Our Mother, who sadly suffered a severe stroke in a year ago, is now comfortably adjusting to her apartment and Caregivers (24hr) at White Pine since moving in 3 months ago. Our Father resides in their home just a few blocks away visits her daily from breakfast to bedtime. The large outdoor covered porch areas are filled with furniture, colorful cushions, pillows, and beautiful flowers making a perfect place to relax and visit with family and friends. Also, the outside areas around the complex are enjoyable for short or long walks on nice days which we do often with her. She enjoys her meals and has made many new friends including residents and staff. The activity director, Pam (who wears many hats) always has something fun going on for residents. A recent Luau was a big hit. The staff has been caring, patient and compassionate with our Mother, Father and entire family.

My siblings and I were made aware of White Pine by a family member who worked there and loved it. Since we were just starting to look for an assisted living facility for our mother, we went to check it out. Our mother loved how the facility looked from the moment she laid eyes on it, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming, we didnt need to look further, she couldnt wait to move in. She loves the staff there, especially Pam, the Activities Director, and Andy, the Cook. We could not have asked for more kind, patient, and caring staff to take care of her. Maureen, the house manager, keeps us up to date with any changes, even little changes, that may affect our mother within the facility, and she answers any questions we may have; the nurses, Mel and Sam, keep us apprised of any changes or concerns regarding our mothers health and they listen to our concerns; and all staff make our mother feel respected and appreciated every time she interacts with them (bless them for listening to her stories and jokes over and over and never letting on that they have heard them numerous times already). Our mother loves her home and friends at White Pine Assisted Living.

My mother, Gigi, was a resident at White Pine in Fridley for about six months. The house manager Anne is a wonderful and caring individual. Her staff of nurses and aides are absolutely wonderful. They loved my mother so much and the feeling was completely mutual. My mother adored every soul that worked there, and they would often share I LOVE YOUs with my mom on a daily basis. I am so comforted knowing my mom was with these loving caretakers until she passed on. I cannot say enough about how hard these women work and the love and devotion they showed my precious mother. My mother’s happiness is evident in this picture I took of her at White Pine.❤️❤️❤️

My husband and I became very familiar with White Pines when our dad became a resident there. White Pines facility is a very clean, well kept and up to date . The staff we came across and had the pleasure of knowing would do just about anything for the families and care that was being administered. Dad was very Blessed to have these people take such good care of him and we know dad had a deep love for them and their kindness. We hold all of them with our greatest respect!! Thank you White Pines for all the care you gave to dad. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I just wanted to reach out this morning and say THANK YOU!!I am so incredibly thankful for all the time and care your staff has taken to make my mother-in-law feel welcome, cared for and safe.Anytime I’ve called or emailed with a request you have responded quickly, you have been ten steps ahead of me most of the time and it is so much fun to see her thriving. From the staff, the therapists onsite, the doctors and specialists that you bring in for appointments, to her haircuts and nail care along with the many activities ranging from devotions, church, crafts, musical entertainment and I’m sure more to come in the next year!I cannot think of a better place for her to be! It makes my heart happy and brings me so much comfort to know she is well taken care of.You’ve done an amazing job thru the worst of times. You should be proud of yourselves and your staff!

My mom really liked living at Blaine White Pine. The staff was wonderful to her and she considered them her friends. She especially loved all the fun and unique things the activities director would come up with for special events, occasions and holidays. I felt a sense of relief after moving her there because she was taken care of so well.

They make sure each need are very personal. The food is wonderful all the time. The activities that are done with the residents are creative, fun and everyone enjoys coming together as a family community. I would highly recommend White Pine.

We appreciate the care our father Louis Klitzke has received from the nursing and staff at the Blaine White Pine Advanced Assisted Living facility. Our dad can be a bit argumentative when receiving care, to say it mildly. The nursing and staff have been able to be both directive and playful which effectively engage Lou. Melanie Degree, Mandi Lippstrew, Amanda Ryan, Samantha Walker, Stacy Watson, and others have compassionately and effectively cared for our father. We sincerely thank you all.

I cannot say enough about my moms experience at White Pine. She loves it there. I had a niece that worked there years ago and she loved working there so to me that was a good sign when it was time to look for moms assisted living space. When we toured the facility we were very impressed. Friendly staff and clean living areas. Perfect size rooms for mom to keep her independence yet still have someone checking on her to make sure she is safe. My mom loves the group dining area to socialize in as she is a very social person. And they have so many activities for the residents. Including church services. Pam, the activities director is awesome, she has so many fun things for them to do to help keep them as physically and mentally fit as they can for their age. And other activities like bingo and Farko. Mom loves to play those games. Pam is so patient and caring with them. Mom sees her as a dear friend. And then there is Andy who is the cook. Mom is always telling us how Andy came to help her do this or that. Little things like pouring a gallon jug of water into a smaller container . He is the cook and has no reason to be helping her like that ,but he does, and he does it with a smile on his face. She loves Andy , thats for sure . And the nurses Mel and Sam that take care of mom are always willing to discuss any concerns we have with mom. They keep us up to date with any changes that she has going on. My siblings and I feel we could not have picked a more awesome place for mom to live out the rest of her life. She has been there 5 1/2 years now and has loved every day of it. She has never had a problem with any of the staff. They are all wonderful to her. She sees White Pine as her home and sees the staff as her friends . To me that says alot. Very happy with moms White Pine experience . Keep up the good work. All of you.

