All the Staff and Dr. Jill M. were So Very Caring and very Informative. They made sure I understood what was expected with the eyelid lift procedure and made sure I was comfortable. After the surgery, I was well informed about the care of my eye lids as well as my Spouse and was given an Instruction Care Sheet with Emergency Contact phone numbers to call anytime 24/7. The day after the surgery on Saturday, I had received a follow up call from Minnesota Eye Consultant s to see how I was doing. Definitely I would recommend any corrective Eye procedure to Family and Friends at Minnesota Eye Consultants in a heartbeat. 😍

Highly recommend. Staff is very caring and thorough. Dr. Fogal takes time at the appointments to answer any questions. Ive also never had to wait past my appointment time. Facility is very clean, and the equipment is sanitized after its been used so it is ready for the next patient.

Dr. Hansen and his team at Minnesota Eye Consultants is not at all responsible for patient concerns and are impossible to contact. It has been 2 months where I have not been able to get a simple request. The place does not have time for you. I would avoid at all costs

They are very professional and fast. However if you are looking to have more of a personal relationship with your eye doctor to really build that relationship with Dr.Boot is not that doctor. She was very nice but I spent more time connecting and building a client relationship with the technician who brought me to the back than i did with doctor boot. If my insurance would let me I’d definitely go back to Pearl Vision. Friendly doctor but could be less like she wanted to leave the room ASAP and start working on building relationship and keeping clients.

Had cataract surgery in both eyes thru them. Results were amazing, The procedure was easy, they made me feel comfortable throughout the whole thing each time. The follow up with staff checking me out was great. a professional job was done by the entire staff.

They are competent and very efficient in moving patients through the clinic at the time of their appointment. My wait times have always been very short. The staff are very professional. The actual doctor visits, however, always feel a bit rushed, raising some doubts about whether or not the most careful consideration was made in deciding a course of treatment. A lot of these treatments appear to be at the leading edge in the field, but I have to ask for detailed information (like success rates, numbers treated, etc.) to get a sense for how effective the treatments are. It is not readily offered and should be. This is the reason I have not given a higher rating.

The staff is great! However, I did not appreciate having to wait 45 min. 15 I dont mind, but 45 is excessive.

Over the past 5 months Ive been treated at this clinic for cataracts and drooping eyelids. Surgery on both eyes. My husband also had cataract surgery on both eyes. The doctors and staff (especially all those associated with my surgeries - check-in staff, nurses, anesthesiologists) were great! I felt well taken care of, and the quality of the surgeons work has been high. The front desk staff also get high marks - always friendly and efficient. Thank you!

After taking measurements, Dr. Melicher explained that surgery was an option if I wanted it. y She explained the surgery in detail. The more I asked, the more she explained.There was a scheduling issue in the way the surgery was described to my insurance, which wouldve pushed back my date and cost me more than $1,000. Dr. Melicher waived the issue, ate the cost, and got me in!The entire surgical team was outstanding. I felt completely relaxed. At some point, during the surgery, the CRNA woke me, and Dr. Melicher was there calmly giving me instructions so she could get my eyelids balanced. That was a surreal moment being awakened like that! I was put back under, she finished up, and I went home without any pain.I followed the post-op instructions, and I have NO SCARS! Youd never know I had corrective surgery. My eyelids are perfectly balanced, and best of all, Im not wary of taking pictures with my family anymore. Thank you, Dr. Melicher! You gave me confidence!

After dealing with 4 other doctors who couldnt help us with our sons clogged tear duct happening after COVID-19, Minnesota Eye Consultants actually took everything seriously and actually had answers for us. They took us seriously when we told them this issue occured after our son had COVID which led to pink eye which led to scar tissue in the tear ducts.The doctor also had a strong treatment plan which will hopefully help get our little guy back to normal after dealing with this issue for a year

Weve been getting our annual eye exams from Dr. Fogal for years. Hes kind and considerate, very thorough, a great listener, and very patient with our questions. Minnesota Eye has other locations more convenient for us, but we go to the Blaine office for Dr. Fogal. He is a five-star provider without question.

I had cataract surgery. From beginning to end it was a great experience. Dr. Hanson was amazing. He has a way of putting you at ease. He even calls in the evening making sure all is well. Who does that anymore??? I would highly recommend minn eye consult to anyone.

My first appointment seeing Dr. Sherman Reeves and staff. I would say they did a great job examining my eyes. Letting me know my problem. Explaining the steps of surgery, I am hoping for great results. As we all should.

In the past, I have been given a lighter dosage of the dilation drops because I have lighter colored eyes. That seemed to work out for the doctors tests and me because I was back to normal vision within a couple of hours. I requested the same lighter dosage but apparently my request was ignored because my eyes didnt return to normal for at least 6 hours after the appointment. Very disappointed in how that particular piece of the procedure went.

