Nice mall!

After 5pm there isnt much open and all the store anchors aside from Sears (its days are probably numbered) have no interior doors.Aside from the medical clinics and VA, this is a dead mall. There is a movie theater, but it never seems to be packed.Take pictures of the hallways because its very aesthetic, if youre into vaporwave art.

Not really a place to go and look around. If you are coming here, be sure to look which businesses you plan to go to before hand, because there isnt much there. Nice quiet mall though if you want to look around. They also have the mona lisa here!

Gateway Fashion Mall? What’s fashionable about empty spaces? Is this a new trend I’m unfamiliar with? I mean it could be lol. But seriously I don’t think it is.However, there are a few delightful shops I return to time and again that make my heart burst with joy. I just wish they weren’t in this “Fashion Mall”.

The owner might as well sell it to the clinic. He put in all the money to make the inside look great while the buildings are empty and the parking lot is a game of risk. The movie theater smells like it hasnt been cleaned since the first day they opened. I wouldnt waste my time or the risk of damaging my car for anything in that mall at this moment. That mall would have to be at least 90% operational before id risk it and Im talking about more then just the tables in the walk path

Mall is always very cleanly and has a decent amount of local shops and food vendors to support.

I think it is an appropriate time now that the AMC is shut down to critique this mall.Since as long as I can remember, this mall has always played second fiddle to Kirkwood Mall. The only reason why Id ever go to this mall was Conlins (which has since moved down on Broadway), and very rarely AMC (which is shut down now).The interior of the mall is outdated and empty. Most of the stores inside the mall are either locally owned or completely empty. When I went inside in February 2020, the mall looked like it was straight out of 1985.AMC, Sears and basically any other store worth going to in Gateway Mall is gone. The only stores in there have competition or outdated or just flat out terrible. The only place Id ever consider going to at the Gateway Mall is Planet Fitness, even though you can just go to the YMCA or the Wellness Center in Mandan.Malls are an outdated relic of the past, and I think it shows in Gateway Mall. Its probably sad to people that have experienced Gateway Mall as a child, and grew to fall in love with the place, but honestly I never really cared about it in the first place.Im not sure what someone will do to this place, but I dont think Gateway Mall will last for another 5 years. Its unfortunate, but malls in general are on their way out (except for the Mall of America they have roller coasters)EDIT: There is a clinic at the Gateway Mall, so heres a good plan: Destroy the mall, and keep the clinic. Make the extra space whatever (residential, more commercial, or even a park).

Gateway Mall used to go shopping here when I was a kid with my family a lot good mall to go to plenty of places to eat always went to oscos my mom used to pick up medicine up there so did my dad

Its easy to miss the fact that there is a mall here because the stores I visit are all accessible only from the lot, not from the mall itself. I cant remember the last time for sure I was inside Gateway, I think it was either around the holidays or to go to the movies but it was kind of a ho-hum mall. Word on the street is that its starting to come around and they have a good food court and Antiques on Main moved up here so Ill have to make it a point to actually go inside one of these days.

I like this mall they seem much more friendly its easy to get around also some nice options, I think its under rated. Im looking forward to the new gym hopefully soon. New things popping up.😊

A great place for a good Mexican meal. The decor creates a south of the boarder atmosphere. The service has always been great and the food is delicious. You get a lot of food for the money.

I love kfc, but was sad at the deplorable cjeaniness. Very thing was coated with grease, trays were only cleaned, tables and chairs were slick. Buffet was replenished haphazardly.while gloves were use they were used for everything, food handling cleaning, adding new foods opening chains to get behind the buffet. I assume the new plastic plates were clean, but dust and dirt was persavie.

Run down dump of a place - the parking lot will destroy your car, most of the stores are empty, they need to sell this off to someone who wants to do something for the community

Im a truck driver passing through came here to workout shop and relax.And just cause I was there more then 24 hours they called a tow truck driver.This really sucks With Amazon taking over the whole retail business you think they like the fact that I at least spend 400 plus dollars in this mall.Instead they want to tow me away.Wow I hope Amazon does shut down these malls with managers on duty that see us as a threat.They sure as hell dont need our money.I will continue to shop Amazon and stop wasting my money across the United states malls that just keep kicking us out.Soon all these places will not exist and it will be all of the managers on duty that have shut down these malls.I gave it one star but Ill never come back here and will also warn other truckers.

Most polite management Ive ever done business with.Gateway is giving Bismarck back its original Blade Outlet formerly Black Hills Gold & Blade Outlet (Kirkwood mall) which is how you can find on the web. Or Black Hills Gold & Gift Outlet (Medora) on facebook.After hearing countless complaints about Kirkwood not allowing me to sell knives or any self defense items as I did for many years I felt the need to give back.Thank you to Gateway mall and all my customers that keep coming back year after year. Blade Outlet is back. For kirkwood to give my business away and allow someone to steal the clientele a business has built up for the last ten plus yrs is piss poor business ethics to say the least. So be careful they will do it to you too if someone will sign a longer lease then you. Opening this week!!!!!!

Many great stores and usually not packed as hell like Kirkwood is. I would always prefer this mall over the south Kirkwood mall.

Sears, Joann Fabrics and Hancock Fabrics are good stores, otherwise there is not much to do.

You know you are in the Gateway Mall if:1. you see your elders go around the mall like nascar2. you can do your shopping, get a haircut, get a coffee, and see a doctor in the same place.3. you can take your girl to watch a movie and eat at the same location.
