was able to get my exam, MRI referral, and complete the MRI in under 75 minutes. Cant ask for much better than that!

Dr. Paul R. Diekmann, M.D. of Twin Cities Orthopedics took on a hard task of redoing my right hip and stem for the third time. He and his team worked for over 71/2 hours to make good on his promise to do all he could. Professional and caring; a sterling testimony to his profession. TCO was there for the pre and post appointments and all went solid and good. They made sure information was always provided and understood.A high class operation...Dr. Diekmann I could not recommend more highly.

Cannot recommend! Would never go there again. We recently visited the facility and had Dr. Norgard as our Physician. We went to the facility for care of our daughter who was unable to walk or bear any weight on her leg, Dr Norgard completely ignored the issue with her leg and was dismissive of the situation and focused on her disability which had nothing to do with her situation with her leg. In the end he did nothing to help our daughter and just told us to get an appointment with Gilletes to get her care for her disability, completely ignoring that we were already working with Gillete for her core condition and we were at his office for the issue with her leg. We ended going to a different location to get a diagnosis and treatment where they performed X-Rays and required testing to help our daughter with her leg, turns out she did have an injury that required treatment. The treatment received at TCO was horrible and we will not go back and I cant recommend anyone going there, at least not to see Dr. Norgard, as a parent with a child with an issue the last thing I want is a dismissive doctor that looks at me with a what are you doing here face and doesnt even bother to do basic tests to rule out injuries...

I took a good friend of mine to TCO today, and he saw Dr Roger Sayer. This man isnt fit to be a doctor. He has the bedside manner of a rattlesnake. My friends knee was so swollen and he was in such pain he couldnt walk without crutches. I explained that both my friend and I had been up all hours of the night, for days icing his knee due to the swelling and pain. When I asked Sayer if my friend could have some pain relief medication, he replied, he didnt give pain meds, and that he was Christian and above board. What Dr have you ever encountered brings up his faith? Bringing his religion into the conversation was completely out of line. He then became aggravated by my friend inquiring about different situations with the swelling of his knee, my friend said obviously you dont like answering questions, Sayer agreeing. Say what???? I couldnt believe it. This wasnt the first time he saw my friend, and when my friend called to see if he could move up his appt from Thursday, the 29th, he was told no and to go back where he had been before TCO. Never mentioning the location was also an urgent care. My friend was seen at the ER before TCO. So, instead of saving him money, and pain and suffering, he, by not telling my friend it was also an urgent care gives you an idea what kind of quack this Dr is. The last straw was when he looked my friend in the face and said, Im not your guy *****, calling his name instead of lets say, Dan, instead he called him Danny, as if he was a child. Sayer was so condesenting, and rude, I was taken back. After that remark, I was done. I put my coat on, told him Id never seen a Dr so unprofessional in my life, and I was going to make sure people knew about his behavior. I posted a review on the TCO website as I said I would, but oddly enough couldnt find it posted....???? If this scenario sounds like something that would comfort you, soothe you, help you, or benefit you, then by all means, visit TCO and Dr Sayer. If not, avoid this place like the plague. Disgusting, shameful and unwarranted negativity that this man displayed, he should be investigated. How is he still practicing? All over the metro area? From Crystal to Blaine, in Unity & Mercy Hospitals. Dr. Sayer, you should be ashamed of your words and behavior. Had I been the patient, I would have left, and reported you to the Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, and anyone else that would listen. The worst orthopedic doctor ever. Period.