Efficient, knowledgable,courteous,. Eyes dilated and forgot my sunglasses and didnt ask for those plastic shades so drive home was difficult. Told I could get in for surgery in 3 weeks which I thought was great.

Dr Melichier was great about explaining the procedure beforehand and all the staff were great in pre and post op.

I brought my mother in for a consultation. The front desk staff was great! Doctor was great! Assistant that brought my mother back to perform tests was not so great!! As POA I was able to be in the room thru out my mothers tests and the lady that did the testing was very unpleasant. She made my mother feel as if she was a inconvenience to her because my mother kept asking questions. And she seemed to be annoyed that my mother wasnt following directions correctly. You try to follow directions when you have dementia! My 89yr old mother was very upset when we left and so was I. If I have to bring my mother back...how do I make sure we do not have this same assistant again? Sorry...I do not know her name!

Everyone was great! From the check-in to the exams and Dr Hansen, what a great group of people.

Do not get refractive surgery, it will be the biggest mistake of your life. You will damage your cornea forever and have dry eyes and poor night vision and there is no going back. Dont believe anything they tell you because once they are done with you you are on your own. Please believe me.

Checked in for my eye appointment and reviewed the COVID-19 protocol. Shortly after I moved to begin my eye exam. The staff was professional and thorough with my exam, along with the communication. Dr. Fogal was professional and engaging in communication. So very pleased with my experience.

I have been dealing with this office for over four years. My eyes needed an expert and I was referred to Patrick Reidel for his expertise with glaucoma. I am a frequent traveler there. The staff is friendly, yet professional. I have had several surgeries and multiple treatments to keep my eye sight. I have been very comfortable with the advice given and treatment for my problems. This is no game for me and I want the best help I can find and feel that I am in that place.

The office personnel, the nurses, and the doctors all have been extremely professional and organized. I always feel Im getting a great exam. And, if I have an 8:45a.m. appointment, I am being looked at within minutes of my arrival. I was in the Blaine office today and came home feeling very satisfied with the outcome. The nurse lead me through the tests very knowingly, and the doctor took time to explain in detail the plan that we will follow for my situation. Everyone was aware of the Coved guidelines, i.e. masks, distancing as best you could. The message was well received...

Minnesota Eye Consultants is a wonderful place to have anything done with your eyes. They’re professional and expertise goes above and beyond. When I came in and met the staff and talked about what was the best procedure for me, the staff made me feel comfortable and I wasn’t nervous to have surgery done. I had a Natural Lens Replacement. Any questions I had they would explain it in detail. After my surgery I could see the next day! I could not see far distance before, now I can! Why I decided to go to MEC because of other reviews, and they were close to where I live. Dr. Reeves, Dr. Fogle, Rita, Jenna, Amanda, Deb, and the rest of you ( sorry I cannot remember everyone’s name) I thank you so much! All of you are so fun and so nice and caring! Dr. Fogel was wonderful. The receptionist was great. It took me 3 weeks to get in because I wouldnt sit on hold for longer than 10 minutes. I decided to wait it out this time and I sat on hold 34 MINUTES !! I was hung up on twice before I started timing my call.. The girl that took me back needed an attitude adjustment. I gave them a 3 because of how hard it was to get in and the girl that took me back.

Dr. Lindstrom is the best! He first performed RK surgery in 1986 while he was at the U of M. This is before the lasik surgery. My vision was great until my mid-forties—thanks to getting older. Last year, he performed the PRK surgery with good results. I opted for better. A few weeks ago,, he did the enhancement. What a great Christmas present!! My vision is sharp and clear. The staff has been wonderful as well as the other physicians over the last year.

Professional staff but wait time was long. I was there for a total of an hour and met with the Dr for 10 mins to go over results.

They were attentive and respectful. Listened to what I had to say. Explained everything throughly.

As always, a friendly greeting at the reception desk, promptly called for my appointment, very nice young gentleman tech (wish I remembered his name) that really put me at ease thru the Field of Vision test and both the other tech and Dr. Riedel for a thorough testing and wishing me well as I left.

I had my second cataract procedure done at the Bloomington site. I would give Dr. Samuelson 5 stars for the skilled work he did removing my cataract and for his kindness and communication. I also thought the team of nurses who worked with me were excellent. I have to mention specifically Connie Gonser who was my nurse in recovery. The reason for two stars not being filled in is due to the dreadful experience I had with the anesthesia I was given. It made me very sick, dizzy and I had hallucinations. While all of this was going on Connie stuck with me supporting me and even called to check on me when I returned home. She went the extra mile just when I needed that level of care.I do believe that if I were to go in for the same procedure again I would not go through the hell I did this time because my record does indicate what works best for me. I think the anesthesiologist would read that record ahead of time and would be better prepared to meet my particular needs.