We were so pleased when we found WP for my mom. She was a very special person, and deserved a special place to live. The staff was always kind and professional. I live in Delaware, so it was a comfort to know she was safe. Pam, the social director, stands out. She was always there for my mom, as she is for every resident at WP. She just seems to know what they need to keep them active and feel at home. Pam was always available to me when I needed assistance, whether it meant fixing my mom’s phone so we could have our nightly calls or sending a photo of a special day. I truly do not know what I would have done without her. And I know she goes out of her way to see that each resident at WP feels special. My mom passed away in September, but Pam will always be in my heart for her loving kindness to my mom. Cheri Belluzzo

We are particular in the care of our mother and work with White Pines staff as a team. All of the staff including care aids, nurses, kitchen staff, med aids and housekeeping work very hard to care for residents. The activity director does a great job connecting residents to family, the community and spiritual support and also hosts fun activities and parties.

From the moment that I called to get an appointment, Taylor and her entire staff have been extremely considerate, caring, professional, and helpful. Transitioning into assisted living can be a very traumatic experience wrought with a HUGE amount of emotions for the entire family. Taylor and the entire staff have continued to exemplify understanding, consideration, and professionalism in every contact with both myself and my mother. I would highly recommend White Pine Advanced Assisted Living. It has been the best decision that Ive made and I trust their ability to care for my mother.

Unprofessional and uncaring: that is the way my family would describe the care our loved one received at the memory care facility. Our experience was that the attending staff were inattentive, and inadequately trained and supervised. Example: we found staff sleeping in the common area more than once. Special and important medical needs were not consistently attended to. Our loved one experienced weight loss which we attribute to a lack of attention by staff in the dining room. The facility, though fairly new, had various items in need of repair which were only repaired once we repeatedly complained. I could go on and on. We addressed our concerns with staff and management a number of times with spotty results and no follow-up. Within two weeks of admission, we began looking for other facilities, and moved our loved one out 30 days after admission. Once relocated, we notified White Pine that we felt we were due a refund as promised in their “Satisfaction Guarantee”, as promoted in our admission materials. After more than a month process, we were provided with no refund for reasons which we find bogus. Since moving our loved one to a different companys facility, the experience has been 100% better. We recommend you find facilities other than White Pine to receive quality care.

Smaller facility with a family like atmosphere. My father has been there almost 1.5 years and is doing well. We moved him from a larger facility that had a number of issues that was not properly addressed. White Pine is a fine place. I can tell by the other people living there who over all seem happy. The staff all know my father and seem truly interested in how he is doing and like him as well. It is all about the people of course and they have good people.

I am so grateful for the empathy and sensitivity that Mandi at White Pine Blaine has shown to me as my family navigated through the difficultly of my Dads move and how responsive she has been to my questions around his care needs. I appreciate her desire to chat with my Dad on any ol day and make him feel special......just like any daughter would want her Dad to feel.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at White Pine of Blaine for 1 1/2 years. It has been a great experience for her. The staff is very caring and they make her feel very special. The food is great. She is quite particular so could be very critical at times but she loves the meals. Her apartment is very comfortable. She loves the outdoor sitting areas when the weather is nice. She has made many friends and enjoys the company. The activity director is also excellent. She plans lots of fun events.

This facility had poor care of our memory care family member. Fromallowing our family member ( who was incontinent) to remain wetfor long periods of time. So much so that we came one day and foundher wet through depends to saturate her entire outerwear and couch. Then when we moved her her pillow top mattress was stained all the way through to her box spring. Even though we brought rubberized pads to use for her. Which they obliviously didnt use. We also witnessed pills being given to her in her hand that fell all over her shirt and floor. Management did not provide good supervision of staff as well, leading to many visits of them sitting in gathering space not attending or checking on clients. Needless to say we dont recommend this care place. for your loved one. When addressing these issues the company tried to say these were isolated incidents. Really people!!!

If you love your relatives do not send them here. These guys talk a big game about compassion but at the end of the day they are a business. And all they care about is the bottom line. My sister broke her leg while was there in the fracture was so severe she had to have surgery and rehab for three months. I ended up getting called over there on the day of the injury because my sister had called the police because of the severe amount of pain that she had been in. Turns out shed gone 5 hours with only two aspirin to treat the pain at the time that I had shown up. Then I had to personally take her to the Orthopedic Urgent Care to get the leg x-rayed. Then in a move that really proved what a business they are they evicted my sister while she was in the hospital getting treated for her broken leg. I wish I could give them zero stars. The nurses were pretty good but the head of nursing Markie should have her license revoked if she has one. I cant imagine many nursing school that she would have been smart enough to get accepted into to be honest Again zero compassion from her in addition to low intelligence. Also disappointed with the manager Linda Rogers. She started out like she really cared but when the chips were down she quickly became corporate Linda.

AVOID! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. I worked there for only two weeks and the management was extremely horrible. On a daily basis I witnessed management , RNs and the LPN disrespect their workers verbally, consistently. They would scream at the workers in front of the residents and other staff. I had the last straw when I was approached by a screaming manager who told me when I tell you something the answer has to be yes she did this in front of other workers and residents eating dinner. I did not work one shift where I wasnt talked to at least twice by management or nursing in a disrespectful manner They have insane rules and have no idea what they are doing. Staff dont get proper breaks. The only good manager there was the hiring/scheduling manager, he was very respectful. I suggest if you want to keep good employees maybe learn how to talk to them in a respectful manner, we are grown adults not your doormats. Heads up you might not be as lucky in the future cause not everyone will be mature enough to walk away quietly when being disrespected to that extent.

The nurses and the managers are tirrible. I was always dependable for these people, I could be driving down the street and they call me I will always help them out. whenever the medications are not available in the cart or med storage closet, they waited like 3 months to give you paper to sign saying they’re med errors. You won’t even remember anything. That place is really going to hell like that resident rightfully said. They not even train those new people, they don’t know what there doing. For instance, they don’t know how to switch out a catheter, nor change someone linen while they’re still in bed.

Before the week end they advertising on indeed caregiver position. God have a way of doing things, what goes around comes back around.
