I think it is wonderful how Bisman Community Food Co-op is willing to support local vendors like us. I encourage everyone to return the favor and shop with them. I started going there over a year ago when I began a weight loss program with ND Life Spa. The Co-op is a great source for healthy, organic, and locally produced foods.

I absolutely love our co op! Finding vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options in Bismarck can be a challenge, but the co op has a wonderful selection to accommodate my family’s dietary needs. I also appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff are. Great atmosphere, awesome soup/salad bar, and quality products!

It was sunny about 73 degrees outside on a great fall day. I had been working since 7:00 am and figured that since I don’t get much time for lunch I would try a smoothie from the co op. That possibly could have been the best choice with the little time I had. I stopped in and took a look around and to my surprise they have a pretty decent selection of goods. I made it to the little coffee/smoothie shop they have and ordered the mango basil smoothie. This is were my day was ruined. The smoothie I ordered (who was presumably made by Karen) was green. That’s right green, and all I could do was ponder to myself if there was going to be any hint of mango when I tried it. She handed the smoothie to me I took one drink and to my disbelief it tasted like grass. That’s right they walked out back grabbed some grass put it in a blender and tried to name it MANGO BASIL. It could be that the smoothies here are not for me. I will always have trust issues and I will never try that smoothie again (unless it is improved.) Very friendly service though so 5 stars for that.

I was really impressed with the selection and size of this place. Lots of great stuff including healthy food to go. The next closest coop that even compares is probably in Billings to the west, or Minneapolis, to the East.

Love the option to be a member of a food cooperative. This is open to the public as well. Nice lunch options and a good selection of quality and healthy foods.

I love the coop. It’s one of the few places in Bismarck I’ve been able to shop with peace of mind for my dad who has underlying health conditions during the COVID pandemic. Everyone adheres to social distancing and taking precautions like wearing a mask. Thank you coop for being awesome.

Selection of locally grown foods is great. Love the eggs, asparagus, and microgreens. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Last weekend walked into live music there, so it was even fun to shop! Prices are too high for me to shop there regularly which stinks but understandable. Would be nice to have a temporary membership option for those of us in the area for a few months.

This place is awesome! Its so long over due to have a place like this in our area. Im very thankful to have a store- or in this place a co-op full of organic healthy options. Also many of the ingredients I cant find anywhere else are usually easy to find here. Gluten free eating? No problem! Vegan, yes. Carnivore only eating? They have options there too! Wonderful staff and fresh atmosphere. Love this place and I am also a big supporter of keeping things local and here you can.

As a founding member and ex-employee I am sickened by this place. They board fired the GM that made it what it was for no reason. Not a CO-OP anymore. Dont waste your time. It wont last 6 months. Again, founding member and ex-employee. What a shame. NO CARMEN, NO CO-OP #firetheboard

Nice little co-op. Small, but good. I enjoy the salad bar, but would like to see a few more choices. However, I moved from a town that has a much larger co-op, and understand that a smaller co-op will not be able to have the same selection. I appreciate that a large portion of their products are sourced locally.

Beautiful produce! Lots of local items and many delicious items that are not available elsewhere. They offer a large selection of personal care, supplements and household items. The brands they offer are top quality and affordable. We ate lunch in the deli, and enjoyed friendly service, yummy coffee/tea drinks and great food! Bismarck is blessed to have this amazing, new, locally owned store! I have been a food co-op member/owner/shopper in Minnesota for twenty plus years, this Co-op is among the nicest! Ill stop by every time Im in town!

Traveling through the area looking for a co-op, after looking it up on google this place was NOT listed what so ever, even with key words of, coop, raw, Whole Foods, grocery and even juice bar.. not till we went to two other “grocery” stores in the area and were about to leave till this showed up! This location needs more publicity! Support your locals! We all need more community based stores! Great selection beautiful store and great prices!

The Bisman Food Co-op offers a great variety of whole foods, produce, and frozen foods. They also sell a wide range of personal hygiene and beauty products, e.g. essential oils, make-up, and skin + hair care. The staff are always kind and quick to ask if you need help finding anything. They have a lunch bar and a great cafe where you can get a variety of tea, coffee, smoothies and juices.I also really appreciate how many locally sourced items they sell there.

I’m visiting Bismarck from St. Paul and my boyfriend and I tried the lime latte this morning and it was one of the best lattes we’ve had anywhere! Also, they have a hot breakfast bar with vegetarian and vegan options. I highly recommend!

Love, love, love the food coop. Everything you need for a healthy lifestyle, plus the staff is very helpful and friendly. You dont have to be a member to shop here, but come on - why not join. It will become your healthy place to shop!

This place is super welcomed addition to Bismarck. They have a really good selection of groceries for all dietary preferences.The staff is very friendly & helpful.They also have a really great lunch restaurant & the best coffee in town.

Excellent selection of whole and organic foods both delivered and locally grown. Wonderful selection in the meat department as well as a cafe with cold and hot foods. The staff was amazing! We are definitely going back.

The Bisman Community Co-op is a wonderful addition to our community! They offer a wide variety of options for healthy living, from fresh produce, bulk items, deli and bakery offering healthy, local options that are allergen friendly and/or lifestyle specific. Their prices are comparable to other grocery and specialty stores in the area making them my go to place to most items.

This little treasure has become my favorite place in Bismarck. The prices are a bit more than other stores that carry same items, but the variety is worth the visit. The coffee shop has an amazing selection with yummy chai tea from Minnesota :)

I became disenchanted with the Co-op after the meat dept closed and replaced with packaged meat. Saturday I purchased two peppers, a red and a yellow. The red was rotten on the inside. Though I took the a picture of it, the store wouldn’t honor the purchase and replace it. Two sides; one is I didn’t have a receipt the other is as a regular customer there’s something to be said about customer retention. I feel that the customer appreciation was lost and I’m disappointed.

I went here a couple time while I was in center North Dakota working. I wish I would have found this health store along time ago. Awesome sandwiches for lunch and a good variety of organic foods and health products.

Bismarck finally has something like Whole Foods Market.... only better, because its a co-op. Delicious food bar. Great bulk foods selection. I hope they will open another store on the north side of town.

This place is so awesome. Theres so much good to say you have to go for yourself. I will say this though, you have to try the fresh ground peanut butter. Delicious!

Im so happy we have this in bismarck!The produce and the bulk selections are amazing. My only complaint is that I wish the salad bar had more options.

Great place. Looking for healthy food and found it. Pleasant, very helpful staff, nice store, delicious salad bar, great burger from the grill. Excellent meat selection, too.

Cant say enough good things. All of it: the smiling faces, the perfect size of the place (not too big, not too little), the thoughtfully curated selection, the salad bar (the kale salad--- to die for). Its so worth it. Makes my day every time. You should go there and enjoy.

This CO-OP IS awesome! Live their Kombucha selection and their coffee bar has really creative, healthy, and delicious drinks. The staff has always been super friendly, too.

Small, but has a nice selection of products. It is pricey, but some of the products are shipped from far away. I felt like I was in California whole I was in there.

I really like this place, the staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are better than a lot of other places in town. The only downside to this place is they dont take ebt. I would be shopping there more often if that was excepted. Finally we have a co-op!!

Without this place in Bismarck there would be no place to get yummy certified gluten free food. My daughter has Celica Disease. The wrong food is an allergic reaction and a trip to the ER. This place is a true blessing. We go there to shop when she comes to town so she can make food. Thank you Bisman Food Co-Op.

For what it is, its a great place. There are a lot of options and theres a cafe and smoothie counter there as well. I just dont believe its worth paying that much money for the foods they offer.
